This was perfect for me and my 7 work colleagues. Everyone has their own space and the common area is cozy.

This Property is essentially a Victorian Mansion in close proximity to LoDo Denver. The Property itself is in good condition with many internal architectural features that are quite charming. The location is good. The proximity to LoDo is very good (although too far to comfortably walk) but the neighborhood is a bit sketch. Businesses with bars on windows etc. Definitely no issues during daylight but not a place you feel comfortable walking alone at dark, especially females. Most people we saw walking around had large dogs. Which leads to the most unpleasant feature about this VRBO - the owner/resident and his dogs. The owner is a surly fellow with two large dogs. The directions of the VRBO stipulate no loud music or noise after 11 PM which is fine as we were a group of professionals doing some hiking in Colorado and not partiers. Sadly, apparently, the rule is not reciprocal as the owner resided in a third-floor unit above us and the large (60 poundish) dogs run rampant throughout the evening. This resulted in a lot of aggravation for our team sleeping on the second floor. The house has a decent Victorian patio (overlooking a roughshod landscaping) but it was difficult to enjoy ourselves freely as the owner stalked around the yard with his two large dogs unleashed. One actually got loose and attacked a neighboring dog. It was sobering. All of the service fee benefits associated with the VRBO is complete BS. Not a chance we would return to this Property.

The house was not clean. We found glass on the floor in two bedrooms. One person cut their foot on the glass. There were stains on the sheets in the basement. Two of the beds were not made up. There was hair on the toilet in the main level. There was an enormous dog bone in the hallway that smelled and I had to ask twice to have it removed. There was also debris in the hallway. It was not clear that other people lived on site. It felt very unsafe that we had to go outside of the door to the basement and share with the tenant. The yard was unkept. The front steps where the gate entrance to the home was stacked with cement squares that were loose. They were not secured down and very wobbly. Several people tripped on this and almost hurt themselves. The area did not fee safe. I complained to the property manager and this was his response.
You should have brought the issues to our attention upon arrival. You only contacted us 2 days later (during which 10 people could have done a lot of things in the house), how do we know that no one in your party broke a glass while you were out, or a piece of glass got stuck on someone's shoe from outside and fell inside, or on a luggage wheel for example? Same for the sheets, we inspected all the sheets after you left and we did not see any traces of oil. Some dryer scent sheets sometimes get stuck to the sheets in the dryer and leave a trace from the high heat,

Overall this house was great. Good location. What you'd expect from the photos.
The listing was however unclear about the fact the basement rooms are part of the 8 listed, not in addition to. Also, the basement rooms definitely feel like you are staying in a basement.
The biggest drawback for us was the onsite property management. At one point their pretty scary dog was in the hallway blocking the main house from the basement. It was about 20 minutes before they let the dog in at which point in their text communication with me she swore the dog had been with her the whole time. 4 of our group saw the dog and I had met the dog previously so I knew it was theirs.
The second issue arose when someone who seemed like they were on meth came and pounded on the back door for like 5 minutes looking for the upstairs neighbor and would not leave despite being told they had the wrong unit until they were let in upstairs.
Otherwise, the stay was great and the communication was handled fast via text. They were helpful when we needed a few extra things for the home.

A pleasant stay for our group of 8 (4 couples) at the mansion for 3 days. It's convenient to everything in Denver. Neighborhood is "gentrifying" and seems safe. On-street free parking is available and was fine, no tickets. Built in the 1880s, there are many exceptional architectural details in the building and it is furnished in period style, so really fun to stay in from that perspective. Bedrooms were comfortable, there is one bathroom up and one down in the main unit. We could have used some more items in the kitchen, such as there was only one soap pod for the dishwasher. We did find some plates in the cupboard that had gone through the dishwasher and had a little bit of caked on food on them that I rewashed (thus lower cleanliness score). Not a big deal but not what you'd expect for the price. There is a hefty surcharge if your group is over 5 people for a stay in this 6 bedroom unit and high "host charge”. Also, you do not rent the whole house. The caretakers live upstairs and are sometimes noisy. They also smoke marijuana, which you will smell in the unit. Late check in (4:00PM), early check out (10:00AM), owners were not flexible with check in time (I requested 2:00PM), which would have been helpful as our group was coming in from NM, NJ, CA, IL and NV. We had a good time, but I would not rebook.

We had a wonderful time here! Plenty of space for our group of nine.

Well situated for a downtown stay in Denver. The rooms were comfortable and nicely decorated. Loved the stained glass windows. For those looking, please be aware this is a grand old mansion, complete with the experience of stairs and shared bathrooms. For us, we appreciated it as just the right setting for our group of friends and family.

We had several ladies for a 60th bday get away! We had a great time! The house looks just like the pictures so as long as you know it’s old then ok! And hopefully they will mow the property soon! Lots of weeds ( especially if you park in the back ) Harry was easy to talk to and quick to respond !

