This property is perfectly situated on Flathead Lake with amazing views. The Cabin is well equipped and ready to entertain. Lots of sleeping options with 3 separate cabins.

We loved meeting up with our family, with the lake right outside the front walkway. It was safe for the little ones to be on the beach as the water there is knee deep. The dock provided all the swimmers just what they wanted and the fishing was great in the evening.
We have many new happy memories of family times at the lake.

Loved it! Great communication and was exactly as advertised. Very comfortable and they thought of all our needs. Great little propane fire pit was wonderful after a cool evening dip in the lake right out the front door!

Great location and access to the lake. The new dock is wonderful.

We loved our stay at the Moose Lodge! We think everything was wonderful, as it reminded us of an old family cottage in Canada. The location, dock, and views are marvelous! It is a cabin, not a mansion on Flathead, so just realize it's about the lake life.

We had a great week! Overall it couldn't have been much better! It would've been helpful to have updated photos. The photos showed more gradual "beach" that we were really excited about with 3 grandkids under 2. There are large rocks where the beach was and there was no playing around there! We appreciated how stocked the cabins were: tons of towels and supplies! We are excited about visiting Flathead again someday...we're glad though that we were able to enjoy your wonderful gift before your prices go up. Thank you so much for sharing!

Beautiful location to spend the 4th of July with our family. The house is older however it had a lot of charm, it felt like you were staying at your grandparents home. The bunk houses were perfect for our young adults and again the location was absolutely beautiful. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could ever need including a crockpot, many spices, tons of pots and pans and a great grill on the pergola. The dock is beautiful and we enjoyed many days of fishing in fact my son-in-law caught a 11lb lake trout right from the dock along with the other guys catching a few other great fish. It’s close enough to Glacier National park that we were able to do a day trip. The only note of improvement I could give is the beds were a bit hard however everything else makes up for it. If we ever make it back to flathead we would love to stay here again.

We enjoyed the Moose Lodge. It was quaint and simple and had everything we needed. Flathead Lake is such a lovely spot and the cabins' location on the lake was perfect for accessing it. We brought a boat and a paddle board for exploring. Wild Horse Island was definitely worth a visit and one of the highlights of the trip!

We had a good time. The weather didn't co operate as much as we'd have liked. A couple things I'd like to point out (1) The listing shows the previous dock, which was down on the water. The new dock is at least a foot higher and is too far out of the water, also the steel "I" beams sticking out made docking and undocking very difficult. You'd cause major damage if you snagged one of those "I" beams trying to dock. (2) The listing shows "no pets" and yet in another section it says something about fees for pets...kind of confusing. In general we enjoyed our stay. We liked the rustic, quirky, funky atmosphere.

Check in process was easiest I've had. All necessary items were available. Beautiful view of Wild Horse Island. No A/C which was a bummer but an oversight on my part.

We just left and are already missing Moose Lodge. It was very clean and comfortable for our group of 8. The teens loved jumping off the dock and floating on the rafts and tubes provided. The grill outside is huge and was perfect for grilling for a large group. There were plenty of towels available and it was nice to have the washer and dryer available. The kitchen was well stocked. I suggest checking in and seeing what spices they have there before buying anything at the store. There are plenty of chairs for relaxing on the porch or the dock. The view is gorgeous! The manager/ owner was very quick to respond to any questions we had. The neighbors were also very friendly and had great suggestions... definitely check out the winery! The Idle Spur was a good spot for a close to home dinner and drinks,
very casual. For a fancier dinner we drove out to The Lodge at Lake Mary Ronan... great food and service! We will be back!

Moose Lodge is the perfect location to ‘get away from it all.’ Spent 2 fabulous weeks there with total of 9...plenty of space. View off the docks is hypnotizing, so many delectable changes in the course of 24 hours. Beds are very comfortable; great hot water, plenty of kitchenware etc. Wish a used kayak or canoe was there for use- would have made the visit off the charts memorable. Believe only reason why we didn’t catch fish due fact they were afraid of Texans:) Hope to return soon. Thanks Greg!

Comfortable, cozy log cabin with a great location on Flathead Lake and a wonderful dock!

We had an amazing time on this fantastic property! Right on the lake complete with a boat dock and pretty much everything one would need for a week on the lake! Amazing views too! Great sunsets and sunrises. Excellent location too! Short boat trips across the lake to some restaurants and a marina for boat gas in Big Arm! Can’t wait to come back!

