The location was amazing being on the ocean. Surrounded by great restaurants, extremely clean and the decor was beautiful.
We were 100% happy.

The Villa was absolutely stunning and so so clean.
Everything was perfect! There was nothing we did not like

Great villa that had everything required in an amazing location right on the beach.
It was hard to clarify if the two bedroom had the small pool or if it was the one bedroom. Either way there was a communal pool right at the front door which was fantastic!

We stayed in the 2 Bedroom villa and it was gorgeous! Right on the beach. Generous sized rooms/ beds are comfy each with own bathroom, has a kitchen with all amenities, dining table, lounge/tv..Has outside shower to cool off, beanbags to sit and watch the ocean, fisherman/boats and the day go by was lovely and relaxing. Short walk to restaurants and markets.
Open ceiling bathroom in one of the rooms with a curtain to cover was not to our appeal but it certainly didn't stop us enjoying our stay.

We couldn't have chosen a better place for our honeymoon. It was perfect. Really no complaints. You get more than you expect. Service was outstanding. 11 out of 10.

Set back from the road on the absolute oceanfront this property is absolutely stunning. We had the opportunity to also view the 2 bedroom villa that this host provides and it was also stunning - we will return with the family next time.

The perfect spot for a few days of complete relaxation. Right on the waterfront with the sound of rolling waves to rock you to sleep!

Was a great stopping point to east Bali.
The staff were welcoming and pleasent.
Even took me to the local medical centre for my chest cold.
Villa is right on a small black sand beach.
Breakfast was great cooked by staff.
This cant be helped but view was of a commerical ship anchored off shore.
Walking on the beach my feet were covered in oil.

I was given a lovely handmade flower lei by Ibu Suri, the villa caretaker, upon check-in.
There is a two bedroom villa and a one bedroom villa separated by the shared (villas & Catra homestay) pool area. I stayed in the two bedroom (pictured) which had comfy beds, high quality linens, fixtures, air conditioning, and en-suite bathrooms. There are privacy curtains to cover the sliding glass doors to each bedroom. The kitchen was fully stocked and had a water dispenser. Note: There isn’t a TV in the two bedroom villa. There is a homestay (empty at the time) that is on the public path from the main street to the villas. Overall, I didn’t feel the villa was as luxurious or private as portrayed in the photos.
Don’t forget to bring mosquito repellent.
There was definite lack of privacy. There is a public access road to the beach that runs along one side of the villa and there is a door that leads out onto that road. The door is locked, but around 10pm someone tried to open the door from the outside and continued to rattle the handle and laugh. Needless to say, I was quite startled and had trouble sleeping after that happened. Lights kept shining into the kitchen window. There were definitely people riding motorbikes down to the end of the access road and parking them near the villa to hang out, play music, and talk in that area (pictured) well after 11pm. There was a large gathering of people performing a ceremony (pictured) on the shore under my window and fisherman along the stoned T walkway out into the water well after sunset and into dinner and cocktail time on a Saturday night. Curtains would’ve been so helpful for privacy and many people marveled at the busty lamp that I had illuminated and quickly turned off when I realized people were gathering to see it. It was noisy with the front door open to keep cool.
The pool area (pictured) can be accessed by anyone and I saw more than 10 non-guests entering and leaving the area either to use the table and chairs or to access the sea via the steps between Sea Spray Villas. The homestay (Catra - tiled at the bottom of the pool) was empty so I knew they weren’t SSV guests. There is only a short plastic gated entrance to the villa and it offers little privacy or security if the doors of the villa are open. I locked eyes two men staring into the villa and it made me a bit uncomfortable.
The huge picture windows offer fabulous views of the sea, but there are no curtains to block sun, heat or prying eyes. There was a heavy & bulky folded privacy “screen” that was more cumbersome than useful. There is no AC in the family/living/seating room.

The location of the property is simply fabulous. Absolute sea frontage with peace and tranquility all around. The furnishings are of the highest standard and the facilities are completely western so that any traveller from any country will not want for anything in this property. Of particular note was the comfort of the bed and the array of entertainment equipment in the lounge. The bathroom is quite simply stunning and the considerate construction using glass panels means that you never ever lose wonderful views of the sea or the mesmerising local fishermen of Candidasa. I have stayed in this location for over 18 years and quite frankly this is a diamond in the rough. My only concern is that I would rather rate the property as completely awful to stop of the people going there so I can book there as soon as possible once more! Finally I need to comment on the quality of the staff who service. The apartment was clean thoroughly every single day by smiling and happy Balinese girls. We took advantage of the opportunity to have a fabulous massage every other day for a paltry figure from a local lady called Ketut. All I need from that it was simply a WhatsApp phone call to The property manager to organise anything we wished including transport. Finally of significant note is that the Wi-Fi service and signal is excellent, allowing screening of music without any issue. Overall I cannot recommend this place more highly.
Nothing of note.

The property has a good holiday kitchen and kitchen things, but there is no microwave
The property level has nothing to do with status 'luxury', the description on booking.com is not accurate. They have 2 villas and all the info is mixed up. 2 brd: In fact, the toilet and shower is in the bdr, with no windows. There are no a/c in the living room. There is no veranda. And the place has NO privacy. You ll be like in aquarium and everybody will steer at you from outside.
In addition to that nobody came for our check out, they just forgot.

Location was excellent - both for the oceanfront view from villa private verandah to ease of access to several nearby resorts for sundowners/dinner as well as short walk to ATM/supermarket/wide choice of shops, warungs and bar/café options (including Café Rouge). Excellent coffee across the road at Loaf (at other end of village Wacko Jacko - including fresh baked scones!)and highly recommended Warung Bintang for dinner with view over rice fields to the mountains. There are many other Hotel/small resort options many with sunset views.
Villa was most spacious for two adults; very comfortable bed with good reading lights (bedroom airconditioned - fan in the lounge area which was adequate with the verandah doors open and sea breeze). We didn't use the kitchen facilities but adequate crockery/cutlery/glassware (cooking plates/microwave provided) for light breakfasts and snacks including a good size fridge with well functioning freezer. Water cooler provided an appreciated touch.
A shared pool was just a few steps off the verandah with pool/beach towels provided.
Suri was extremely welcoming and driver Katuk organised our transfers. We thank owner Misha for his pre arrival welcoming messages/information which much appreciated
A semi outdoor bathroom is attractive BUT when there's a thunderstorm everything gets flooded.....as did the verandah with some leakage into the living area - everything does dry out overnight/quickly but a little inconvenient in the moment.
(Perhaps umbrellas could be provided at the villa?).
We may also have slightly misunderstood the property description in that we thought there were 2-3 other villas with the shared pool but Villa Sea Spray is approached via the Catra Hotel property (pathway past their accommodation) who also have access to the pool/dining table area BUT, hasten to add, that during our 5 day stay we only encountered one other person using the pool although there were often people sitting at the poolside table facility eating/talking loudly and with music which was a slight intrusion when sitting quietly reading on our verandah.

The property was very well built - nice bathroom, kitchen, lamps etc and the location was superb
Swimming pool was unclean things like hand tissues, curtains for hall as well and a wardrobe would enhance the experience
