Stunning hotel with the best views

The hotel has studying design, with beautiful architecture and decoration. A perfect mixture of old and new architecture. Breakfast and dinner were great. Pool was amazing service was outstanding. All together an amazing stay.

Keep up the good work.

Very nice location! Excellent service, courteous staff. Very very hospitable. Will like to specially thank : Shivangi front office. Karanveer our floor butler. Himanshu for being so proactive at the bar and really pampering us with the best cocktails. The service was 7 star.

Leela should serve eats and drinks in the open area alongside the lake and also if the sheeshmahal terrace can be made into a bar. The evenings can be more livelier.

Lovely time spent with my wife for our anniversary!!!Glad i booked the Leela!!

Serene place with sounds of birds, water and pleasant songs/instruments !!! The smells and sights were very different from what we had seen before!! Staff were friendly and courteous, always willing to help!! Special mention to Mr Gaurav, Jonia and Navneet who looked after us in every single meal( going out of their ways to help us)!!!!! The song and dance were so beautiful to watch!!!

nothing to fault!! Lighting in the rooms can be brighter!! Doors in dining rooms are quite heavy to open!!

Perfection

This exceptional hotel is situated by the beautiful Pichola Lake. The views are stunning of both the lake and the mountains. The sunset over the mountains is a picture to behold. The boat trip to get to the hotel is really rather special: serenaded by a Rajasthan musician, rose petals that flutter over your head as you arrive and a parasol, held by the doorman, to protect you from the sun. Our room was perfect, we had everything we needed. Plenty of fresh towels and an exceptionally comfortable bed. The customer service was excellent, nothing is ever too much. A big thank you to Kashish, Gaurav and Deepak for looking after us so well and making our birthday so special. The restaurants are a treat with the most spectacular views. The food is delicious, especially the fish curry and the shoulder of lamb. I loved sitting on the patio and feeling the breeze from the lake whilst enjoying a tantalising breakfast. I thoroughly enjoyed listening and watching the evening performance by the Rajasthan musicians and dancers. This really did make this an interesting Indian experience. Finally, the swimming pool is a dream. We spent quite a few hours swimming and relaxing by it. Thank you for everything, we will be back! India is a very special place with great people.

Nice 2 night stay.

Breakfast was excellent .

I didn’t like that the fine dining restaurant was the only restaurant that had the best view of the lake. Also the fact you had to prebook and be charged a minimum to eat there . If you are a guest in the hotel you certainly don’t want to be bothered with this.

Can’t wait to book my next stay at Leela Palace again!!!

Breakfast , dining & hospitality was outstanding! In house culture dances & entertainment was excellent The Christmas Gala event was awesome and the best I’ve ever been too with a large variety of buffet & worth the additional price. The event was really well organised, children friendly and all the staff made it a memorable evening. The Palace itself has mesmerising views and the tranquility & peace you feel here is just something else. Well done team Leela Palace! Ps. I wanted to upload videos but unfortunately this platform doesn’t allow access to them?

I don’t think they could have done anything more to keep on top of cleaning the pigeons mess ?

The Dinning room staff was superb. Especial mention to Amit, Kailash, Prakash and Jang. Amit was so nice, my 8 month old did everything in his capacity to make Amit's life deplorable but he was always smiling and there to help. The palace looks beautiful at night.

I pre-booked a half board stay to get better rate like I always do. However, was just checking and found the hotel was giving a full board at lower prices. I contacted the hotel, shared the screenshot and requested either to move us to full board too or give an upgrade but they told its not possible. I would have to cancel my booking and re-book ( cancelation window had closed a day before so cudnt do it). Being a regular Leela customer they should have done something about it.

Amazing property and great hospitality.

They took care of my mother's dietary restrictions and spoiled the kids silly. A great family vacation and celebration of personal milestones was made extra special by the staffs' attention to detail and exception hospitality. Would definitely recommend this place.

A beautiful place

The place is simply stunning, with a beautiful garden and pool. The arrival is via a boat, which makes the experience extra special (even if, we found out afterwards, there's also a very nearby parking lot and you can take the boat to the parking and simply walk to the town from there). Our room was overlooking the garden and lake, and was a very good size even though we had a 3rd bed added. I particularly enjoyed the attention to detail, like the extra pillows under the bed and the honey in the tea / coffee set. The bathroom was pretty impressive, with two sinks and separate shower and bathtub. The place was spotless. Breakfast had a lot of variety and quality was excellent. We also very much enjoyed an evening show of traditional Rajasthani dance. Wifi was good.

Overall I felt that the the dinner menu at their Sheesh Mahal restaurant was underwhelming (and expensive), and if I went back I would not bother. Service at the pool side was slow (over 40 mins for some snacks and drinks).

Modernity in Udaipur

Location was perfect, on the shores of the lake. I particularly like the fact that it was the only modern palace hotel. The other hotels had a very dated 80s feel to them. I have stayed in 4 hotels in Udaipur and for me this was the best. In addition, the service and food are really top notch. And one last thing, the cocktails are of a very high standard too.

J would definitely recommend this hotel.

Both were amazing. Chefs catered to our personal requirements

I was disappointed with the Spa. It was really cold in the room. They had heated beds but because of the cold air draft from outside (we went in January) it felt cold. So I didn’t enjoy the treatment.
