About this cottage rental

The cottage is ideal for single travellers, couples or friends who are looking for a central location in historic Arrowtown. The kitchen has just been renovated.
There's a garden with outdoor seating and BBQ (in summertime)
From the cottage you can walk into Arrowtown to shop, enjoy lunch and dinner or head out into the hills for a hike or bike ride.

The first bedroom has a queen bed and a newly renovated shower room with washing machine and dryer. The second bedroom in the cottage is large, with queen and single bed plus ensuite shower room and kitchenette.

From the front door of the cottage you can walk into town in less than a minute, walk to the river and enjoy hiking or biking in 2 minutes, and head out into the hills to walk for an hour, half a day or a full day.
Take advantage of the Queenstown Trail which runs just past the property. This trail offers over 100kms of biking trails - you can set out in a different direction each day!

Arrowtown is a town of 4 seasons. Enjoy spring with blossoming trees, lazy summer days by the river or Lake Hayes, or make the most of the long days and hike or bike to explore the area. Autumn is a magical time, with trees changing to red, orange and gold. In winter Arrowtown is a fantastic place to base yourself for a skiing or snow boarding holiday, with 3 skifields within easy driving distance.
Arrowtown is a great base for a visit the Southern Lakes region:
Queenstown is just 20 minutes drive
Wanaka is just 45 minutes drive
Glenorchy is just over an hour's drive

Special conditions:
No tents in the garden.

The property may not be suitable for younger children but is suitable for older children - please enquire. This is due to the steep staircase in the living area which just leads to our storage area. All areas of the cottage for guests are on one level.

We are happy to clean the cottage after your stay, but ask that you leave the cottage tidy when you leave, with all washing up done and put away. If check out instructions are not followed there may be an extra charge for additional cleaning.

It worked well for 4 people. Expected it to be more like an old cottage inside from the outside look. It was modernised inside. It was comfortable and close to town.

We had a fantastic week staying in this property. The location can’t be beaten, and the cottage is very comfortable and spacious with very new bathrooms and well stocked kitchen. Was great being so close to the historic town centre and also right on the river. Highly recommended!

It is very difficult to summerize this is a short way. It is all and more than advertised. Just literally 2 munutes walk to the main street. The owner Jackie, well there are not enough words to express her kindess and consideration. Would I go back, in a blink of an eye. Thankyouxx

2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms shared living space and washer and dryer in one of the bathrooms. You can self cater or just a VERY short walk to Main Street if Arrowtown where there is a great family pub and lots of cafes etc. Provisions cafe on corner near accommodation. We’ll definitely stay here again next time. Thankyou Jackie.

With 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms the cottage is great for a family or 2 couples. Closeness to town makes it easy to go for a coffee or a wine. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

The cottage was perfect for us, located in Arrowtown village it was very handy for shops and cafes. It was right next to the river with a beautiful outlook and easy access for biking and walking along the river trails.
