Adequate for our overnight stay. Good sized bathroom. Central location.
Thought I had booked a family suite so the family room not ideal for 4 adults. Staff helpful in trying to accomodate us but no other options available.

Nice comfy refurbished room with lovely finishing touches or accessories. Spacious and clean bathroom with assortment of liquid dispensers. Well situated location for a day in the Barossa.
No issues at all

Location was where we needed to br
Very out dated . Previous persons underwear hanging behind bathroom door , make you wonder if the toilet was cleaned as it would have been difficult to miss .

I was pleased with our room and we enjoyed a nice wine on our balcony overlooking the garden. The garden was extensive and we spent time exploring it. There was a good choice of eateries nearby.

Good value for money, friendly staff that were quick to help when we asked. Good walking trails around the property and well maintained gardens.
Excellent water pressure in the shower, might sound like a small thing but I really appreciated it.
Nothing that was bad/ wrong with it.

Breakfast choices and ambience were great, as were the staff.
Room TV didn't work initially - fixed. But the TV's are old and do not support modern applications, ie not smart TV's

The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was nice.
Rundown needs a lot of maintenance and updating, the gardens were extensive but need a lot of work. Our room had cobwebs that looked like they’d been there quite a while.

Location. Peacefulness
8.0 / 10.0
Room was clean and comfortable. Dining room attendant was exceptional, always willing to assist with a smile. Breakfast tray on a day when kitchen was not open was a nice touch.
Obviously business is cash strapped. Building in need of a major paint etc to give it a fresh appearance. Garden is overgrown and needs major clean up. Pity because the position is great and facilities perfect as a convention center or wedding function.

4.0 / 10.0
The location was perfect for the wedding we were there for
The pool was slimy and not appealing at all
the bathroom and yards needed maintenance
We would have never booked the Merlot house if we knew it wasn’t on the property of the rest of the motel we were there with friends and had to drive back and forth
Was informed a week before our stay the restaurant would be closed so breakfast was not an option
The motel was very outdated and needs some loving care

It is getting a bit run-down, but the price matched this and the room was still clean and comfortable.