The cabin was musty when we checked in. It must not have been used this year. Spiders and ants in the boat house, had to buy a bug bomb and use it.

I highly recommend this property, very cozy, great fishing right off the dock and plenty of space with fantastic views of the lake and mountains.

I am from Detroit and vacation annually at Flathead Lake in beautiful Montana.
I highly recommend the "Moose Lodge." We love to cook and enjoy the well stocked kitchen. New appliances, self cleaning oven, newer high end dishwasher, two refrigerator freezers, large barbeque grille, newer large capacity washer and dryer etc. And they all work!
The house has a newer sofa and lazy boy recliners. It was well maintained and clean upon our arrival. The property management team met us at the property.
Our group loves to hike, bike, sea kayak, boat, water ski, air-chair, etc. Glacier Park is a great day trip for hiking etc. This place is a 10 minute boat ride to famous Wild Horse Island State Park. We saw several Rocky Mountain Sheep but couldn't find the horses maybe next time.
We also like to sing Karaoke and there's a great Montana Grille restaurant place called the "Idle Spur" within walking distance of Moose Lodge.
If you are a boater you will love this place, its got a very large dock with room for 2 boats in their own slips. A public boat launch is in the town of Dayton next to the Dayton Yacht Club about 1/2 mile away just across the bay.
Some of the places we've stayed in the past were a long walk to the dock or the water and only had parking for one or two cars with no room for our boat trailers. We had to rent space for our boat trailers. Moose Lodge has room for 4 cars and two boat trailers.
We will definitely be going back to "Moose Lodge" in Dayton, Montana.

What a great place! I have vacationed before on Flathead Lake and have stayed on the east shore in different homes. We always bring our boats with us and usually have two families with two boats. Some of the challenges we've had in the past are high winds and big waves on the east shore.
Most homes we've stayed at have had older docks with only one slip and had a long walk from the lake to the house.
Moose Lodge is great when we stayed with our group we had room for both our boats and the dock is very large and we didn't have the big waves like we had on the east shore.
We had a party of 10 we had lots of room. The house had a well stocked kitchen with new appliances and two refrigerators. We stayed for a week and had lots of room to stock our food.
The house was very cleaned and well-maintained
I recommend the Moose Lodge its a great little "Rustic" place reminds me when I was small going to camp in the summer time. I live in California but grew up in Great Falls, Montana and used to go to girl scout camp in the summers in Augusta, Montana.

What a wonderful place to spend time with family and friends. Flathead Lake is such a beautiful Lake. When I was last there the water was crystal clear. I had friends from different parts of Montana come and share time with me.
We walked down to the Dayton Yacht Club to look at the sail boats and stopped off at the Mission Mountain Winery for wine tasting.
We fixed great meals. Moose Lodge has a great stocked kitchen. New appliances, cookware, outdoor barbecue grill and even moose dinner ware. After dinner we sat on the dock and watched the sunset.
On Sundays you can enjoy the sailboat races right off the dock.
If you need to do laundry there is a great washer and dryer. Plenty of towels available.
The lake views are spectacular from the living room and master bedroom. It is great to wake up to the beautiful sunrise and the sound of the water.
Moose Lodge is very convenient to leave in the morning and spend the day at Glacier Park. I have hiked back to Hidden Land and Avalanche Lake.
I have done day trips to the art galleries in Bigfork with the evening at the Bigfork Summer Playhouse.
It is very handy to go to Kalispell and Poulsen, plus great shopping in Missoula, Mt.
I would highly recommend planning a stay at Moose Lodge. It is a great place and the people in Montana are super.

if you are looking for a prefect vaction Moose Lodge is the place for you.
the first thing you see on arrival is the rustic lodge and cabins with a well manicured lawn The inside of the lodge is so comfortable with rustic theme throughout. I love the master bedroom it has sliding glass doors that open to the view of the lake.In the morning waking with the sun dancing on the beautiful Flathead is so amazing. During the day sitting on the docks watching the sailboats go by to evening sunsets over the lake. Making a bonfire at night sharing Heaven on Earth with family and friends. For me it has made lasting memories. I love this place and so glad to have spent time there. It is truly one of the most beautiful places in Montana. one more thing I think is important is the parking area for vehicles. I was surprised to see enough parking spaces for so many places to rent on the Flathead have very limited parking. Moose Lodge has the best of everything I highly recommend it.

