Spectacular views and all the creature comforts of home.

The view is spectacular and the facilities excellent. Thoroughly clean with all the creature comforts and a place to relax and enjoy uninterrupted views over Macquarie Harbour.

The only small thing was the water in the shower upstairs could have been warmer.

Fabulous location with amazing view. The accommodation however could be improved.

Stunning view but showing its age

The view was amazing, lovely sunset. Spacious accommodation. We were only there for one night, arriving late afternoon and leaving early morning. Plenty of towels and toiletries.

Feel it is starting to show wear and tear, wooden frames need re-staining, kitchen knife block handles are peeling and needed cleaning (grease and dust) oven could have been cleaner. Upstairs was dusty and there was sand on the furniture downstairs. We also had to message for the wifi password and we couldn't get the lounge TV to work (was asking for login - which I would have expected it to be logged in).

Exceptional

The view was beautiful. I could hardly believe my eyes when I walked in the door. The place was very neat and beautifully designed. I attended with a friend, but the setting is perfect for a romantic couple getaway.

I don’t think it can be improved but the stairs were a bit scary. They creaked a lot and as a heavier person I was quite worried at times. They are completely safe, don’t get me wrong. That’s just something I noticed.

Really lovely accommodation, great layout and stunning views

Exceptional view from both floors. Spacious living area with good kitchen facilities. Undercover parking provided. Great spa and bathroom facilities

Bed was a little bit soft for my liking although that may come down to personal preference.

A highlight of a two week road trip around Tasmania. Just a beautiful property

Superb location with magnificent views. All facilities one would expect in such a quality property. Friendly and helpful host when I had a couple of questions on arrival.

Best weekend away in a long time and that was due to a gorgeous place to stay

Amazing property a must stay accommodation

This place is amazing, from the location, the most comfortable bed, too the beautiful host. We really enjoyed our 2 night stay. oh and the view was spectacular.

Feels like you're at home, extremely comfortable

There was nothing this apartment didn't have, it felt like I was walking into my own home with the throw blankets, quality flannelette doona cover & pillows, the bed is beyond soft & comfortable, there was ice cubes in the freezer for us which came in handy as it was hammering down rain during our stay so the ice cubes & Netflix on the tele came in handy

Tranquil and serene setting

It goes without saying that those windows are what sets this property apart from the rest. The windows give way to peaceful views and tranquil surrounds. Inside the property is modern, clean and well-kept. It was great to have two large bathrooms. The Wheelhouse Apartments are a must-stay when visiting Strahan.

Expectation that there would be 2 beds in one of the bedrooms. The upstairs shower was difficult to regulate. The size of the bedroom downstairs was limited. There was nowhere to store clothes downstairs.

Enjoyed our stay though woould have liked a better shower.

The location was great. The view from the apartment was superb. Most facilities good. Enjoyed our time there.

Bed was a little small and needed a bit more pillow selection. Shower was not so good - Water not hot enough and little water pressure.
