Breakfast was OK. Staff just need to keep the flies off the food. The pool was freezing. Potholes (big) in the driveway to our room.
The room could have been cleaner, mould on fridge door. Carpet very stained. Shower area had either the white mould or calcium build-up.

The room was very comfortable and the view from our balcony was great
The on site restaurant was closed for dinner but this was easter Monday so not surprising and it was a short walk down the hill to other restaurants

The location was great. WiFi was good.
The room was very small. very limited tv channels. pillows were flat. cups for tea/coffee were too small. extremely noisy with other guests slamming room doors, dragging their chairs in the above rooms, crying babies, loud music being played for hours and people talking outside your room when your trying to sleep. Young children running around and doing bombies and diving in the pool area. Pool was freezing and tiles were extremely slippery and dangerous.

Didn't spend a lot of time in the room as we were in Bunbury playing cricket.
Rooms could have been serviced a little better.
3.5
Great location, comfy rooms
Sink for kitchenette, bugs in room crickets and moths, water from shower spills into bathroom, light through bathroom window could have a blind on it, bar fridge gets stuck on tiles

The location
In room 25 Executive Suite, The lounge smelled of urine and the spa leaked into the room below. When moving the lounge to see where smell was coming from it was dirty underneath on the carpet. There were fingernails/toenails. I was questioned on checkout about the spa leaking into the room below. I had no idea that it had as it appeared to be working fine. This is a maintenance issue.

The location was great.
Both Pool and upgrade view rooms felt scummy and cheap: more motel standard than high end. Carpets stained and felt unsanitary: Pool room facilities insufficient: No cutlery: No sanitary facilities: TV not functioning: Privacy non-existent unable to open curtains for air: Pool floor buildup of dirt: Standard and Tub chairs were stained and dirty in both rooms.
Upgrade cost did not reflect upgrade in facilities. No Mini Bar, not even bottled water just small pods of milk: Restaurant food restrictive: view from ground floor upgrade room was blocked by hedge, not worth the extra money: outside chairs were insufficient for a couple, were dirty and broken: table was old and damaged, cleanliness was a very poor quality, making it uncomfortable to relax. Restaurant closed and not much assistance regarding alternative eateries.
Apart from the location and surrounding area, the rest was a great disappointment especially the accommodation, no guidance to what attractions in the area ir what to do. As a first-time patron this was most disappointing, and would be very reluctant to book again.

No staff available apart from the curt obnoxious receptionist. Charged full price including breakfast. When we asked for a reimbursement, as buffet breaky was not available due to lack of staffing, we were basically advised not their problem take it up with booking.com. Lack of staff in rural towns is unavoidable, but having a receptionist who is helpful and understanding would go along way.

Nice location and clean, comfy rooms
Booked the Executive room with the patio view but got allocated the balcony room. I've stayed here a few times now and was a bit disappointed that I wasn't in the room I thought I was getting as I specifically booked for the patio.

The location overlooked the ocean. The bed was comfortable and the TV had a good selection of channels.
When we checked in the reception was freezing but to be fair, the roof had leaked. We were surprised how expensive the room was but judging by the location and online photos that was understandable. We had to get out of the car in a gale to find our room number which was hidden behind a lattice wall. We were stunned when we walked in to the room. The furniture was old, scraped and brown. The carpet, which had holes in it, was blue. The curtains had fallen off the hooks in places. There was an old spa bath in the bedroom. But that was a palace compared to the bathroom. It featured three different tiles, popular in 1960. There was a shower curtain and two towels (no hand towel) both well worn with one positioned over the toilet roll. The fan and window had years of grime around the edges.
I went back to reception with my iPad open at a photo of the bathroom we were expecting. The receptionist said the photos were of upgraded rooms and ours had not yet been upgraded. I said that was false advertising, I’d been ripped off and I’d seen better rooms at motels in servos on the highways. She was very understanding and said because they were full, she couldn’t offer me another room but would give me a full refund, which she did.
We did not eat in the restaurant but braved the gale to go elsewhere as we were not confident as to what the standard might be.

Couldnt stay longer

It has a lovely sea view from the right room
It is not fully renovated so one of our rooms was nice the other was very old and dated.
There is no lift so need to be aware when you are booking that if you want to use the restaurant or carry heavy bags upstairs stairs are the only way
4.5
We liked the location of the hotel. The room was very nice and well positioned for us. The view towards Bunbury and the hills was great as was the view overlooking the ocean.
We were very happy with the Mantra Lighthouse hotel.

The location is perfect, second time staying with this hotel after its re-name and it's still the same. The breakfast buffet was good, with a variety of options. The suite room is alright, it's showing its age compared to the city view room I stayed in prior. But still plenty of space to relax and store items. Heater's in both rooms were helpful with the very cold mornings and nights during my trip
The suite bathroom has some rough fixtures due to its age even after the refurbishments. The taps were very sensitive and would rattle if you didn't turn the taps fast enough, I could hear our neighbouring room struggle with the same problem. I didn't encounter this in the city-view room I had before. I would consider staying in a different room when I return to this hotel for another stay.

We have stayed here many times and have enjoyed it each time
This time was disappointing
Main problem it was cold there was a notice on the air con saying don't turn off and don't alter the temperature- it was so cold I did turn it off
Had a shower and had to get back dressed again
The walls outside needed replastering massive cracks down that due to the rain were really leaking quite badly

Location near the ocean and walk to town
No restaurant Sunday and Monday
3.5
Great location Great breakfast. Helpful staff especially Yong man that works in evenings and seems to do everything asked of him around the place.
Heating did not work. Could not be fixed so they supplied a free standing heater. Missing blurb in bed lamp which was eventually supplied. Not body wash and shampoo in shower. On wall by basin.
