About this house rental
Bear cabin is built with douglas fir log handcrafted with a unique and modern design. The vaulted ceiling and the old-fashioned pine t&g create this rustic and cozy cabin to enjoy. This cabin is like having your own private oasis to relax in after spending a day hiking around. The hot tub is wonderful to relax and rejuvenate. The Bear Cabin is comprised of 3 queen size beds (sleep 6 adults) with 1 private bedroom, loft bedroom with 2 queen size beds, 1 bathroom, fully stocked kitchen, covered porch, fire pit, and hot tub.
The cabin has full amenities includes essentials, a hairdryer, hangers, linens, towels, kitchen condiments, and spices. This cabin is smoke-free and pet-free. Sorry, we do not accept pets due to allergies.

We loved this cute cabin in Healy! It was a cozy place with a nice backyard, a fire pit and plenty of chairs to hang out. It was well stocked and clean. Great location to all shops and sightseeing through Denali. The 49th State brewery is within walking distance. And best of all… we saw the Northern Lights!

What a great cabin! Quiet yet convenient. It’s a 15-20 minute drive to Denali National Park and only a 10 minute walk to the 49th State Brewery or 3 Bears grocery store. The cabin’s kitchen is well stocked. The cabin had plenty of room for my family to spread out and relax after long days of hiking. Speaking of relaxing, the hot tub was perfect for tired muscles at the end of the day. My only suggestion is to bring sleep masks for anyone sleeping in the loft as it never really got dark while we were there.

The home is located in a secluded area. You can hear the road faintly but don’t see any cars. Located very close to 49th State Brewing which was delicious. Easy quick access to Denali as well. Beds are comfortable and home is well equipped.

Even better than described
My family and I had a great 3 night stay at this property. When we arrived, it was immaculately clean, kitchen was well stocked with basics, and there was plenty of space for our 3 kids to spread out. Owner was very responsive and we had 0 issues. We loved that the cabin was such a short distance from the park but still had a remote feel. Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay! 10/10. The cabin was super cute and cozy and met my very high standards of clean. The owner stages it like a hotel- drawers were empty, no family pictures, etc., but it was fully stocked with coffee, tea, kitchen stuff. The hot tub had built in blue tooth speakers but most importantly... it was hot and clean when we arrived. Location was great. You’re very secluded (We never heard anyone and definitely couldn’t see anyone from the yard) but you’re only 10 minutes from Denali National Park and 3 minutes to a grocery and wine/liquor store. It had a trunk full of games, Cornhole/bags, and bikes for use. We just loved our stay. Everything felt new and clean but super cozy and it felt great getting in that hot tub with a glass of wine after hiking in Denali.

Great location!
Our family of 4 enjoyed a 3 night stay at the Cabin. It is in a perfect location, close to Denali National Park, but away from the more touristy entrance. We enjoyed being able to use the kitchen (well stocked!) to prepare our meals and relax in the hot tub which was very welcoming on the rainy days. Those staying in the loft will want to take the advise of wearing a sleeping mask if the Alaskan midnight sun is a concern. Three Bears Grocery in Healy was totally fine for shopping. Didn't see the need to stock up at another location before driving in. Would certainly stay again - thank you!

Cabin was super clean and cute! Beds were comfy and there was plenty of space for our family of four. Good dinner and breakfast right across the road. Snowshoe hares in the yard (whole time we were there!) were an extra bonus!

Hot tub was a plus. It was warmer while we were there but a big fan was provided which was nice for sleeping. Really enjoyed the cabin look and feel. Great quiet place to stay by Denali. Check in and out was a breeze.

Loved this location and lovely cabin. Secluded yet near everything. Hot tub was a real plus. Brewery across the street was nice. Three Bears grocery and gas down the road was great for shopping, nice selection and good price on gas.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy cabin. This cabin offered everything that you would need and more. It was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. The location is amazing as it is very close to everything but very secluded. I would highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful updated comfortable cabin
This was an awesome place to stay just about 10-15 min outside the entrance to Denali National Park. It was more than comfortable here with everything we could possibly need. We had 4 adults and there was plenty of space to hang out in the evenings. The hot tub was an added bonus. Thanks Yvonne for allowing us to use your beautiful cabin!!

