Our stay at Balnearn House was comfortable and calming.

The owners were kind, offered advice about local attractions and places to eat. The room was in excellent condition and the breakfast was delicious. I definitely recommend Balnearn House!

A stay without complaints :-)

The owners of the property are very friendly. Everything was clean and nicely decorated. There is also a nice garden behind the house where you can also relax. The breakfast was great. We were very satisfied and would always book there again.

Great location and a base to explore Highlands. Comfortable rooms with great indoor and outdoor facilities for all weather eventualities. Very friendly, helpful and accommodating hosts. Great eat-in and take away options nearby - booking in advance strongly recommended!

Our stay was 1st class could not Fault any thing about our stay

Nothinging at all claire made us very welcome and her B@B was spotless breakfast was very traditional and there was a wide selection and all cooked Fresh nothing come of a hotplate. Claire is a very professional and passionate host.

Peaceful, comfortable and welcoming base for a Perthshire adventure.

The house is a lovely old building, nicely decorated with interesting Highland themed artwork and stunning period features. Situated within Aberfeldy itself, in a very peaceful and quiet area, just a short walk from the local shops, pubs and restaurants. There's a lovely woodland walk around a burn, gorge and falls, you can join the path directly across the road from the house. This path also gives a handy shortcut right into the centre of the village. Unfortunately we didn't have the pleasure of meeting Claire, however, Mark was a very welcoming, friendly and helpful host. The dining room was bright and welcoming, with an amazing hand carved piece of antique furniture, that left me wondering in awe at the skill of the craftsman that made such a beautiful item. Breakfast was all freshly prepared and of good quality. Efficiently ordered the evening before. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Balnearn House as a base to explore Perthshire.

We were given a warm welcome by Mark and Claire, had a very comfortable, clean and spacious room and the breakfasts were delicious. It was a short walk to the centre of town and very close to the Birks of Aberfeldy. We would definitely recommend it .

Balnearn House is situated in a lovely town in the countryside - ideal for a short break!

The breakfasts were excellent with a number of choices. Each day you were given the opportunity to choose a different mix of items from cereals to cooked breakfasts. There was an excellent lounge area which was ideal for resting after a busy day or for reading. The garden was lovely and would be nice when the weather was favourable. The location was close to town for meals and the on site parking was generous.
