We booked a room that overlooks the river and gorge, spectacular views from balcony. The first hotel I have stayed in with two shower units in the large shower cubicle meaning two people can shower at once with their own settings!
Good breakfast served with a large selection of fruits, pastries, juices and tea/coffee. Scrambled eggs served for UK visitors.... ;-)
Like most Spanish towns parking is restricted, but at this hotel there is a secure 24h public carpark directly opposite. Pricey at 21€/day, but well worth it for a short stay.
There was a humming sound (probably a pump - not our aircon) external to our room that came on every minute or so and ran for about three seconds 24 hours/day. Not a problem during the day, but annoying when sleeping.

L’habitació amb vistes a la muntanya era àmplia, confortable i molt nova . Les vistes excepcionals

The staff were wonderful - they changed my room when the wifi wasn't strong enough to connect for my work and the view from the second room was astounding. Everyone was so pleasant and helpful, even when I had to work on my computer in the lobby for long stretches. Location in Cuenca's Old City was wonderful, too - very close to all fabled, historic sites
Wifi wasn't strong enough to connect to on the third floor, though I understand this may have been due to the extreme heat.

A simple, plain room with modern furnishings and separate shower room. No bath as we had originally requested. Stunning views from balcony. No tea or coffee-making facilities in room. No mini-bar or fridge. Overnight car parking expensive - £23 equiv - in adjacent covered park. Only locals permitted in nearby free parking area. For those with mobility problems the location does present issues of access to the local attractions, bars, restos and museums etc - steep hill in either direction.

Fantastic location, easy to find, quiet bedroom.
The breakfast was OK, but there was no chilled cold water, the bread was tired, and the dining room a bit dark and depressing. We thought the staff could have been more welcoming - for instance, having ready clear instructions on where to park and more importantly where not to park. The bar was not at all attractive and no obvious outside space.

nice room in center, very good value for money, parking next door

Very central yo old town
No tea and coffee making facilities in the room or fridge
4.1
Room size, location, general hotel decor, cleanliness, reception staff. Good breakfast spread and quality. Good breakfast crew especially the senior staff.
Didn't like the cafeteria young staff's attitude as well as price to quality and service ratio. Smell in the bathroom perhaps due to rusty pipes? Also for the €30 price of using the spa, you only get 1hr of use of a faintly warm sauna, adequate jacuzzi, and no sooap/shampoo/lotion. Turkish bath unusable.

the location is perfect for exploring the area. Our room has a fantastic view and was very comfortable.

Best view in the building! Restaurant quite upmarket but superb with thoroughly professional staff.
Paintwork and flooring in bedroom need some attention.

Location is amazing, the best to explore the town but also amazing surrounding nature, close to many restaurants and yet quiet and boutique feeling. We got a room with stunning view. Room are comfortable, clean, not the biggest but absolutely sufficient. Restaurant attached to the hotel is top class.

A fabulous location with a spacious room and gorgeous view. Very close to the heart of the 'casco historico'. A great base to move around from.
The hotel should leave the password for the WiFi in the room. My husband needed it late at night and had to get dressed again to go down to reception to get it.

Fabulous views over the gorge from our third floor room. The double headed shower was also great.
Minor things were worn and need repair/updating:
- one elevator was not operating properly;
- poor wifi in our room;
- awful pillows;
- worn couch.
