The kitchen equipment was minimal and the mass of sofa was unconfortable

Really good location although there is a steep hill leading to Bisalde from Bakio. Very quiet. Great view of the sea from the balcony. Host very nice and did her best to ensure our stay was good.
Nothing.

This is a beautiful property located in the hills above Bakio town. It is a few kilometres drive to the seafront so best having a car to access the beach. I liked the tranquillity of this beautifully maintained property and gardens.

The location is wonderful. The ocean and mountain view from the terrace is simply astonishing. You can enjoy this wonderful sight from the terrace and from the room as well. The host was most welcoming Miren was wonderful and made sure that we felt like home. She gave us great tips where to eat and what to do nearby. We enjoyed both thoroughly. When we will be around we will gladly go for the same place.
Watch out as Google maps indicate strange roads to get there. Google maps may take you through the mountain which is doable, however, not very comfortable. You need to go to Bakio first and then follow the exact address.

We had a good and relaxing stay at Bisalde. The owner met us for check in and check out. We had an appartment with a terasse, which we used a lot. It very quite and even a small playground for kids is offered. Everything was clean and the appartment was quite large.
There was very little cutlery (2 small spoons, for example) and only a few dishes. We were also missing a larger pot to boil water for spaghetti. The apartment smelled of car fuel (maybe it used to be a garage?!) and was rather damp. We left the door always open, which helped.

Big studio in a typical Basque house, with a nice balcony equipped with chairs and table and an amazing view on the faraway sea and the mountains. Very quite and remote place, but in the mean time very close to Bakio. The host gave me great advices on where to hike and was very flexible in the departure time, very appreciated !
Be aware that the road to go up to Bisalde is very narrow, to me it added to the charm of the place but the first night it was somehow a bit scary, and then you get used to it. It was not peak season and all the supermarkets in Bakio were closed, but obviously it is the fault of the property ! I could not get the WiFi, my phone did not want to accept the password proposed.
