the location is amazing, just next to the water mirror, lots of good cafes, bars and restaurants nearby, the staff was really helpful and welcoming, the single room is not the biggest but it was comfortable and clean and perfect for a short stay to spend the night and rest for a bit during the day
the walls are quite thin, you can hear a lot of noise from the hallway (like other guests opening the doors and walking around) so it might be a bit of an inconvenience when you're a light sleeper, the shower curtain was a bit annoying as it kept clinging to you when it was wet so it was a big of a struggle to take a shower

Location was brilliant - central to all shopping areas and just back from the riverfront
Good choice for breakfast
Decor a little "tired" with damage to paintwork in lots of places

The location of this hotel is excellent! It couldn’t be more central! I recommend staying in the hotel for that reason. It was very basic but the bed was comfortable, the room was spacious, it wasn’t noisy at all (room 23) even though it’s in the middle of everything. AC and Wi-Fi were very good.
The bathroom door didn’t close. The room needs reburbishment, it looks worn and furniture was old. The hairdryer was not fit for purpose.

Location
Outdated decor, street noise and outside hall light continuously turning on and off illuminating the room through the gaps around the door.

very friendly and accommodating staff, perfect location and very charming hotel!
only downside was some noise at night I guess coming from an extractor from the hotel or a close by building and kept us up a little

excellent location and supportive staffs
the room is not equipped with an electric kettle and we had to go to the staffs for hot drinking water every time.

Location, staff, shower and bed. The four essential ingredients of a good. The decor was nice and quirky too.
Thé room furnishings were a bit tired.

Great location, just a few steps away from the tram stop and off rue Sainte Catherine. Loads of eating options around.
Bottle of wine offered by the owner who has his own winery apparently.
Great reception staff.
Very nice lobby area, nicely decorated.
Past the lobby area, rooms (ours at least) are outdated, they don't match with what you get downstairs.
Room was small.
Double bed for 2 people was small!
Heating was full on when we got into the room. It was playing up later, always too hot even when we turned it off.
Not enough toilet paper, 1st roll that was there already was almost finished. Glad we didn't have any stomach issues during the night 😆
Taking a shower was challenging! The water was boiling hot most of the time no matter if you put it on cold. I reckon the heating system/boiler has serious issues.
We didn't have breakfast there as we wanted to explore options outside since they were so many in town.

the hotel is in the Centre of Bordeaux just near the place de la bourse. you can’t get more central close to sights , shops and restaurant . the service is really good and the staff are very helpful. we were there on New Year’s Day and they could not have been more accomodating . the breakfast is simple but good and the beds are comfortable . the rooms have double glazing so you don’t hear the noise of the street . all in all it was a very pleasant stay for a few nights
the rooms and bathroom are small but it is a hotel in the old town so it’s very traditional . we new this and we’re not planning to stay in the bedrooms except to sleep .

We only stayed here for one night as we were heading to Toulouse the next day, however the location, the room and the welcome were perfect. We were hoping to stay here in the summer when we visit Bordeaux but it's fully booked.
It's not far from the Bourse tram stop, just a short walk, and the room was clean and welcoming. The hotel also has a chateau and vineyard, and there was a complimentary bottle of wine in the room (which was delicious!). We know Bordeaux very well, and this place is just away from the noise and hussle.
Whenever we're back in Bordeaux, this will be the first place I look at for availability.

The best thing about this hotel is its location. It is almost on Place de la Bourse, in Rue St Remi which is a very vibrant street full of shops and restaurants but at the same time not very noisy. I booked a double room by mistake and I asked for a twin room instead and they did their best to accommodate me and I appreciated this because I was travelling with my adult son and we preferred to have two single beds. The room was quite nice but everything is very basic as one can expect from a two-star hotel. The bathroom is tiny but modern. The beds were very comfortable and the room is well-lit and clean. So all in all, a rather good experience. I wanted to find something basic and central and this hotel is perfect for that. No frills but also much less expensive than other hotels. The staff speak English and are quite friendly.
The shower has a curtain instead of a door which I find rather uncomfortable while showering. There is not even a bin in the room. There is just a small bin in the bathroom. The soap in the bathroom was not refilled when it finished. The furniture is ok but there is not even one piece of furniture with a drawer. So we had to keep everything on the table or in our luggage. The wifi connection is not automatic. Every time we had to log in and sometimes I did not manage to connect. The hotel gives a bottle of wine to its guests in the room. However, considering that this is Bordeaux, the capital of wine, the wine could have been of better quality. The breakfast is basic. No toaster, nothing cooked. There is bread, cheese and ham, jams, fruit, two types of cereal, teas, coffee and hot chocolate as well as mini croissants and another type of pastry and some dried fruit.