Moose Lodge is a great place for a family reunion. I love the out buildings lots of privacy. Nice decor and new appliances reminds me of my house with all the stainless steel appliances.
We had five couples, lot the stocked kitchen with new cookware, and hardwood floors.
The big plus is the large dock we had two boats one 24 footer and one 21’ nice to have a large two slip boat dock with lots of room to hang out. The lights and power in the dock are a big plus.
When we were looking around places to rent on Flathead we saw lots of homes that had no parking or only room for one or two cars. We had four automobiles and parking was no problem.
Our group loved picking fresh wild raspberries every morning and there’s a cherry tree on the property as well we were lucky to be able to pick wild Flathead lake cherries for breakfast
We had a few golfers in the group and they played several courses in the area as close as 20 minutes away in at Polson Country Club. Their favorite was Eagle Bend in Bigfork 30 minutes away.
We will be back for sure for a stay at Moose Lodge

Spending time on the gulf coast in Florida, heading Northwest to Montana is a great vacation change.
If you are not climbing Everest, and you like to golf, hike and fly fish, you need to check out the place we found at Flathead Lake. Last summer we vacationed at Flathead Lake with a group of friends; which was amazing at the “Moose Lodge”, which we abbreviated and called the "ML". When you are their, you will find out why it is called the "Moose Lodge" and the wildlife will also amaze you. The "ML" worked great with our large group; lots of room with a cozy feeling.
With our group from different locations, parking was not an issue for our four cars. If you check out other properties, you will understand why the "ML" works for a large group, as other places around the lake had one room and parking two or more cars could be an issue.
You have to experience the dock with it large beams; the people who built it knew what they were doing. When you walk on the dock you are officially on Flathead Lake, and you understand what clear lake water is all about. With the sun shinning, you can see your fishing lure at quite a depth. The dock is a gathering place as well, with room for friends boats as well as other people who joined us. At night you can sit back on the dock and watch the stars, with water all around you.
"ML" was our “Base Camp” aka "BC" with all of the adventures:
Jack Nicklaus designed the championship Eagle Bend Golf Course, which has views of Flathead Lake.
The fishing guide from Big Fork Montana knew where to catch the Mackinaw, "Lake Trout", as you will hear the locals call them.
Fly fishing and hiking were had at nearby Glacier National Park. Next time we are going to ride motorcycles through the mountain canyons on my way to "ML", and ship the golf clubs.
If you want a great place to vacation, at a beautiful place in the world, stay at the "Moose Lodge" you can call it "ML" if you want.
No need to climb everest, "Base Camp" is waiting.

Ahhhhh…so peaceful and the view is absolutely magnificent!! As I look at the pictures from this website, they take me right back to Moose Lodge. 6 adult friends made the trip from North Carolina to experience Montana and we could not have picked a better place to stay! There is something so special about the simplicity of a cabin and getting back to the basics. My husband and I stayed in the guest cabin which was very comfortable. We cooked fantastic meals in the very well stocked kitchen and in the evening we pulled our chairs out to the end of the dock with a glass of wine to enjoy the breathtaking sunset and then anticipate the star filled skies. Mornings we rose as early as possible to catch the unbelievable sunrise with a cup of coffee and a blanket. Writing this makes me smile and homesick to go back!!
clean; well-maintained; owner was very easy to work with; would recommend to anyone who appreciates beauty and simplicity

We had a great time at Moose Lodge - three couples. We flew into Missoula for a UM football game then drove up to Flathead Lake. We spent many nights on the dock or gathered around the fire watching the stunning views at sunset while sipping cocktails! So Peaceful!! We also enjoyed walking down to the Idlespur and meeting the locals. We used the cabin as our base camp while visiting Whitefish, Bigfork, and Glacier. Plenty of room for all and a great Montana atmosphere - loved it.

Loved the room for everyone to sleep (14), plus the privacy away from the highway and no noise. Wild raspberries ripe in late July, fishing off the dock! Caught trout using Jimmy Dean frozen links - better try it as you watch the sun go down sipping your favorite cocktail off the 2 slip dock.
You can see about 25 feet down from the dock - super clean water. We could launch our boats at Dayton @ a mile away.
Great view of Cromwell Island and regatta sail boat races, plus Dayton Yacht club.
Two large fridges for groceries, newer washer and dryer, and everything works!
Mosey down to the 'Spur for a drink and some country and western dancin.
Going back to the Moose Lodge next year for sure.
