A few important notes before booking:
Summer rentals (July/August/First half of September) are week-long from Saturday to Saturday.
- The bunk house is not a 4 season abode, meaning that once it starts freezing at night we have to close and winterize it (no water or electricity and antifreeze in the toilets). This means that after Columbus Day (the beginning of October) to Memorial Day (the beginning of June) it is not available for your use. This means that the home only sleeps 9 from Columbus Day to Memorial Day.
Memorial Day to Columbus Day:
Accommodates: 13
Bathrooms: 3.5
Bedrooms: 5
Bed: 9
Rest of the year:
Accommodates: 9
Bathrooms: 2.5

- The dock extension and the watercraft are also only available from Labor Day to Columbus Day.
- As a historic 150-year-old home in a rural setting, guests should anticipate some “old home” issues as well as encounters with local fauna, including bugs, rodents, deer, and the enchanting calls of loons. Additionally, please be prepared for occasional power outages and keep in mind that the region experiences frequent rainfall, but these are all part of the unique charm of Northern Maine :)
-This is not a party house; considerate behavior is expected out of respect for nearby and full-time resident neighbors who value their peace and quiet.

This place was so lovely! It was perfect for our large group which included 6 kids. Lots of different hang out spaces, many games, large dining table and a big dock for the kids to jump off. It was well appointed with everything we needed for our week. We didn't have great weather but we didn't care. We still swam every day. It was beautiful and we can't wait to go back!

Great location house very clean and well organized and supplied. Especially appreciated night lights in strategic places- great for a new house in the dark! Fabulous dock!’

The camp was clean and had a great view of Rangeley Lake. The weather wasn't great but the camp had plenty of activities to have fun inside. Was a great place to hang out and relax with friends.

This house offers the lake view which is ineffably vibrant. Besides the beautiful lake, this lodge is prefectly located in the Lakes and Mountains region with magnificent mountain ranges, glacial lakes, and waterfalls. We also appreciate the comfortable living, rustic design and many unique qualities that this house has to offer.

Great stay with extended family. All is as represented. Really enjoyed extended views of the lake and fall colors. Use of the canoes and kayaks was a huge plus.

We had two families of four in our party and this property was perfect. There was plenty of room in the main house and the additional space in the bunkhouse was fun for the kids to have their own space.
On sunny days, we had a lot of fun with the kayaks, paddleboards, and we rented a water ski boat.
On rainy days, we had the ping pong table, the foosball table, and plenty of room so we were not on top of each other.
The town of Rangeley surpassed our expectations as well. There was a great grocery store, a good number of really good places to eat (Parkside & Main was a standout), and a really fun bowling alley/games/bar place (Moose Alley).
All in all, we had a truly excellent vacation. We all agreed that we would rent here again.

This a great property. Owner very responsive to texts. We had a plugged bathroom sink, and he had someone there within a few hours to fix it. Beautiful property right on the water.

third time I stayed her with my family. Love the updates and the bunkhouse. Owner definitely improves every year that add to the experience. Thank you for making this property available. And for the little touches of board games, puzzles, ping pong table, kayaks, paddle boards etc. too many to name.

My family & friends traveled to a different destination every year for the past 15+ yrs because we don’t want to have a “repeat vacation”.
After staying at Lakeside lodge everyone said they would definitely repeat vaca here. This was the most relaxing vacation we ever had & we loved every minute of it! Words cannot express how overwhelmed we were by the beauty and peacefulness of this getaway. It was easy to put down the laptops, tablets, & cellphones in favor of the clean air & views.
All the amenities kept all of us busy w/ some unforgettable memories, time well spent!
Thank you Conor for letting us experience this & for being attentive w/ our stay.
It was a sad time leaving, even the dogs miss it lol.

My family and I had a fantastic time. This was our second stay here.you can not beat the views in this house. It feels like you are on the lake from the moment you step in the kitchen. Hiked Bald mountain and had an incredible time with family and friends. One morning a bald eagle landed on the dock and ate a fish in front of me. Amazing!!! Perfect spot to enjoy Rangeley and the surrounding area.

This is the first time I have rented through VRBO and was pleased with the entire experience. The owner of this property was quick to reply with any questions that I had before booking and check in. The rental was more than I had hoped for. I love how this cabin still had the charm of an old Maine camp but all of the updates needed for a comfortable stay. We celebrated our Thanksgiving meal on the large table overlooking Rangeley Lake through a wall of large windows. It could not have been more perfect. I would recommend this rental and owner highly and I am holding to rebook for next year.

My husband and I spent a wonderful week in this great, lakeside home. Even though the house was built a long time ago (that's why it sits so close to the lake), all the appliances large and small, and the televisions are new. The TV's receive all the channels, which was nice because we had one rainy day. The view from the front rooms is spectacular! The master bedroom bed was very comfortable. This was definitely not roughing it.
Although we were there in October and the water was way too cold for swimming, there was no shortage of things to do in the area. We ran out of days before we ran out of things to do. We will be back in the summer next year for two weeks!

We had wonderful weather and were able to use the canoe and kayaks so much. Watching the sunset over the lake was one of our favorite things to do. Great being able to have a campfire by the lake. What a wonderful lakefront property. Very enjoyable vacation.

We rented the lakehouse for a week and found it to be an exceptional place to base out of for exploring on land and water the Lake Rangeley area. Sitting in the chairs in front of the picture windows gets you as close as you can be to the water without getting wet. The pier and dock were perfect, as were the main deck immediately outside the house and the sunning deck at the base of the pier. We hated to leave.

The best vacation our family has been on. We loved the home. It had a separate area with full bath and kitchen where my teenage kids stayed. Master bedroom is comfortable and quiet. The 2 king size beds were in the home were an extra bonus. Paddle boards, wood, kayaks, and canoe available made our trip so much easier to not have to rent those nor haul them up which we have done on previous vacations. The walking / hiking trail up the hill became a special spot for me in the mornings as I love to walk my dog. Right around the corner is a golf course with incredible views that my husband played on. My husband for the fist time was not anxious to leave....we have been on many vacations and he always wants to leave early. This time everything was just right!!!

Thanks to Conor for a great getaway on Rangeley Lake! The property and the home are both so stunning. The view is great (facing S/SW for sunsets)). The living/dining room area is comfortable and open. The bedrooms are all clean and well-appointed. The kitchen had all we needed. With 5 boats 2 paddleboards included in the rental, we knew all we had to do was get there and wed have days of paddling and fishing ahead of us. Only heads up Id give to prospective renters is that you cant tell from the photos how private the property is. The answer is pretty dang private. You do share the road with several other houses and some of those houses are closeby and in view of the rental, but it doesnt impede the experience at all. Hopefully you spend most of your time out on the water anyway, right?

It is a beautiful property as close to the lake as you can get. If you want to use the kayaks, paddle boards, canoe, sit by the fire, hang out with friends and family or just relax with a good book, this is the place to be.

My husband and I stayed here for a week and had one of our best vacations. The weather was perfect. The house is on a very quiet driveway. It is right on the lake, making the view from the living room spectacular. We would sit in front of the windows every morning with our coffee, mesmerized by how beautiful Rangeley lake is. The house feels larger than the pictures represent. The kitchen is well stocked, the master bedroom is huge and the bed is very comfortable. The upstairs has a sitting area, kitchenette, and two large bedrooms, also with great views. The deck is great with a large grill and plenty of sitting area. We spent most of our time on the large dock in the sun. The owner provides 2 large canoes, 2 kayaks, and 2 paddle boards, all of which we used. Had so much fun that we didn't turn the TV on the whole week! We will definitely be back.
