Perfect stay!

Everything! Location - within tourism road. Walkable to most cafes, restos. Amenities - very homey. Beach front! Outdoor shower. Dedicated parking lot for the villa. Staff - very hospitable. Updated us via whats app on day to day activities, electricity interruption. Helped us with our Sohoton island tour. Allowed us to check in early as we arrived in the island before check in time. 10/10 would recommend.

Very nice rooms, great staff, not much of a beach area

The rooms were very nicely decorated, comfortable beds, air conditioning worked well. The staff was incredibly helpful.

The beach wasn't great. Not really a place to stay very long unless you are booking tours etc through the hotel. They had a party one of the nights we stayed. For me it was great, as I love electronic music. For my friend it was a nightmare as it kept her awake all night.

We loved that the ocean, the bar, the pool, the massage room, the restaurant/café/gift shop, the food truck and the main office were all within seconds of our front door. Another nice feature is that the structures are made of concrete so that one can move quietly in the rooms at morning and night. The lush vegetation mixed with the chic island interior/exterior design makes Happiness a really comfortable and cool place to be. We also loved the mixed-use space by the beach bar (yoga studio, movie theater, dance floor, general seating area). Additionally, access to the Happiness Hostel bar and restaurant across the street made for a nice option after we’d spent all week on the beach side. Finally, the property is located on the edge of the busiest stretch of General Luna’s tourism area, meaning you are at once in the middle of it all but off of center so it feels a little more peaceful.

I could remark about how the some aspects of the property are not “world-class,” but I don’t go to the Philippines to feel like I’m in New York or LA, so I have no complaints; indeed, the small imperfections made us feel more comfortable, encouraged us to extend our lives outside of our private rooms, and to feel relaxed enjoying the entire premises as if it were our own.

De locatie van de accommodatie is perfect! Precies tussen het surf en stadsgedeelte in. Verder kan je er ook heerlijk eten (met korting): ontbijt, lunch en avondeten is top! Het personeel is ook super behulpzaam en vriendelijk. De bedden liggen heerlijk. Alleen de wifi is niet altijd even stabiel, dat heeft zn voor en nadelen :)

Amazing place

the room was amazing, nice, clean with an excellent decoration. The view from the balcony was mind-blowing. Cool chillout beach bar with a few sun beds. Outside the room there was a water tank to refill your bottle. Everything was great

Friendly and helpful staff. Great location!

Happiness Beach Resort was pleasant. We stayed at the beachfront villa, it was comfortable with many great amenities. The staff were very prompt with their replies and were able to accommodate us for anything we requested - such as fresh new bed sheets, to fix our water dispenser, to provide us a stronger wifi router and to address any water leaks from strong rainfall.

The middle room for the beachfront villa had no storage at all. The wifi was terrible and the beach wasn't appropriate for swimming.

Exceptional- Highly Recommended

It’s my second time to visit this place. Very accommodating staff- very helpful and attentive. I stay in the same room where I stay before and the problem I raised is being fixed already. The resort is very near in the spots. A lot of activities at the same time the foods are delicious. Highly recommended resort.

Clean room, ok landscaping, but the staff could have been more proactive.

Breakfast was good at Happiness. Ambience was nice as well.

Resto was still closed at 7 in the morning. They said they were still cleaning.

Good base for a short stay with friends

Helpful front desk staff. Thorough housekeeping team. Good sized rooms with space on the patio to hang up wet swim suits and towels. Water dispensers were available for clean drinking water.

Wifi was dreadful in the rooms and only accessible from the bar or reception area.

The room was ok. The resort has access to the beach, albeit not the place where people usually swim. Several good restaurants nearby. Staff is helpfull to help you organize trip or other needs you might have. It's a chill attitude place, so don't expect the 5 stars resorts service.

No internet in our room. It can get noisy certain evenings as they organize parties up to 1am. Music and party was fine but some guests next room kept at it all night and staff didn't stop them until 5am.

Everything! This is our second time at this hotel. love him very much. Cozy, clean, comfortable, in an excellent location. We really like the kitchen on the balcony and especially the lovely staff.

Rarely I rate a stay 10/10 but I had the GREATEST time at happiness. Staff constantly smiling, caring, very helpful. The atmosphere chilled, positive vibes, relaxing, cool! Met there people that are now becoming friends. Happiness made my stay in Siargao extra special! Genuinely recommending it and I’ll certainly come back if I ever have the chance again to visit the island.

Great property, with fun activities

Had to work remotely and the Happiness Bar had really good wifi and without any glitch during the time that I was there. The room advertised really looked like the pictures in Booking, so that is a pleasant surprise. They provide bath and beach towels, as well as robes. Really good aircon for hot days in the island. Staff was very kind, and accommodating. There were daily activities in the hotel (i.e. morning yoga, weekend parties, etc.) which made it very welcoming for visitors in the island. I'd recommend staying here.

Internet in the room, but this didn't bother me so much.

Near some restaurants but not super in the center of General Luna. They gave discount voucher for their affiliated shops/resto. There are tricycles outside though if you want to go to other restaurants. Beach is just a few steps from their accommodation but the beach is a little bit rocky.

Room was just okay for the price or might be a little pricey.

The Happiness is in a great location in General Luna with beach access. It has a small pool which is great for cooling off. The room was lovely, really nice decor, a balcony and great walk in shower. The staff were lovely, really friendly and helpful.

Not enough sun loungers, only 4. It was really noisy at night with drum and base pounding until gone midnight. Great if you want to party but not so good for us as we had to be up at 4 to catch a ferry.

The location of the Hotel is perfect. It located in the middle of General Luna and beach front. The rooms were clean and comfortable. They even turned the AC before checking me in. The vibe from the guest and staff also is very welcoming. Will definitely staying here again!

Great stay with lots of food choices

The staff was great and the hotel was great value for money! There's a restaurant and a food truck right outside that serves great food. The property was also flexible with our check in and out times so it was easier to manage our overall schedule.

The bathroom in the room can have better water supply. But still overall good.

Would definitely stay here again if I ever came back to Siargao.

The property was really lovely and quaint, built around a small gardens and a pathway heading down to the beach and beach bar. It was quite as off the busy road and had a lot of things going on around it only a very short walk away. The staff were exceptional and incredibly helpful, always smiling and nothing was ever a problem for them, no matter how many questions my partner asked them.
