We didn’t eat the breakfast because it was poor. We ate in town.
This is a 2-3 star hotel and is totally misrepresented as a 4 star. The decor is from the 70s, no Aircon we couldn’t take the heat . Small room, huge terrace that had very little furniture.

Nothing
The structure is shabby, obsolete and very poorly decorated; the lighting is very cheap and the furnishings either in the common areas or in the rooms are old and worn out.
Staff: The property manager clearly gives the impression of not having any clue of her job and we noticed another disturbing individual dressed like a chef who was screaming unlikely threats around trying to intimidate me and my family unsuccessfully. Sorry for the young reps who seemed to be decent persons who happened to be in the wrong place.
Cleaning: When we finally arrived in our room after a very long day later then midnight we had a disgusting surprise. In the bed hair, pubic hair and dirty sheets; dust everywhere spider web in the corners. The I-don't-know-what-I'm-doing-here manager came to have a look, bored and annoyed and only when she saw that crap after having stammered an apology she gave us another room. Finally at around 1:30am we went to bed still disgusted.
Health: literally none were wearing a mask and we couldn't see any sanitizer dispenser or at a least a signage to pay attention because in the real world there is a pandemic.
Kitchen : Breakfast was a way below of being acceptable with poor choice of pre-packaged and industrial cookies and pastries with literally nothing reminding a rich, classy breakfast you can expect in a 4 (four!) stars hotel. My brother asked a slice of lemon for his tea (not some Eggs Benedict!) and the poor guy answered it was not available ... Fortunately we skipped the second breakfast (which was included)
The only 4* element is the outrageous price. Shame on you!

The location was great. Bathroom was clean. Breakfast was good. Reception was good.
The pillow was not good at all you should ask to change it. Also blankets was too old and really needs to be changed

Good location
Good building but terrible furniture in rooms.
It could be a really nice hotel in the right hands.
In need of an update.
The service was poor, almost unprofessional:
I was asked to pay cash for our stay instead of using my card for no obvious reason. Difficult to do when staying three nights and with no functioning ATM in the village.
Nobody at reception in the evenings and no checkout possible before 8am, which was a problem for us upon leaving as we had long journey.
The restaurant food and service was very poor, even at breakfast: little choice, croissants were incredibly stale and coffee was undrinkable.
We decided to eat at the restaurant in the first evening based on good reviews on Tripadvisor. We never got our starter and when main course arrived 30 minutes later waiter simply shrugged his shoulders when I enquired about starter. The main course was also overcooked and dry.
In the same sitting at least three other tables complained about service. It makes me wonder about the accuracy of the reviews.
Finally, bedroom corridors where extremely noisy (no carpet) and you could hear loud voices and doors closing throughout the night

The grounds were beautiful.
It was advertised as having air conditioning which is important for our infant, however our room did not have a unit or even a vent.

Hot water not enough
