Good, beer, staff were helpful
Bit of a building site as the outside is undergoing renovations, inside is in need of Reno too

I never stayed… but the sight of the building and going to the room made me feel unsafe and uncomfortable.
There are construction works going on and the mangers could have said so travelers decide if they are comfortable

If u r travelling with a family,please don't go here.Absolutely bad experience !
-Reached the place and were surprised (shocked) at the exterior of the hotel.Nothing like in the picture. The walls were off and broken. The staff said there was some renovation going on.But a mention of this on the website would have been honest. Rather than letting a person book based on dishonest pictures.
- And before we can figure out where the entrance is there was some drunk guys at the entrance and one of them was shouting and literally chased us. The staff gave football as a reason for this. He said football match was going on. and somehow that justified the entrance being made unsafe by drunk people.
- We were then told because we didnt have a credit card we would not be allowed into the hotel. This was at 9 PM. We had travelled all day and were told to go and look for an ATM to get cash for deposit. My phone was almost out of battery and we were terrified wondering where to go and look for an ATM from. I explained to the staff that I had already messaged the hotel saying I didnt have a credit card and that they didnt tell me I would need deposit cash and I didnt where to go. And at least if he would refund so I could find another place and he refused. So we were stuck without a credit card and not knowing where to go for cash (ATM) plus the hotel being unwilling to cancel. And the staff basically just said those were the rules. Not willing to do anything about the hotel's error is not informing me about the cash deposit. We had to carry our luggage and take my daughter and go out at 9PM and look for an ATM to get cash. I had to pay for the hotel's mistake if not informing us about the cash deposit.
- We booked a room with the Thames view. The room did have a good view but right outside of our window there was a group of men sitting and drinking and chatting loudly. We had to close our curtains and sit inside. Informed staff and nothing was done. no point of the...

Receptionist was excellent. Kept her calm whilst dealing with a difficult customer. (NO NOT ME!!!) She was very professional and kept her cool.

Nothing, run down, derelict looking, there was a drug dealer in the carpark though who offered me marajuana which I should have taken so could sleep through the prostitute banging her customers upstairs - he also left his number on my bloody car window!
Everything! Hated it! Tried to get my money back instantly but was refused! Women do not stay alone it was horrendous! Brought in my dog to feel safer but he was kicked for barking at the prostitutes customers

Did not stay at property
Absolutely nothing rude staff unprofessional receptionist who stick up his nose very bad attitude and an apparent manager who smelt of alcohol and very rude and unapproachable.

There was parking, and I had privacy, peace, and quiet. The shower was nice and hot, and the room was clean and quite spacious. The storage heater worked a treat, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were very polite. The soundproofing worked a treat. I didn't miss not having a river view because there was provision for that near reception. If I ever had to be around Purfleet, I would happily stay here again in the same room.
The sink's hot water tap was ice cold, so I had to use the shower head when I wanted to wash my face. The chair in my room was unsteady so I couldn't use my laptop at the desk. The toilet tissue was of very poor quality thin and tore easily, leaving bits sticking to the skin. There were no bedside lamps.

Good for the money and clean

Had a weird smell. Gaps under your room door were huge. Corridor lights flickered. Stains all over the walls. Ended up sleeping in the car. Grotty place

The location is good for food choices and the price of the room is cheap. The professionalism of the receptionist was also good.
The building itself is very old and had scaffolding around it the whole time I was there. The rooms are basic and traffic noises are loud if the window is left open during your stay.

Nice staff
Place very run down and not very clean at all. There was mould on the ceiling, dirt and debris around the edges of the room and outside the hotel, bed had bits of food on the matress although sheets were clean. It's just very run down and in need of a desparate renovation the pictures shown on booking.com are not true to this hotel. Sadly we won't stay here again and if it wasn't the fact that we only booked one night I deffinately would have looked for an alternative to stay at for the rest of our trip. Overall very disappointed was dirty and run down.

There was no food at all ,We were told we could order takeaway and eat in the bar but they could not provide plates knifes or forks. Shower was a waste of time the water came out the end I was told that they had upgraded me i hate to think what the other room would of been like

Advertised as with a restaurant. Not true and the only other option in walking distance is a kebab shop. Not great for breakfast.
Also no lamp in the room, just one main light.
