Tracey was very helpful and is an excellent host!

Was working away for work, and the job was based in Westbay Harbour; the location of Westpoint Apartments was perfect. The accommodation was great and was exactly what I needed to come back to after a long day of work!

Much better than expected from the outside. Good location.

Compact but well appointed. Cosy. TWO bathrooms. Well equipped and comfortable. Central location near the sea and harbour. Very helpful host (despite a damaged ankle!). Free parking close by. Nice touches like books to read, games to play. We enjoyed our stay, particularly Bridport market and our meal at the Seagulls Restaurant in West Bay (need to book).

Personal preference - could do with better blinds to block out the early morning light. Probably not the most attractive buildings - 1970's? Otherwise probably things over which the apartments had no control - seagulls doing Strictly Come Dancing on the roof at dawn. Boy racers in cars at midnight on the promenade opposite the site.

West Bay stay

The apartment was adequate for our needs. Comfortable bed. Kitchen was very small., Would have liked an electric kettle rather than using a kettle on the stove, had difficulty using, perhaps instructions on use would have been helpful. Bathroom small but shower lovely, lots of hot water. Will definitely rent apartment again when we come down for the rally weekend.

The seagulls were very noisy, but then it is the seaside. Did hear some noise through walls of the neighbours, but overall the noise didn't really affect us.

Best sea views we’ve ever had

Beautiful furniture and furnishings. The location was excellent — we loved having all our meals with a front-row sea view. Very comfortable bed also and the kitchen had everything we needed. Spacious.

A little cold at nights in the winter, the toilet was missing a toilet brush, and the bed was a little big so we kept hitting ourselves on the frame.

Epic weekend in Westbay made all the better by a great place to stay

The location is superb, the layout is good and welcoming. The kitchen may be small but it is well equipped. The bed was a good size and very comfortable. There is a whole library of books and DVD's on hand that looked to support many interests.

The shower is a little compact but was a good flow and temperature, init could use a shampoo/shower gel shelf cos once It was dropped retrieval was difficult. I am not familiar with the area but thought that the outer door could have been more secure with maybe a digital lock perhaps.

Small studio in a great location

Small but clean studio in a great location with parking. Simple kitchen and small bathroom but fine for a short stay. Host was very helpful.

Very good

Both bedrooms were en suite which made our stay much more comfortable. It's location on the Esplanade was ideal.

The kitchen was very small making it impossible for more than one person to be in it at any one time. There were only 4 wine glasses, one of which was cracked and there were 4 of us wanti g to use them!t

The location was fabulous and the apartment was well equipped. There were additional touches like tea coffee and toiletries which we did not expect from a self catering accomodation.

There was a slight leak from the bottom of the shower .

Location on the front opposite the beach was good, place was well fitted with all requirements.

Excellent location in an old fashioned seaside town

Great location, contact friendly and quick to reply. Apartment was clean and well maintained, books and DVDs to use made for a lovely family break.

pleasantly surprised.

Being pet friendly, location and price. Ideal as base to explore the coastal walks and beaches. Basic accommodation but clean and quiet after hours.

Property was fine but a suggestion would be maybe an enclosed area out front, similar to a few others would be ideal to allow dogs to wonder in and out.

excellent stay

Excellent accommodation far exceeded expectations for the money. Tracy the host also checked in to ensure we had arrived and got into the apartment ok which i thought was a great personable thing to do and she said if there was anything we needed she was on hand. Really clean accommodation. tea/coffee/sugar and milk sachets are there on arrival which is good if you hadn't a chance to bring anything with you. washing up liquid, hand wash and toiletries was available too.

It didn't have a iron that i could find and the top windows in the bedroom i couldn't open and so was stuffy when we woke but i could have just rang to ask so not a total negative just observation.

fabulous stay for my mothers 80th birthday.

lovely hosts, who were very warm and welcoming. very clean and comfortable. good facilities and equipment. Every thing was thought of from a tea towel too lovely smellies in the shower room. Great views of the sea and a short walk to the harbour.

Tracey was very helpful and answered any questions I had. The apartment is very generous in size and very clean.

The double mattress in the family room was to thin for my personal liking, were not fans of memory foam (but we have slept on worse).

Would thoroughly recommend as a good base to explore the area.

We have stayed before and love the location. This time we had a larger apartment with a sea view and absolutely loved it. Everything you need for a stay in a great part of the country. There was great communication with the owner.

Good stay in an excellent location, apartment ok, clean and comfy. Lacked space.

Not much kitchen work surface, a fold up table was available, however using this takes up the space and there wasn’t much of that. Apartment smaller than anticipated but served the purpose for 2 nights.

Lovely apartment, nicely equipped and perfect for a short stay near the sea. Not quite a sea view (it wasn't described as such) but the next best thing, just across the road from the seafront, we could hear the waves and smell the sea. Recently refurbished and with nice decoration and a lovely comfortable bed. There is just enough room for two and a dog. West Bay is a lovely location and even in November there are enough open cafes, restaurants and pubs to not get tired visiting the same locations.

There is nothing really negative to report. Just be aware it's not the biggest apartment but still great for a short stay. We couldn't fault the location at all.

A great place to stay

Perfect location on the seafront, with little traffic making it safe for walking with the dog.

Only the heating in the apartment in the evening would have been better if it came on and stayed on instead of going off for a period, letting it go cold.
