The chalet was set in a gorgeous garden setting with stunning views out over one of the pretty inlets of Norfolk Bay. We were lucky to spot a padymelon fossicking around the patio in the evening and a Scarlet Robin bouncing around in the garden the following morning. The chalet layout is very welcoming upon arrival, being spacious and functional. We especially liked the elevated spa and large bed which framed the sunken lounge. Having spent a very wet day at Port Arthur, the washing machine/dryer came in very handy, as well as plenty of room in the lounge for our clothes-airier. There were a choice of a few good DVD's which made for a cosy night in. It is well suited to an extended stay, giving you the chance to explore the Tasman Peninsula, with Port Arthur, Eagle-Hawk Neck, Tasman's arch/Devils Kitchen all within a 15min drive. There's not many dining options nearby but the chalet has a full kitchen and fridge; with 2 x IGA's around 15min away drive in Nubeena. From our 2 weeks spent in Tassie, this was our favourite accommodation and we wished we'd booked a longer stay!

If we had to fault anything: it looked like there was some grout missing from some of the shower tiles around the drain hole which left the tiles a little lose/raised. The lint filter in the dryer was also solidly full. It wasn't an issue for us to empty before we used but this could be a fire hazard.

Roomy and well appointed villa. Nice outlook, quiet and private. Small gift of a cookbook was a wonderful and well appreciated gesture.

Steps inside and around spa a hazard in the dark. A little easy to miss off the main road.

Fully equipped and very comfortable staying. the room is far better than expectation which everything is provided and instructed. convenient to travel around the sightseeing areas.

The location was good. View was really nice. Nice cosy chalet. Enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful.

The bed was reasonably comfortable, though the pillows were horrible. They might as well have been non existant for how flat they were and there was no other selection, made for not a good night sleep.

Absolutely gorgeous place where the staff were very helpful. Sitting in the spa overlooking the inlet was a treat.

The bed was comfortable

The owner text the key code at 2pm, we had no service on our phone and couldn't get in. The room was very tired, the furnishings were old, dirty and stained. It was very poor value for money and I would not recommend.

Could have made more use of the view. TV Channels - not many, although they did leave a few dvds

3 towels for 6 people is not really acceptable for the price. Small cooker lacked power. Main stove good.
