The Red House was the perfect size for our week stay. We couldn't ask for a more accommodating host. It took less than five minutes to get into the village. While we did not have lake views, it was a short walk to the lake with a dock and gazebo for our use. When we return in the future, we will use the dock for our tubes, fishing etc. With two grandchildren under four we opted to drive the short distance to Shepard Beach in the village. Can't wait to return next summer.

One of the nicest areas and house we have stayed at of all our family vacations. The house was
immaculate and extremely roomy. The property was beautiful serene and well kept. If you’re looking for peace and quiet with access to water and restaurants, this is it.

Beautiful property off of a private road. Checkin was easy but we weren't given keys. Keys can get lost, but a suggestion would be a coded entry lock. I realize breakins are unlikely because of the private drive, but we had our work computers to worry about.
Anyway, it was very clean and on a large piece of property. They owner was very freindly and greeted us on our arrival. It's very close to the Village and Bolton. We had a great stay and will keep them in mind for our next trip to Lake George.

House is nice in a quiet wooded area but a quick drive to downtown. The screened porch was great!

The red house was a great location to stay in Lake George. It was very close to the village and there was a short walk to the lake. We were able to use the dock for swimming and for docking a boat if we wanted to. The house was very spacious and clean and we were able to bring our small dogs. I would highly recommend the red house.

Rained some nearly every day but managed to have a great time.

House is very nice! We wish the air conditioner was more effective for the size house. Luckily, it was cool at night so we could open windows. Only one fan upstairs to move air around. I know we were at “camp,” but house was advertised with A/C so we expected it to work better.
Kitchen had dish washer detergent, but no extras right down to items such as salt and pepper. Other places I’ve stayed had provided items such as dish soap, salt and pepper, and hand soap in bathrooms( only one bathroom had soap). Bed pillows are inadequate.
Screened porch is awesome! Grill was very clean.
It is a lovely house, just bring all items you will need for your stay or expect to run to the store. Also expect to be warm if it’s hot out.

This property is a great place for family and your pet. The owners are super nice, friendly and accommodating four minute drive to downtown and a relaxing area to just hang out. An updated home with all the modern accommodations. We would definitely stay here again and plan to in the future.

House and location was wonderful, can’t wait to go next year

Was a short stay, but definitely worth it & I would absolutely stay here again when we come back to Lake George. Very comfortable & the enclosed porch was a plus! Amy was easy to reach & very helpful. The only issue (which wasn’t terrible) was the fridge door wouldn’t stay closed, so we improvised to keep it closed. Other than that, it was an enjoyable weekend.

The property is well maintained and clean. Having dock access is a big plus

We loved the location, not only to LG Village, but to Saratoga, the lake itself and Bolton's Landing. It is obvious the home is well maintained and it offered us everything we looked forward to for the week.

Such a great property. The house is very nice and set back in the woods with a beautiful green yard infront. The short walk to the dock is nice and the lake is spectacular. We docked our boat and brought our dog.
Amy was great and met us at the house when we arrived.
Thank you so much for the great family vacation at the lake. Your house was perfect for us.

Property was very close to Lake George Village while still maintaining quiet and privacy. The house was extremely clean. We loved the screened in porch! My kids loved the short walk down the road to the dock for swimming and enjoying the views.

Close enough to town to enjoy activities and secluded enough to have privacy and relax!

Property was great location was great, was a little awkward when owner showed up 3hours after checkin to give us the sheets for the beds. Other than that very small hiccup great experience... Lake George is all around good destination

Not far from downtown. But far enough that it doesn’t feel like people are on top of you.

We had a nice vacation stay at the the Red House. The weather didn’t cooperate and we had a fair amount of rain but the screened-in porch allowed outdoor relaxation and time to catch up with family and friends. The open floor plan and comfortable living room furniture provided comfort to all who enjoyed their time at the Red House. Mattress were comfortable and house clean. No complaints from us.

My husband, myself, our two grown sons, and their girlfriends stayed at this house. It was the perfect size for 6 adults. We really loved the screened porch and large yard. The lake access/dock wasn't as private as we had believed it would be from the online description and pictures.

The house is a short walk to the private dock for fishing and swimming.
The owner was very attentive to any of our concerns and took care of them very quickly (things as simple as an empty propane tank to fixing the central air.)
The house has all you need for an enjoyable stay in the Lake George area.

From the moment my kids(older) and I walked through the door It was cozy and welcoming. The bedrooms and all rooms in house were spacious neat and clean. The decor was like being in your own living room. Amenities provided were there through out house. The property was peaceful clean and had plenty of room for families and kids of all ages. The only inconvenience was the distance to private dock. A 5 minuate drive into town were there's a dock for renting boat, kayaks, shopping restaurants and souvenirs...The firepit and grill outside screened in porch fully furnished was cool.. and we used them both. The owner was responsive in answering questions prior to our check in. She was a pleasure to deal with and very accommodating. We will be returning to the Red House ~a must experience ~ ♡♡♡

Property was clean . Easy to check in. Only issue was lack of dish soap and toilet paper. The tanks for the grill was empty. Made due by burning a wood fire for grilling. Prolly could of contacted home owner but choose not to our problem. All in all nice time was had by all.