Denali Retreat Cabin was perfect for our stay!
Our stay in Denali Retreat Cabin in early July was perfect. We had two couples which was the perfect size for only one bathroom. The outdoor hot tub was an added bonus. One evening we had a moose and her calf wonder right thru the property. It was an amazing sight! We would definitely stay here again.

Northern Lights Cabin
Great cabin for watching northern lights while keeping warm. No trees to block your view, northern windows to watch incoming wisps of northern lights, wrap-around porch to get unobstructed view, and a warm cabin to return between lulls. During early-November conditions and weather had about a 30% chance of seeing a good show, therefore be sure to stay long enough. During winter, only 2 restaurants are open. Buy groceries at Fairbanks/Anchorage before arriving because limited selection and high food prices in Healy. and currently no supermarkets, but I hear that may change soon.
Great cozy cabin. Fast wifi and bluetooth speakers for streaming music. Yvonne and significant other were great hosts because they made sure we had enough water, heating oil, and other supplies. You can't go wrong here in the winter with northern lights and snow hiking in nearby Denali National Park.

Handy, well out-fitted cabin for an Alaska adventure
Very nicely finished cabin in Healy, Alaska just 15 minutes from Denali National Park. It served our family of five very well. We regretted not being able to stay longer. There is much to do in the area and this cabin makes an excellent staging place for all sorts of adventures, and then provides all the comforts of home, as well as a hot tub, when you get back for the day. There is everything you need for cooking and relaxing. (Great beer across the street and this cabin even has the growler to bring it home.) Yvonne gives very clear instructions on getting there and getting settled. She also provides helpful advice for what to bring to Alaska and ideas for area highlights. It would be fabulous in winter, too!

Six adults rented the cabin for four nights. We were tight but it worked. We cooked each night and the kitchen was well stocked. Hot tub was a fun bonus. We were there for Denali and the distance was perfect. 15 minutes tops to the visitors center. The cabin does not get dark in the summer with all the lovely windows, so plan on sleep masks or putting towels over windows. And being across the road from 49th state brewery was an added bonus.

Lovely little cabin sited between Denali Village and Healy. Very convenient to the National Park and all the amenities nearby yet secluded enough that you felt away from it all. My wife and children enjoyed watching the snowshoe rabbits we saw around the cabin. Everything in the cabin was as expected. I would consider staying here again!

The cabin is just perfect! It's exactly what I imagine when I think about a cabin in the woods. You are still within 10 minutes of the action, but all by yourself in the cabin. Although, you can be to the 49th State Brewery within a minute or two. Everything is new and clean. Spotless. It is beautifully decorated. Plenty of places to sit around and visit. There are lots of hooks to hang jackets, gloves, etc. There are towels/wash cloths for each person staying, plus extra for the hot tub. There is a hairdryer for use plus soap, shampoo, and conditioner in the shower. Speakers for our music. The hot tub was great. The instructions are very clear on what to do with the hot tub. The check in and check out instructions were very clear. We loved everything about this cabin and would use it again if we were to return.

This spacious 2 bedroom home was clean and comfortable. Appeared to be brand new. Wood interior is beautiful. Enjoyed the redwood deck and hot tub. Well stocked kitchen. Recommend addition of alarm clocks in bedrooms and dish drain rack for drying dishes. Overall were enjoyed Denali Retreat Cabin and would definitely stay here again.

Came to Denali area w/ friends from IL and it was just the right size for the four of us to have our own space. Thankful for no TV but we did hook up to the sound system. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen modern and clean and the bathroom is an efficient use of space. Appreciate the soap/shampoo/condition dispenser and the large parking area to unload. We didn't use the hot tub but will when we return. Great location and access to park and restaurants (we love 49th State.) Next time we will bring bag chairs and hang out around the fire. If anyone is a light sleeper like I am, bring ear plugs and a sleep mask as the sun really doesn't set up this way!
