Séjour agréable, reposant et de belles rencontres

Le confort, le côté cosy, les prestations (piscine, jacuzzi), la situation dans Grand Baie (à 5mn à pieds de l’animation et des plages).

Endroit calme. Ce qui nous a permis de nous reposer, de profiter de la piscine et du jacuzzi.

Un peu déçu par la ville de Grand Baie. Par contre. Tout est à portée de mains : Courses. Restaurants... etc

Zwei zentrale Villen fußläufig zur Grand Baie und Restaurants

Was uns als erstes sehr gut gefallen hat, war das nette Upgrade, welches wir bekommen haben, da die vordere Villa/Apartment frei war. Die letzte Nacht sind wir dann in das hintere Apartment umgezogen, was aber, da wir tagsüber eh nie da waren, kein Problem war. Die Apartments sind luftig und mit den Klimaanlagen kann man die Schlafzimmer gut temperieren. Die Ausstattung für's Frühstück war ok. Zu Abend gegessen haben wir in den fußläufig zu erreichenden Restaurants. Das ist ein großer Vorteil. Das Parken war an beiden Apartments kein Problem. Vor den Grundstücksmauern war Platz für jeweils einem Auto. Auf dem vorderen Grundstück konnte sogar drinnen ein kleines Auto parken. Jedes Apartment verfügte über Pool und Yakuzzi. Das vordere Apartment ist etwas großzügiger und moderner. Ansonsten war die Betreuung seitens des Vermieters sehr gut. Am ersten Tag hätten wir sogar Ausflüge buchen können. Dies haben wir nur nicht getan, weil es zeitlich nicht gepasst hat. Gerne würden wir das Apartment vorne wieder buchen. Die beigefügten Fotos sind vom zweiten, hinteren Apartment.

Im hinteren Apartment fühlt man sich ein bisschen eingeengt. Da wir aber tagsüber außer Haus waren, war es aber kein Problem.

La varangue était un peu petite pour 3 personnes

Read before booking! Wouldn’t stay there again!

A lot of space and kitchen facilities.

location was a bit hard to find and during the night, a bit of a uncomfortable walk in the dark as it’s in a side road. lot of noise from the building of a Villa but hind the house so hard to sleep in the mornings. Rooster crowing all night and day made it noisy and hard to keep windows open so uncomfortable sleep, had to revert to the downstairs room where it’s cooler. I didn’t like the payment method of the property, normally you’d expect one form of payment and one deposit. but here you’re expected to pay a holding deposit to secure the stay well before the check in date and pay for the property all via bank transfer which is extremely difficult as there is a currency conversion fee from banks (lost out on 20e due to this which wasn’t even deducted from the stay). If you don’t use Euros or Mauritian Rupees, this is all difficult as it involves a lot of extra checks. On top of this, we were asked to pay a 200e deposit in cash which we didn’t have and didn’t plan for which had to take out in Rupees and in the long run, lost out in more conversion fees from GBP. All in all, would’ve been an adequate stay if it wasn’t for that or for there being no pool cleaner for the entirety of our stay and when I queried that from Kamala (the local host, the actual host isn’t based there as we didn’t meet them a single time). This wouldn’t have been an issue but there was a dead lizard in the pool and a lot of dirt in there as there was no pool cover. Good of them to offer transport to the Villa
