location is OK
Reception personal is very slow. We arrived at last Saturday night and after checking in we went into town for a dinner, we returned at about 10:45pm to find several people struggling to get into the hotel due to a broken front door. Everyone, including us, tried to get help on the phone number they have on the door, but no one answered. After almost 1 hour of freezing outside, one hotel guest happened to come to the balcony to smoke and heard us screaming for help to help us and open the door from inside. Thanks to him, after 1 hour of being outside and freezing, we entered the hotel. Shame for the hotel, they lost our trust.

Very spacious rooms.
Great breakfast for 5 euros.
It's a bit far from the city center and public transportation.

The room was big.
The bed was not comfortable, it was old hospital style. We had insects in the room and not only mosquitos.

Value was good. The hotel was clean and simple but again was a good value. The location was good and in a cute little town. Breakfast was consistent and the morning Latte's were very good.
Totally creepy to me that they there is not a person at the in the building in the evenings. We traveled with another couple that had their own room. When we got back to the hotel after a long day and our keys did not work for BOTH couples rooms. Could not get in the building, we eventually got into the building because another guest walked out. We called the number on the door and they guided us to the master key which got us in our rooms. Unbelievable that you do not have anyone on site to provide service to your guests.

I fell over and injured myself, but the hotel didn't have a first aid kit.
One night I was sleeping and someone opened my room door at 2 PM. I understood it was two hotel guests who were drunk and opened my door by mistake. Seems like room keys can open every room. They left when I screamed, I was so scared. I closed the door properly before I went to bed. There was no additional chain on the door, or do not disturb sign.

The owner recommended a great restaurant to us
Arrived on a Sunday at 4pm and couldn't get into the hotel for about 30 minutes. We rang the bell, rang the phone , knocked, but no one opened. By chance the residents came out and helped us in.
We found an envelope with my name on it at reception and went up to the 206 room , but our key card was demagnetised and we couldn't get in.
The kids were very tired after a 6 hour trip. We came back and started calling all the phones. After 20 minutes, the owner came and renewed our key card. There was no one at the reception the whole time.
Only then did we get inside the room.
At night we woke up to the fact that the water dripped from the air conditioner into the bed where my youngest daughter was sleeping. It was a very hot day (+37) and the night was also very hot. We could not sleep without air conditioning. The second air conditioner did not work at all. We moved the bed.
Went for breakfast in the morning, there was no breakfast. For sanitary reasons.
We left - we didn't meet anyone at the reception.
Bottom line: Worst hotel I've ever been to. This is the worst.

Rooms were clean, kept up to a good standard
The location is pretty bad

The room was big, but actually a little too big, so not so cosy. The breakfast place was at a terrace and room in the uppermost floor.
The reception was closed before ten and luckily a family opened for us with their key, we found our key on the reception desk. Next morning at checkout there were no one in the reception again. We saw two employees in total: one cleaning lady and one in the breakfast (which seemed to manage the reseption and everything at the same time, many floors down). It said that there was a great view; not correct. The position is not good and we forgot that we were still in Vicenza, though there was a bus nearby. The room seemed clean, but the trash was completely full when we arrived. On one of the chairs the artificial pelt was falling off. The breakfast lacked almost everything: eggs had to be made on demand (that was nice of them and it is very understandable that they didn't make them before as we were the only ones eating there!), there were no vegetables, only plastic plates, no water, no hot food as you might expect in a hotel breakfast. We had to ask for cutlery, and some plates/cups were not clean.

Good air conditioning and good sleep.
Wifi only worked in the lobby. The minibar refridgerator did not work. One of the window curtains was missing.
