The queen size bed was really two separate twin beds together. Should be one mattress for the price you pay on the room. Their was so little airflow in room 619, it should just come with a couple fans.

The hotel was lovely, the views absolutely incredible, but it was the desk and breakfast staff that blew us away with their friendliness!
Champagne breakfast with all sorts of continental options, and excellent coffee!
Large rooms, hotel porter to fetch you from the gondola, beautiful indoor swimming pool and sauna area and a very good restaurant.
Parked at Stechelberg and it cost $20 for two nights, the gondola costs $11 from Stechelberg to Murren.
Highly recommend walking down to Grimmelberg from Murren, only about 3km and on a small tarred road but stunning views. Gondola from Grimmelberg to Stechelberg then only $6.
Couldn’t fault it

We.came with my dog and they treated us very well. They had put a bed in the room and a bowl. They would prepare an table and the lounge for us so we can eat with him.

The staff and owners went above and beyond our expectations. They were very helpful with all of our needs and questions. They met us at the top of the cable car late at night to pick us and our many bags up without even telling us - what a nice way to begin our stay. The breakfasts were great with a variety of options and I especially loved the self serve smoothie bar! Loved the hotel amenities including the fun pool and relaxing saunas. Special thanks to Suzanna and Carla for their exceptional hospitality and kind hearts. We hope to be back to this gem again soon!
We suggest adding some bathroom products.

Fantastic location with a beautiful view.
Very nice sauna and relaxing room.
Breakfast to be improved, every morning the hot plates were always empty :(
I don't like carpets in my room as I am allergic to dust.

The location was good and the staff was simply amazing!
It was a challenge for me due to the stairs required to enter the hotel and the snow. However, once inside it was lovely.

- the James Bond suite was a cool surprise
- the view to Jungfrau, Moench, and Eiger was exceptional
- the pool was great and the saunas were modern and nice
- easily moved dvd player useful for watching bond movies in bed
- 2 bathrooms, one with a cool tub
- location, literally across from the train station, 600m from the schilthornbahn
- the pool had extra chlorine, perhaps a covid precaution

This was probably the most memorable stop on a three-week road trip through the Alps. The room was much more spacious than imagined, the shower had excellent water pressure, and the bed was extremely comfortable even with my lower back pain. But the real star of the show was the VIEW; I’d visited Mürren before, but nothing prepares you for that silent awe when your step onto the balcony and stare across to those mountains as the light (or moonlight) shifts and the fog gently flows through the valley below. I barely slept in that (amazing) bed because I spent so much time mesmerized by what was right outside the window. And that’s just the room! I could go on forever about the pool and spa facilities (I received the single best massage of my life, both the massage itself and the spiritual discussion I had with the masseuse before and after; it was an *experience*), the food both at breakfast (immense spread, great coffee, and those views!!) and dinner (I was planning to go to another restaurant in town at some point during my three nights but I just kept coming back to the hotel restaurant, it was that fabulous — and I met some incredibly lovely fellow diners during those dinners, the setting is very convivial). Finally and most importantly: every single person who works there is professional and accommodating beyond belief, but what takes it to the next level is their warmth and kindness. I traveled there by myself and within seconds during check-in, I felt welcomed as if into a family. Then, over the next few days interacting with them at reception or during/after a meal, there was always that extra indescribable *something* that made me feel so comfortable and happy to be there, and actually a bit sad when it came time to leave! Wonderful, magical, perfect.
