Location was good
The room was advertised as soundproof, this was clearly not the case as we never slept a wink all night due to noise from adjacent rooms and noise from the room above, constantly banging doors in the hallway and loud noises during the night. The changing rooms in the pool area were partially closed off including the showers so no where to shower after coming out of the pool. Staff at the front desk weren’t very helpful and stood staring at a computer screen for 5 minutes before acknowledging my presence at the counter

The Staff were all lovely, the room was big and the bed was comfy, the location was great as it was close to EK's city centre, the facilities (although not tried) were looking really good, clean and welcoming.
The temperature in the lobby, breakfast area and bar was not comfortable at all (we wanted to visit the bar a few nights however we were turned off as we were freezing (to be mentioned that it was snowing at the time of our visit and the temperatures were below 0), there was a hesitation for changing towels and toiletries and we had to ask in the middle of our weekly stay for staff to give us fresh ones.

the room was comfortable
Lack of staff in Restaurant and the lounge staff fleeting from one to the other 50 minutes to get one course meal from the kitchen, and the standard of food was not great. Guests at a company party continually running up and down corridors and being noisy, and to cap it off we were stood in the car park in the rain when the fire alarm sounded at 03:30 am due to some guests smoking in the corridor or the bedroom bedroom.

Breakfast and swimming pool.
Restaurant always ran out of food so the menu was very limited most evenings.

Check in was terrible we had to change rooms 3 times I was almost going to have to sleep in car worst experience ever after nearly 12 hours travelling
My dad was in a wheelchair I had made this point at time of booking and that we wanted a twin room ended up on 3 rd floor with a double room. Went down to them told them I book a twin room to be but in the second floor to get to the room had to push a wheelchair down stairs any dope would know that can’t happen they were telling me that’s all available so we we’re leaving they said they had a room on first floor if that was any good then met family that had also booked so we could catch up went for dinner that was as bad ordered starter comes last and the soup was definitely scrap a pit and add bit of water and didn’t get for a hour after was to come my dad and cousin had ordered scampi half hour after they ordered they came out and said there was none so had to order again in all was hour and have waiting on main course on which I had my main had to ask where the soup was to get what I called dish water a half hour later eheosll was finished

The location was very convenient for us. We needed to get to Christ the King Church for a funeral just off the Carmunnock Road.
We didn't have any problems.

Once again we were met and greeted by helpful, friendly staff. Due to Booking.com erroneous documenation, we were expecting a deal on price of evening meals, but a breath of fresh air named Zoe got to the bottom of the issue and we were accommodated wonderfully well.
there seemed to be a misleading message within the till software which stopped us being able to order from the restaurant menu in the bar area, which we had to use for meals as we were accompanied by our greyhound. Zoe sorted this out for future users after our discussions, too.

Friendly staff. Swimming pool. Large bedrooms. Dogs allowed. Good breakfast
Had booked a table for my Dads birthday dinner for 7.00. We still hadn’t been served by 8.00. Had young children one who is diabetic. When the dinner arrived the fish was undercooked. We didn’t want to complain as it took so long to arrive. The ladies that served us were lovely and none of this was their fault. We have had dinners their previously because it is convenient for us as a family but it was slow service then too. So having dinner there as a family will not be an option for us next time. We stay at this hotel a lot due family visits.

The window / patio door and balcony were filthy, hadn’t been cleaned in probably ten years. All the other rooms on our floor were in the same filthy condition. I took a photo of our car parked less than 10 meters from the hotel and it wasn’t possible to read the numberplate. I will include a photo of the cloth I used to clean the filthy window.
The man staying in the next room to us had access to our balcony because the handle of his window/ patio door had been removed. The bathroom extractor fan didn’t work. The tv didn’t work for the first two days. The toilet cistern ran all night on two separate nights having been ‘repaired’ in between. The wooden balustrade around an ornamental pond has spaces up to 150 mm, the building regulation is 100 mm to prevent a child from climbing through. This should be cordoned off immediately !!!

The size of the room was really good. Not very common to have such a big room, especially in a dog-friendly hotel. The decor was really nice and up-to-date, including bathroom. The room had absolutely everything we needed. Really happy with it.
The bed was just a bit too bouncy, making it slightly less confortable than I would have expected. Another point to improve, is the cleaningness of the bathroom near the shower basin edges.

Food good Staff extremely helpful all round good place to stay
Would be great with an outdoor seating area