Harry was very communicative and accommodating for our group of 8 friends. He was a perfect, amazingly friendly host! The house was perfect for us as everyone had plenty of their own space. It was very clean and very comfortable. The location makes it very easy to get to downtown attractions and it was easy to hop on the interstate and head west towards the mountains. If I were booking another group trip to Denver, I would absolutely check for availability here first before looking anywhere else.

Good times in Denver.
The nightly price is misconstrued as they tacked on $1000 for “additional guests” even though we had only the amount of people that the property lists it can take. Otherwise, great time, lots of sleeping places, pretty central location.

Great Girls Trip for NFL Game
The house was absolutely perfect for our group. Everyone had their own room for privacy, plenty of communal space. Perfect location to get all over Denver. Harry was FANTASTIC to work with — so easy to communicate with, always available for questions, and super flexible.

Gorgeous and majestic!!
My girlfriends and I stayed for my bachelorette party, and this place is truly gorgeous! The owner is super friendly and easy to reach. The floors were dusty upon arrival, and I'm not sure there's a 4th toilet. We didn't find one. Otherwise, great relaxing stay, and one of the best weekends of my life!!

For my son’s wedding
When my brother and I travel together with our families, there are 15 people. It always seems to be a challenge to find somewhere we can all fit. This house worked!!! Us older adults (the parents) stayed in the upstairs rooms while the young adults had the main floor and basement rooms. Even though there are only 4 showers for 15 people, we all managed to space the needs out and it worked. Also, everything we needed (dining, groceries, entertainment, etc) were all within a couple mile radius, some even walkable. I enjoyed staying in a house that had character in a neighborhood that had a personality.

We use home rentals for group business travel. This home was spacious with plenty of beds for our group of nine. The beds were comfortable and the common areas spacious. The porch wraps around and provides plenty of space to gather for a beer, or whatever. Two minor negatives you should be aware of before renting. Hot water is at a premium in this old house. Nine guests attempting to get ready over two hours really taxed the hot water. There also weren't enough towels, trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. For the price, the basic amenities should be provided.I'd recommend staying at the property and will consider it again. Be prepared to scoot over to Safeway for a few amenities that might come off as a little annoying considering other experiences at other properties.

Everything as Advertised & More
Excellent property for our party (8 of us), very responsive and flexible property manager, comfortable and spacious rooms. If I had to find a fault it would be that the parking can be a bit tight/unavailable at times but was not a big issue and that there appear to be long-term rental tenants on the top floor of the house that I was unaware of until getting there but we did not see them in the 4 days/3 nights that we were there and they use a different entrance/exit so it was not a huge deal but there are some connecting doors between their space and ours.

Golfing with friends
We were able too come to Denver to golf with friends and enjoyed our stay at the mansion. The accommodations were just what we needed, plenty of room and comfortable beds. The house has a few weird arrangements (e.g., main floor has a small bathroom and the kitchen sink has a divided basin, there is also a separate kitchen upstairs, etc.). Overall, our experience could not have been better.

Great Home, Great Location
Overall we were happy with our stay. We had plenty of room and it was in a great location! I was lucky enough to stay in the huge suite upstairs, which is basically an apartment of its own! The house was reasonably clean but not everyone in our group thought so. One thing that I wish I knew before we got there is that there are very few towels, no wash cloths and no kitchen towels so we had to buy our own as well as some cleaning supplies and garbage bags. I will say that the Check in and check out process was very easy! It was a very unique house and perfect for a large group!

Beautiful home, great location
The house was a beautiful Victorian, we had 12 staying and it accommodated us all perfectly. The location was great for getting to our downtown conference. The beds were very comfortable. Only downside was that the showers didn't have much power and there were no trashbags.. Other than that it was great and we would stay there again.

Location was great easy walk to restaurants and downtown.

Great location. Clean house. Plenty of space.
Stayed here with some family and friends while we were in town for a wedding. It is in a nice location. Just a short scooter ride to downtown and walking distance to some places too. The house is clean, and it was perfect for what we needed during our stay. Good size bedrooms and good number of bathrooms too. With plenty of space for larger groups I would recommend this mansion.

Bad
It was not a good stay the home was beautiful but I was not satisfied we did not receive full house like we were told and there were other tenants occupied the home and I was not informed that was the case the guy Kyle was very rude

Great place to stay in Denver, Centrally located
I stayed in the house for a long weekend with 4 friends. This is a large house with a lot of bedrooms, perfect for large families or groups of friends. It is close to Coors Field and downtown attractions. One of the bedrooms upstairs is actually a suite, in case you need separate living areas. If you have a car, you will have to park on the street, but we didn't have any issues and we were able to park right in front of the house. I definitely recommend this property and would stay there again.
