Come and relax with the serenity of all that Silver Lake has to offer! We are on a quiet section of the lake, and enjoy the call of the loons. You are sure to see them swimming by as well!
In the woods on Silver Lake this modern cabin has a kitchen with microwave and all amenities including coffee maker and espresso machine. Living/dining room overlooking Silver Lake with 3 French doors opening on a nice deck for having a cup of blueberry coffee. No need to worry about finding a laundromat as there are a washer and dryer in the basement. The master bedroom, with a high queen bed, is up the open stairway overlooking the deck and lake. Books, DVDs, puzzles, and games are at your disposal. Each bedroom has its own TV/DVD. This quiet cabin is 45 minutes north of Bangor, ME between Lincoln and Lee.
Like to hike? Like to ride your four-wheeler? Like to just sit and drink blueberry coffee and do nothing?! This is the place to do it! Lots of trails right behind the house. Canoeing is a good option also. Bring your best four-legged friend and hang out at the Lake!
In the area: Also in the area are restaurants in Lincoln and Lee, with a hospital with ER in Lincoln only 9 miles away. In Lincoln also are a WalMart and Hannaford grocery. Plenty of gift shops and antique shops are in the area as well has horseback riding.
For those in a gambling mood Bangor has a casino. And Maine is also the home of Stephen King! Perhaps you will pass him on the street!

For us, a dream come true! Beautiful place, lots of windows, high ceiling, great kitchen, right on the lake, use of canoes and kayaks, evening sounds of loons, pet friendly! Wonderful!

Beautiful location - even better than the pictures. The house is roomy and comfortable. The little extras were lovely (wine and blueberry coffee). Everything you need is provided except your food! We canoed, kayaked, hiked and enjoyed the views and the provided entertainment inside the house (movies, foosball, board games and video games). We enjoyed cooking out on the grill. We loved hearing and seeing loons daily. I wholeheartedly recommend this lake house. The owner was very responsive. We hope to return soon!

Really well stocked house right on the lake (and dog friendly!). Neighbors werenât too close and the fishing was A+. If it wasnât already booked Iâd try to grab another weekend this summer - two nights wasnât enough!

This hidden gem is the perfect place to unwind and relax. Right on the lake and minutes from great hiking, this place is hard to beat! Secluded yet close enough to Lincoln and Millinocket in case you need supplies or want to sample local food and beer. The water was still a bit cold so we didn't take advantage of the kayaks but would have loved to. We will surely be back another time!!

We went for an ice fishing getaway to the surrounding lakes. Found this house and I am glad we did. It has a nice open concept with cathedral ceilings. Very inviting and laid back feel. It provided everything we were looking for during our stay.

My husband and I had a great time spending New Years in the quiet of Maine. Our stay was everything we had hoped. The house was clean, well supplied and you canât beat the views. We especially enjoyed taking our dog with us. We love that the owners are animal lovers and their needs were considered just as much as the humans. I can not recommend this place enough and hope to return maybe at a warmer time of year to enjoy the deck and the lake. Although frozen over was a winter wonderland and very beautiful.

My fiancée and I had a great relaxing time by the lake over the Thanksgiving weekend. The cabin is large, comfortable and very well equipped. The only downside was the cleanliness, we thought the cabin could benefit from a heavy cleaning overall.

Beautiful home. Perfectly picturesque! Serene. Lovely. Right on the lake. Sounds of loons! Our family and dogs love this place and really appreciate the kindness of the owner in giving others the opportunity to enjoy his gorgeous lake house!!! This lake house was the perfect escape from NYC. It was so nice to start off our mornings with a cup of coffee on the dock listening to the Loons and the fish in the lake feeding. We loved fishing off the dock and cooking our catch. The dogs had a blast running around the property and catching all the new smells. Everyone had such a great time, we would definitely make another trip.

We stayed at this house for our honeymoon, we were so surprised at everything this house had to offer!! They provide tons of games, kayaks, movies, books, fully stocked kitchen, etc... The owner is so helpful! We are already going to book this house for our vacation next summer. The house was super clean. We fished in that lake everyday and we caught a couple of hundred fish over the span of 2 weeks. I can't say enough good things about this house, and the owner!!

This is a very sweet and well kept house. The large spacious open concept is perfect for family entertaining. Althought it was only 4 of us it was an amazing time. This house provides everything for you. Even games/painting and drawing materials. I loved it so much WE WILL RETURN

The pictures are accurate but do not fully describe the beauty of this setting. We enjoyed every moment of our trip to Maine and stay at this home. The lake is spectacular and because of the time of year it felt like it was only ours. Seeing and hearing the loons were such an amazing experience. The accommodations were adequate for us, and all of our needs were met. If we ever return to the area, we would stay here again without hesitation.

