Clean, comfortable and strategically placed

Clean and strategically placed, the host is very nice and friendly. The room was big and comfortable.

We had some trouble with the automatic gate which doesn’t work properly and we got stuck inside for half hour. Please fix it! 😀

Great place!

Nice and very well equipped kitchen - almost any dishes/utensils you could need to cook any meal, large fridge and oven, microwave, coffee machine etc. You can enjoy your meals in the yard/terrace as well. Spacious rooms. Laundry room with 2 washing machines and a dryer - especially handy after all the hikes. Secure and spacious yard with plenty of parking space. Great location (if you have a car) - fast drive to the city, convenient to get around the island from this place as well. Nice and quiet. AC works well.

Nothing to add, 10/10 would recommend this place. Would recommend it only if you're travelling by car, though! As its a bit of a drive from anything (stores etc.) and I'm not sure about the availability of the public transportation hear.

Nice place with an excellent host

The host is very kind and helpful. The house is in a generally good and peaceful location. The room and the kitchen is well equipped and comfortable.

Other guests were a bit noisy in the evening (our room was close to the kitchen and we could hear them too well). The location is not the easiest to access by foot.

Quiet small hotel with well equipped rooms promising relax and good position to explore island

Good position to explore the western/mid of Sao Miguel, comfortable and private accommodation, rooms well equipped, easy parking, green spaces around

The outside area might be better maintained (more grass or flowers), we missed matches to burn a candle :)

The best host we've ever had.

The best host we've ever had. Really felt that the host cares a lot about her customers. Great tips, always online and always ready to help. Million thanks, Cristine. The house shares same kitchen and laundry. The laundry has 2 washing machines and a dryer which helped a lot after trails. The rooms are spacious, with large bathroom and a perfect air conditioning. Google has the point called Estalagem Pica d'Agua and all taxis know the place.

Superb

I do recommend this place but a car makes big sense here. You'll find a very helpful and friendly host. Everything is comfortable and well equipped.

Room was pretty comfortable and sizeable AC in the room was pretty good love the rural setting yet under 10 minutes from the city/beach/grocery stores.

Comfortable house in the center of the island with very good value!!

Comfortable house and room. Common kitchen, laundry... Centrally lcoated in the island, near important road.

In the middle of nowhere, you have to get in and out by car. Toaster not working well and missing some amenities in the kitchen (sugar, coffee...).

Very good

Very nice hosts! Beautiful view of Pico. The beds are hard on springs, but otherwise ok. If you are sensitive to mold, it may not be the best place for you. The kitchen is great and warm water for showers!

Great location if you have a car! Good kitchen, spacious room and bathroom.

We had issues checking in at the prearranged time, as did all the other guests we spoke to. The gates were locked and we ended up having to check in 3 hours later than planned.

A room for just a few days

The room was big and had enough space for our bags and our stuff. They have clean the rooms everyday.

The bed was very hard and old. The room smells a little bit strange.

Fabulous

Great host. Drove us to the supermarket when we arrived a sunday afternoon because we didn’t have a car at that time. Clean and big rooms. Kitchen is shared and gets cleaned everyday You need a car when staying here. No city or anything like that around. You can walk 20 min to the supermarket (40 min in total) but it is on a big Road which is not suites for pedestrains
