Recommend for simple stay 1-2 nights

Very good location, reception 24/7, secure. It is always clean in the rooms, they have nice breakfast included to the price. It is in the central square of the city in the cafe

Difficult to find parking, there is no any window in a room. All the time Dominican hospitality means - we try to find a way to get money from you. They ask for deposit in dollars and try to return in pesos(to make some money in exchange rate). They ask money for watching your car, when it is not official. And no matter it can be completely free hotel - you will get the cheapest and easiest room. We travel a lot and usually to satisfy guests we get better service if it is possible- reception and service team try to give as best as they can. Here - no. If you want better - pay, always pay.

Cataleya: recomiendo este agradable hotel.

La ubicación del hotel es perfecta en una calle de la Zona Colonial donde practicamente no hay ruido nocturno. Cercana a todo lo que se puede necesitar para una estadía corta agradable. Muy amables los y las jóvenes que trabajan en la recepción. El desayuno se sirve en un restaurant que se llama La Marchanta a solo dos cuadras de distancia frente al Parque Colón. Muy bueno el desayuno. Por cierto, muy buen servicio en el restaurant. Si quiere estar en una calle tranquila y cerca de todo en la Zona Colonial, les recomiendo este pequeño y agradable hotel.

El agua, por lo menos en mi habitación, siempre estuvo entre fría y tibia pero se soporta.

Bastante cómoda y agradable.

No pude tomar el desayuno por motivos personales, pero el alojamiento me pareció muy bonito y céntrico lo cual nos permitió movernos con mayor facilidad dentro de la zona colonial, aunque si agregaría que el transporte al aeropuerto se me hizo muy caro.

El lugar tenía un olor tal vez a detergente muy fuerte o a guardado, no distinguía bien, pero con el tiempo se fue yendo.

Avoid it at all cost

Good location in zona colonial

No hot water. Not at all. For 2 whole days! All the staff will recite the same story: it is a temporary issue and it will be fixed (many others had this problem, so be wary). And ofc no hairdryer after a cold shower. On top of that: room without window and no clothes hangers (not even a shelf!). Moreover, when I arrived the sheet had multiple stains, but it was fine the second day after the housekeeping. Value for money close to 0. Stay away

No fue para nada una pesadilla, pero tampoco un dulce sueño.

Lo mejor que tiene el hotel es la ubicación, está prácticamente cerca de todo dentro de la Zona Colonial, además, el ambiente es tranquilo, no nos vimos afectados por ruidos extraños ni bulla.

No nos gustó que tuvimos que subir nosotros mismos nuestro equipaje a un tercer piso, no tienen ascensor y aparentemente tampoco tienen botones (bell boy) para ayudar a cargar las maletas. También, no fue de nuestro agrado no tener el desayuno en las mismas instalaciones del hotel, sino que uno tiene que caminar dos cuadras hacia un restaurante frente al parque Colón para poder desayunar todos los días que usted esté hospedado. No ofrecen tampoco facilidades para parqueo, así que si usted va en su vehículo, prepárese para coger sus malos ratos tratando de encontrar dónde estacionar en la siempre consgestionada Zona Colonial o prepárese para pagar $50 pesos por hora ($1,200 pesos por día) y hasta $100 pesos por hora, en los estacionamientos más cercanos.

Excelente ubicación en la zona colonial, el desayuno es en otro lugar frente a la plaza.

El hotel tiene una buena ubicación en la zona colonial, cerca de muchos sitios de interes y buena calidad precio.

No me gusto una noche que llegamos y nuestra llave de la habitación no estaba en la recepción, tuvieron que subir a buscarla "la tenía otro huesped", muy extraño nos pareció.

Camas cero confort, habitacion muy pequeña y sin mesa de trabajo. Carencia de recursos básicos como papel higiénico, agua.

Muy buena opción para alojamiento en la zona colonial, confort y cercanía con puntos turísticos

muy buen desayuno por el precio, la ubicación excelente para las actividades tenía planeadas

la zona alrededor del hotel está en proceso de remodelación, por lo que se percibía mucho ruido en ese aspecto, así como calles y calzadas cerradas o reparación

Wonderful stay!

Super friendly and professional front desk team! Comfortable, clean and quiet room alongside with safe for your belongings. I booked a studio with separate small kitchen/breakfast area which was super handy. The breakfast is outside of the property at Plaza Colon where you can enjoy a beautiful morning. High speed internet!

Worrible customer service ! Charge almost half the price of my stay for towels!

The charged $20 for towels being “stained” I washed my face and there was a little make up on it and they charged me almost half of my stay for it… never will I book here again.

The room is very comfortable, even for stays of several days. The breakfast is the best of this hotel since it is very varied, and the location of the restaurant makes it ideal to start the day. It is a clean, tidy place, very well located, making it a very good option to stay in Santo Domingo.

The attention of the staff is not always the best. It is something common not only here but in almost all bars, restaurants, taxis, museums, and other places in the Dominican Republic. They tend to be inattentive and unreceptive, and sometimes they seem peevish. Surely it is not intentional, but it could be annoying for some visitors, considering that in other countries nearby, the attention is a plus.

Eric the host was wonderful made sure we were comfortable and happy. He is very kind and professional. I would recommend this place, great location too.
