Good value for a clean and nice hotel

-very clean hotel -big rooms with good vibe -beautiful garden and pool -good brekkie -close to the main road but wasn’t noisy -good location: 12 min walk from the central, and local bus stops are just 2 min walk away -helpful and lovely staff -during our 3 weeks long stay this hotel has the best value, facilities, comfort and cleanliness so if you have tight budget it can be a gem compared to other hotels.

-staff and even the manager has poor English and do not understand everything well. -dining room area is uncomfortable. Tables are just narrow desks and chairs are small bar chairs - at the reception are there are proper chairs and tables what would be much more comfortable. -nothing is prepared in the dining area, every morning you have to ask salt, pepper, napkin. -in our room on the second floor AC was extremely loud so we could not use it at night even though we were boiling and bathroom is getting a bit used as towel drier and the shower was falling into peaces. -we booked 2 rooms and requested the rooms next to each other as we were travelling with my older mum, but we did not got them. Even though we tried to speak to the hotel manager he did not want to talk with us as he was allegedly busy and he did not called us back to sort out our requests. The room we wanted was empty but they told us it was booked until the next day.. ok we accepted it but they were not even open to change the room next day.

Really good an clean hotel!

The best hotel we had on our Sri Lanka trip! It’s just as the photos and the pool was nice. Breakfast was also really good. Location is also fine expecially if you have a scooter, but you can also walk from there to the restaurants and beach.

То, место, куда действительно захочется вернуться снова.

Прекрасное место! Персонал приветливый и отзывчивый, отдельная благодарность Исуру :) — всегда готов помочь по любому вопросу. Шум дороги неслышен. Расположение удобное - и Мирисса и Велигама в 5 минутах. Нет насекомых в номере, все герметично. Чистый бассейн. Простые но сытные завтраки.

Нет закрытой мебели - шкафы, тумбочки, ящики. Всего одно зеркало в душевой, не хватало еще одного в номере. "Глухие" перегордки между болконов отсутствуют, поэтому некоторые имели наглость заглядывать в номер с болкона, из-за этого приходилось держать шторы закрытыми. В таком случае простым решением - можно было бы шторы поделить на 2 части, чтобы открывать посередине и закрывать по бокам от соседей. Сейчас они одним сплошным полотном.

Perfect stay that matches the price

Price and quality really matches if you want good worth for your money. The facilities are basic, but Mirissa really is a place to be out and about. So, it matched our expectations. The beds were a bit hard by the way, so if you like that, this is your place to be.

Es ist wunderschön dort! Wir waren hier drei Nächte. Es ist ein super freundliches Team. Hat einen schönen Pool und die Lage war echt okay. Man ist fußläufig in der Stadt.

Great stay

Nice and clean swimming pool. Friendly hosts, they even prepared Sri Lankan breakfast for us when we asked although it normally is English breakfast.

The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner. A shame the jungle cat restaurant was closed because it looked very nice.

Wonderful place

The places is amazing, a quite small location with super friendly staff. Swimming pool is very clean, service is great and the breakfast is perfect as well. We went whale watching and the owner helped us arranging everything. More than pleased and definitely a recommendation. ☺️ Thanks again!!

The property was extremely clean, in a great location and staff were very helpful. The rooms were spacious and well lit. The pool area was also amazing if you didn’t want to be at the beach. We stayed for three nights however wish we could have stayed longer at Green Hill

pretty amazing and worth the money depending on the time of the year

absolutely what me and my fiance were looking for during the hectic time of the new year it was far enough from the main beach so there were less commotion and a little bit more peace. lovely staff always at our beck and call and always offering their services.

nothing really other than the fact that if there were any improvements i would make it would be that a chair or some sort of extra furniture be put in the room just to spice things up

Location is a bit further away and on the way to the center/beach you have to walk on the main, busy road. Coffee at breakfast was one cup of hot water with powder coffee

very very hospitable, would come back to green hill again when in mirissa

about the owner: he is always available, if there were problems he solved them very quickly. I had a minor and a major mishap, he took care of it without hesitation. The employees are also very friendly and made everything possible for us. accomodation: is like in the pictures. room/pool/breakfast great. originally intended for bagpackers (1-2 nights) we were there for 12 nights, so the whole thing was very cordial with the owner, family (we drank and ate something together) always happy, especially because he now wants to expand with a nice project

there is nothing to say. the bathrooms smell musty and sometimes there is a water stain on the wall... is normal in countries like bali or thailand... you know that beforehand. about the distance: about 15 minutes walk to the main beach... exhausting in the midday heat, but there are enough tuk tuks (up to 400 rupees, a little more than 1 €)

I recommend everyone to stay here, the location is perfect (close to Mirissa and Weligama) you won't regret it!

My partner and I spent 5 wonderful nights at Green Hill. The room and the garden are exactly like in the photos. All very clean and tidy, the rooms are equipped with air conditioning and hot water. The breakfast is very good and the staff is very kind
