Very good breakfast, swimming pool, hot pools, nature, cleanliness, room.
There wasn't coffee maker. The detail of the room indicated that there would be.

The private bathtub in the room was nice. Minibar great. Everything was clean. The restaurant connected to the hotel is really good. Easy because it's so close. Close to the waterfall
The pool didn't get warm easily. We had to ask someone to come. The outside pools were less pretty than the pictures.

You can spot several animals in the premises and the staff is nice
Don’t recommend the massages, I read in the comments that they consist of constant rubbing and it’s true.
In general, I find it a little pricey for the offer.

The breakfast was good.
Rooms were too small. No Wi-Fi in the room was very annoying. Staff personnel was mixed: check in person was great, but the servers during breakfast were not as polite. Water in hot tub was not hot.

The staff was so helpful and kind.
The food at the restaurant was delicious and fresh. The hotel helped me arrange tours and transfers to and from the airport and responded to emails quickly.
The shower didn’t get very hot, but it still got us clean!

Room was an ok size, you are right in nature, which is great, the massage at the spa was relaxing, the thermal pools were also a pro to being at this hotel.
Long waits at the restaurant even though there were barely any customers. Breakfast was average and it was always a taxi ride from La Fortuna which is fine but meant there were limited places to eat near the hotel.

lovely spaces, layout with view to the Arenal Volcano. The spaces mixed with nature make this place comfortable and unique, we recommend and we would love to come back.

I loved the balcony, it has such an amazing view! Best spot during the rain. Also spa is exceptional.
Reception is always friendly!

This is a luxury stay with a super swimming pool and several volcanic water hot tubs to relax in. The food is the best i have ever had. Even the kids meals are freshly cooked and super healthy. We did several tours, ones not to miss: the hanging bridges and the volcano hiking tour and the walk to la Fortuna water falls (go early, 2km uphill from the hotel!) and Ecocentro Danaus at night or during the day. Amazing hotel i highly recommend!
The hotel acts as a one stop travel agent and is very good at it!!! I booked not only tours but also transfers and the nights at la Tigra Rainforest Lodge and all was perfectly organised even to the minute.
Everything was better than expected. Thank you staff!

Great location, pools, views and nature trail on site
Pool towels provided, fab apartments with large fridge and great A/C
Non-buffet breakfast really slowed things down in the morning when you wanted to get going

It is in a beautiful location and the rooms are very big an comfortable. If you are in a second floor you would be able to enjoy a very comfortable balcony.
- I find very annoying that the tax was not included in the Booking final price (I believe this is not legal in Costa Rica).
- There is internet only in the common areas but not in the rooms.
- The shower was a problem from time to time. At some point it was not possible for me to have a hot shower only cold water was an option.

We loved it! Casa Luna is near to the Fortuna waterfall, near the town, some good local restaurants and the hotel scenery was beautiful. We saw so much wildlife in the grounds. La fortuna is also super fun! We went to the waterfall (go at 7am to have it by yourselves), ziplining and rafting. All highly reccommended! The front desk staff were very helpful, our housekeeper was great and pool bar drinks and menu was great.
Breakfast was limited and slightly inconsistent.

This place has the needs to stay in La Fortuna, such as clean rooms, food and proximity to the town
I’m my own personal opinion I believe as a guest from the establishment that the staff should be more trustworthy and transparent at the moment of selling tourist attractions.
I was also disappointed from the service received during breakfast by waiters.

Comfortable and spacious room in building surrounded by lovely tropical garden. Enjoyed an early morning coffee on the balcony watching the birds and an evening drink in the hot tubs to relax after a days hiking in Arenal. Good breakfast.
We were in the room furthest from reception and the wi fi kept dropping out

Incredibly pretty.
Our view to the volcano was obstructed by a tree 😅 and the pool was small. We used the jacuzzis instead.

The property itself is very beautiful. It’s like being in a little slice of paradise. The hot Jacuzzis were nice plus the wildlife in the plants were fun to watch. And occasionally the volcano would peek out from behind its cloud of steam.
No full length mirror in the room. But I loved the balcony

We really loved our stay at Casa Luna hotel. Such a beautiful setting in gorgeous gardens with tropical plants, flowers and trees all around and with stunning views of Arenal volcano and other mountains. We were upgraded to an upstairs volcano view room which was a really nice touch. Very comfortable room, most comfortable bed on our trip. Lots of windows in the room to maximise views but with good blackout curtains for sleeping at night. Loved the big balcony for relaxing on and looking at garden views. So many birds, butterflies and lizards to look at in the gardens, and all the frogs in the streams to listen to in the evenings - they got louder the more it rained! And some howler monkeys came in to the grounds on our last morning too.
Appreciated the TV - the USOpen tennis was on so we could watch it on ESPN channel. Good size fridge. Fantastic big rainforest shower. Loved the hot jacuzzi pools in the gardens and the main swimming pool was nice too and a good size for proper swimming. We walked the short 1km trail along the edge of the hotel perimeter alongside the river and saw even more birds and butterflies. Breakfasts were very good - plenty of fruit to start, the best orange juice of our trip and very generous main dish servings. Good coffee. They gave us breakfast boxes to take away on our last morning as we had an early start before restaurant was open. Very helpful male receptionist who checked our onward route on Google maps to help us gauge journey time and even phoned a friend who regularly makes the same journey to check most up to date driving time. So helpful. He facilitated our early morning check out and made sure the breakfast boxes were ready for us. When we arrived he also recommended a tyre menders garage for us so that we could get our flat tyre sorted. A great recommendation, a locals place and really quick, efficient and cheap. So helpful.
A few more hooks for hanging up wet towels would be good - but that’s all.