The home and setting were enchanting. Where we live now cars,bikes and trucks speed by, usually playing loud music, or with loud engines-not at the lake house! There were none of those sounds,just nature! For total relaxation the lake house is the place to go. Thank you

This property was easy to find while still tucked away and private. The lake is beautiful! The home has everything you could need, we loved how pet friendly it was even though we didnât bring our dog with us. Itâs nice and open with high ceilings which make the space feel massive.

My husband and I have stayed at this lake house every year for the past 3 years! We love it! It is warm and cozy and makes you feel right at home! Everything you need is there! We cooked inside and on the grill outside. We sat by the fire outside and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. We loved going in the canoe and exploring Silver Lake! We always hate to leave! We loved your home's layout and the multiple sliding glass doors! It's a beautiful setting, very peaceful and tranquil. The kitchen is fully stocked. My favorite thing was the wonderful bed! You have thought of everything and then some to keep your guests entertained; dvd's, books, games, puzzles and I think I also saw a game console! The weather kept us from enjoying the outdoors, the canoe, kayaks and paddle boat. Thanks for sharing your lake home!

What a wonderful place! This was our second stay and we are planning to come back next year! This is a perfect vacation for us and a dream come true. From waking up in the morning with Blueberry coffee and pancakes we prepared in the fully stocked kitchen and ate at the table overlooking the lake, to sitting on the dock with our pups watching our kids paddle around the lake or going for a paddle ourselves, or listening to the beautifully haunting loons, we were surrounded by beauty all the time. We are very grateful to the owners who, I feel, share their place just to bring others joy.
PS. My husband and son fixed the paddleboat with some nuts and bolts, so if you read other reviews that said you can't use the paddleboat, you can now.

We needed local lodging for a weekend in Lee. This property was available and we rented it basically for sleeping only. The property was advertised as "pet friendly" so there was some pet hair in the rental. This unit is well equipped for a family with pets, and it worked out well for my wife and I, but I would not recommend it for two couples. There is no closet space as the closets are filled with other peoples stuff, so you have to work out of your suitcases and the dresser.

The house is located in a beautiful spot with a great view of the lake. Everything was clean, neat and had a peaceful vibe. The nearby thereâs a Walmart, Hannaford and Walgreens, which was very convenient. We all sat on the dock with our feet in the water, just talking, laughing and listening to music. (An incredible feat with 2 teenage boys). That alone made it perfect. We are already planning next yearâs visit.

Wonderful week on the lake.
This property was amazing. Truly everything was provided except food. Some of the boats had wear and tear issues that we informed the owner about and he said would get fixed. It's a very quiet location, but you can get into town in fifteen-twenty minutes. We were warned about biting flies by a Mainer I met before the trip, but they weren't much of an issue (we were there in June). I highly recommend this property.

Extremely pet friendly
One of the most pet friendly properties we have ever experienced. Unfortunately with that comes with all of the messes that pets leave behind in the living room carpet. Highly recommend regular professional carpet cleanings as well as all the nooks and crannies getting some cleaning attention. Both the paddle boat and canoe are inoperable and should be removed for safety. Beautiful and homey otherwise. Great location.

Wonderful for family and dogs!
We had a wonderful time at this spot in Lee. Fully equipped for dogs - everything from cookies, brushes, beds and toys to doggy life vests, gates and a run. We brought a rake and shovel with us as we always do to tidy up after our dogs (FYI to future guests - please clean up after your pups). Had all the conveniences of home plus all the extras. We felt so welcome and like family. The owner checked in to be sure we were enjoying ourselves. So thoughtful! Be sure to read the book on the coffee table and sign the guest book! :)

Needs repairs and updating.
Lake was beautiful! Caretaker answered questions promptly, however, owner never responded to email and I never received check in info in email, had to look on Vrbo and call caretaker. Whomever is cleaning, isnât. Bathtub was dirty, walls in bathroom very dirty, and toilet seat old and broken when seated on (the person with us weighed under 100). The shower dials are all cracked and the water only trickled out of the 2 shower heads, it was hot though. In the kitchen, the keruig machine hadnât been cleaned inside and out for months, toaster oven was so dirty we oven baked our English muffins, entire kitchen was overall not clean and many mugs dirty. We washed everything before using it. The chairs in basement for outside were not safe to sit on, couldnât use paddle boat because rudder was duct taped, and the life jackets had mold on them. The gas grill was not cleaned after use. In the downstairs bedroom we heard scratching in the wall at night. The sofaâs were very uncomfortable and the recliner leaned toward the left? If it wasnât for the lake we wouldâve left. We enjoyed the one day of the lake due to rain on the other days we spent inside. With a good cleaning, replacing many items, and updating, you could rent this for more money because of the location. We sadly wonât return. đ
