No Internet/Foxtel.No landline phone. We did not attend to cook there but when three day lockdown we had to. Fridge antique full of food.. Oven did not use as no dial settings & dirty. Had to use BBQ olden. The dirt tray full of old ash. Gas bottles one ran out second night next one the next night. Kitchen garbage bin no lid.King bed two singles together. Good location & a nice unit but just not pristine. Needs updating. You feel like you are living in someones apartment who is on holidays elsewhere.

Darwin apartment
David was a wonderful host and the apartment was conveniently located to Darwin CBD. It is however within a residential block of permanent residents so holiday makers wanting to carouse will not find it ideal.

Great location. The apartment needs to be less cluttered.
Email coms are difficult with stays owners because; the renter has to log in with a password and more importantly, the property addresses, phone no are not shown on the email.

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. The property is well situated and close to everything youd probably need. The rooms were very comfortable and having 2 bathrooms was great. The secure parking and yard was very comforting as we could leave our door and windows open. The Apartment has nearly everything youd need, David had cooked us a nice meal for our first night, which we all really enjoyed and left some food to allow us to cook breakfast the next morning. There is a Woolworths and Coles within walking distance for anything else that youd like to purchase, plus the city centre is only a block away. There are lots of nice places to eat close by, if you would prefer not to cook and the water front with the Wave Pool and Children/ Teenagers entertainment is only about a 10 minute walk down the road. The Water front and city centre has lots of restaurants and cafes and plenty of parking. We would love to stay here again. It was very very enjoyable. Also the Couch mentioned in another post is very comfy. It is beautiful soft leather and we all found that we would spend quite a lot of time lying there watching tv.Putting the Air con on 26 Degrees, we found was a great temperature. Cool enough to sleep but not so cold that youd want to turn it off. I recommend hiring a car from JJs Car Hire, they are the cheapest and the vehicles are very good. However you will need to get a taxi to the Car Hire place as they do not have somewhere to pickup at the Airport. The cost savings however outweighs the cost of a taxi.I would like to Thank David again for the lovely stay, He was a great Host.

The location was excellent, easy walking distance to Darwin central and waterfront precinct. Comfortable and clean as well as having home made biscuits and sausage rolls ready on arrival. Bacon and eggs provided for brekky, along with wine and soft drink for later. Thanks David for your hospitality.

Enjoyable stay, good location
We stayed for four nights during our short break in Darwin. David was very welcoming: he kindly picked us up from the airport as planned and took us to the apartment where he had scones and refreshments in the fridge ready for us.
The apartment suited us well with two queen sized beds and two bathrooms. The air con was much appreciated in humid Darwin! Easy walking distance to Mitchell Street (10mins), Waterfront and Mindil Market (15-20mins). It was a good base for us to do trips, such as Litchfield, and to explore Darwin. David was easily contactable, took us back to the airport at the end of our trip, and returned our deposit without any hassle. For two twenty-something year olds, it served its purpose well.

Convenient Property
My husband and I recently stayed at this apartment with our 2 toddlers. We found the location to be in good proximity to supermarkets and Darwin's Mitchell Street.
Apartment was clean and well stocked with anything you could need " a true home away from home" rather than a luxury penthouse. Though not pent house style we found it to be very convenient and comfortable for our family of small
children. The home cooked scones and jelly made especially for the children were a wonderful surprise . You don't see that old school hospitality these days.

Excellent location, so close to the CBD, walking distance to everywhere, plenty of room, quiet apartment block (unfortunately we were there when major earthworks were going on next door which caused a lot of noise & dust) but on the whole would definitely recommend & would stay here again.
