A bit disappointing

Close to station which was handy for a pit stop and onward travel .

The room had just sheets as bedding , no duvet. No Bin in the room and no shower gel. WiFi didn’t work .Almost like a hostel and the room hadn’t been finished off. We mentioned this at check out and got a Shrug off the shoulders and not even a sorry . Was a bit disappointed - not even an offer of a coffee or drink . It wasn’t cheap as was during the Euros so we were expecting a bit more .

Alles in allem gut

Im Badezimmerbereich roch es nach altem Zigarettenrauch. Vermutlich war hier früher ein Raucherzimmer. Bei der etwaigen zwischenzeitlichen Renovierung wurde es wohl verabsäumt, hier diese alten Gerüche zu eliminieren.

Wegen Renovierung Umquartierung in ein anderes Hotel ohne Vorab-Benachrichtigung

Bei Ankunft an der Rezeption wurde mir relativ nüchtern mitgeteilt, dass man mich wegen Renovierungsarbeiten im B&B Süd einquartiert habe. Eine Benachrichtigung vorab hatte nicht stattgefunden. Dann wurde ich noch zu Fuß geschickt. Es sei nicht weit. Und das bei Regen. Es waren auch nur 200m, aber im Regen unangenehm. Von der Autofahrt hatte man mir abgeraten. Dabei Stand mein Auto vor dem B&B Nord. Ich hätte nur um den Bahnhof fahren müssen und wäre nahezu trocken im B&B Süd angekommen.

The location of the hotel just next door to the station and in front of the pedestrian zone. Very clean shower and bathroom

No security for the lift, in other b&b hotels the room card needs to be presented inside the lift. No hot water kettle to make tea in the room...

Perfect place for a good price and location 😉

Hizan at the recepción was extremly helpfull and polite. Locación perfect Room perfect Very very clean Didn't try breakfast but looked great... Great place for the amazing price.!!!

I was upset at the bad rating the hotel had .... And very surprised to find it so nice and clean. I think price relation to comfort was perfect. For me at least 8 rating!!!!

Horrible staff, no ID checking they were handing out room keys without double checking IDs and changed our room without even telling us mid way through our trip

Pretty nice inner garden where you can have breakfast or any meal you bought outside. Possibility to park car for 10 Euro on premises.

the room is very-very small, almost impossible to stay there together, no closet or wardrobe, a hotel for 1 night only, very stiff air and aircon doesn't work well

Disappointing

The location was good. It was right next to the Duisburg Central station.

The price and the staff was not really cooperative. Also the breakfast options were very limited as not worth the cost which was not inclusive of the price for the room.

The room was clean and quiet. The hotel is located in a central position. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The photos are from B&B South. The A/C was not working. The ceiling had a hole in it. The oversized pillows and the bed were uncomfortable

This company have taken the piss on me. They marketed this hotel with photos as being new but when I arrived it was a 25 years worn out hotel. It is false marketing and I would never pay that amount of money for this hotel. I ordered a nice and new hotel but got a old and dirty hotel room…. False marketing

The hotel room was okay and the hotel is very conveniently located next to the entrance to the train station.

When I arrived the lady at the front desk made me wait a long time just talk to her. She was a bit rude.

Great location but too few staff

Great location, great price.

It’s really run with a skeleton staff. I arrived at 11 pm after a flight and there was no one there. (Hotel is meant to be 24 hour reception). Sign on counter said staff member was gone temporarily but I had no way of knowing if or when they would get back. Calling the hotel just made the phone ring in front of me on the empty desk. There was literally no staff member to be found. Had to wait 10 to 15 minutes wondering if I would have to sleep on the floor of the reception, receptionist finally showed up when I was on the phone with Booking.com customer service. He had had to go and do something outside and they only have one person working. So it’s cheap but you get what you pay for. I don’t eat breakfast there because last time they only had one person working in the Hall restaurant and they don’t have time to check things that are ABOUT to run out , because you constantly are telling them about things that have already run out. so the whole breakfast process is hard work and not worth it.

Convenience

The hotel is conveniently located in the central station, so it was great for this trip, as I needed to use the trains often. Also, it's just a few minutes walk to the city center, where all the restaurants and touristic stuff are. The room was large and clean. Had all the necessary things you would expect to find in a hotel. It actually had a terrace too. The staff was very helpful and polite. The breakfast had plenty of options to choose from.

Due to being so close to the central station, there were many homeless people nearby the entrance.
