Location by the station.
Nothing.

the window looked over trees
the stairs to the second floor are very steep. i couldn't find anywhere sensible to leave the keys in the morning.

A 2* Hotel, conveniently right opposite Agde SNCF Station and bus connections to local places, including the 660 bus which goes to and from the airport at Beziers. The room was small and badly soundproofed, but the Hotel is adequate for a stay of a night or two. For a 2* this is to be expected. It is clean, which is the most important thing.
The welcome was not overly friendly, but not important as my interaction with Hotel staff during my stay was limited. There was a separate entrance to the hotel from the bar and restaurant. Also, although my booking stated breakfast was included, there was a supplement to pay of 6 euros 50. But the price of a night's stay is reasonable, so I did'nt argue.

Room was basic, but very clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Despite us not knowing any French and the staff not knowing much English, the staff were very helpful and willing to help with our concerns and questions. Our room was small, but very tidy and nice - visibly upgraded recently. Although the hotel looked a bit dated (excluding the room), hotel felt very homey.
The hotel and parking were a bit hard to locate when arriving by car. We needed to ask the staff to locate the parking. Additionally, you could hear the noise from the stairway pretty well (thankflully the hotel is rather small), and the wifi didn't really work in our room (2nd floor).

I'm writing this review on the basis that this hotel is very inexpensive opposite the train station and five minutes from town. On this basis it was good value. The rooms are dated but clean. For two nights it was comfortable. There is a bar which serves food. There is a terrace if its sunny. Staff were friendly.
WiFi didn't work on the top floor which would be easy for them to fix. The rooms are dated. For those with access issues the top floor would be difficult as the steps are steep. You can hear your neighbours. The train station makes a lot of noise. The building shakes when trains pass but that was quite funny.

We came with a late plane and needed to stay over the night to catch a train the next day. Situated just next to Agde train station, simple but clean and the price is absolutely correct. The couple that are running the hotel and restaurant were adorable and made us a late dinner even though the kitchen should have been closed. The seafood linguine was fantastic.

Last minute booking as our flight was cancelled. Good location right next to the train station, nice bar area and friendly helpful staff. Rooms are very dated. The room was actually clean.
Unfortunately our room was full of mosquitoes and we were eaten alive!

Shower room very modern
Items stored outside the bedrooms.
No curtains in bedroom only shutters which were slow and bothersome to operate.
No fresh croissants for breakfast.
Not possible to check out at 07.00 as claimed by notice on the premises and in the booking.com form. Hotel reception was closed and after missing two trains ,which I could have used, I left the keys in the letter box at 08.20 .

Staff welcomed late arrival (pre-warned)
Nothing, accepting that's a basic-level hotel.

location superb, beautiful trees on street

the view and convenience next to the train station.
the insect in my bed. 🙈😫.There was also one sachet of shower gel and half a role of toilet paper used roll. the toilet didn’t look clean around the bowl.
9.0
Right next to the train station which is what we were looking for.
1.0
Poor sound insulation (could hear conversations from the other rooms) and the room interior is very old and worn-out. The shower didn't have the proper installation to hold shampoo. Wouldn't stay again.

Very friendly and helpful host. Speaks English. Clean and comfortable room near the station. Good value .

The place was very near the train, which we needed. Reasonably close to the town as well. Breakfast was good, reasonable in price and more than enough to start a good day.
The place could use a face lift, even if the rooms were nice and clean, albeit fairly small. The windows couldn’t stand open so the room became rather hot.

Very friendly welcome. (In English and definitely available in French & probably Spanish too!)
Very competitive budget pricing.
Good location - right opposite the station and a 5 minute walk to the fascinating Old Town of Agde with plenty of bars and restaurants along the waterfront.
Very comfortable bed with freshly laundered sheets. Plenty of good towels. Strong shower and plenty of hot water.
Individual split A/C with remote - very quiet and effective. Flat screen TV with remote and usual local cable channels.
Good bar and cafe/resto offering an adequate choice of reasonably priced formules.
Good free parking at the train station across the road.
There wasn't much to actually dislike however a few niggles:
Some soap in the bathroom would have been nice but we just used the provided shower gel instead.
The free internet service (Orange Livebox) was very good but Orange seem to have a problem handling VPN connections - which I like to use when handling financial transactions over a public network. Orange blocked my VPN after a few minutes. A small niggle but security on the web is important these days.
The decor is ready for a freshen up but on the upside everything was very clean and furnishing was entirely adequate for a budget hotel.
No lift - no problem for me but could be difficult for anyone with mobility issues.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Good location if you need to explore Agde and be close to the train station. Nice terrace where you can have breakfast or lunch
I could hear all neighbours, no soap in the bathroom
