Die Lage der Unterkunft ist sehr zentral, aber dennoch ruhig. Das Bad ist neu, der Rest etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber.

Great stay!

Florient the staff was really nice, and helpful. We wonder when he sleeps?! I thought that I had rented a studio w fridge and stove but I had rented the twin room! Florient gave us the studio for one night w a surcharge, and then we had the twin room for 2 nights. We are in our 60s. The studio was much nicer but the twin room did the trick. Just very tiny. You dont open your suitcase there unless it is in your bed. The showers were all good, the beds all comfortable.. air conditioned in all rooms. Shampoos etc, and a little kitchen with teas and coffee. A common fridge for some of the rooms. The location was great, about 8 min from parks and squares. We had a great walking tour with Guru walk. What a great little city.

The only little thing is that there is a restaurant downstair so you get music till 11 and the noise of people talking. It did not bother us much. It was quieter in the studio for some reason.

All the staff were friendly and very helpful. Communicated well prior to our visit, even when we had to change arrival times. Also helped with directions and gave suggestions about things to do in Ljubljana.

A no thrills budget hotel in a good location.

A very simple place in a good location. The owner is very friendly and very willing to help. The location is nice, almost everything in Ljubljana is within walking distance. They offer complimentary coffee and they have a large terrace where you can ease into the day (after a long night at the Parliament Pub...). It's a smoking terrace but no one was smoking when I was there.

Sound insulation could be better, some of the outside noise seeps through into the room. Didn't really bother me but could be an issue if you're a light sleeper.

Penzion Pod Lipo was located close to the historic city center, easy to walk about and in a quiet neighborhood. The historic building was well cared for, and our room had a nice view onto a small square. The owner was charming and attentive to guests.

Friendly staff. Excellent location. Easy parking nearby.

There was no central heating, only fan heater in the room. So, first night was mild, but others were warm during sleeping time. Unfortunately, since the room and bathroom are separated by two doors, it was cold in there (and it was November).

It is as written in the description, which is always the best recommendation.

Great location, in the center of the city, yet somehow secluded. It may be only in summer like that, because of the big linden tree and other trees around. The best part is the balcony (for the whole pansion) where you can peacefully enjoy summer evenings.

The room was tiny, but then the balcony saved the day.

Not the room on the picture (no studio) but great stay.

Very friendly guy at the reception, calm neighberhood, great shower and spacious room.

Our room wasn't the one on the picture, there was no kitchen inside the room (it was no studio apartment as stated in the booking, but the price in the booking was already only the one for normal rooms, so I sort of expected that.) A bit old fashioned interior.

Brilliant location. Spacious comfortable rooms sand a kittto share for breakfast and loads of tea and coffee choice

Very close to the center, restaurants, cafés. The guy at the administration was very friendly and helpful. There was free coffee and tea at the kitchen. Clean neighbourhood, clean rooms.

The AC was quite loud. There was a switch for the hot water in the shower but it ran out.

Very good

The receptionist was very friendly and seemed to be a very good person! The place itself is good and it is very clean. The location is great as you are a 10-20 minute walk from important landmarks. You can check out early, even if the reception is not open yet. Also, we could check in sooner because the room was already clean and they were expecting us, since we pointed it out in the reservation that we would arrive sooner!

A bit expensive for what it is, but the city seems to be a bit expensive for hotels. You must turn on the water heater for the shower and they forgot to tell me, so I had to wait 20 minutes before shower in the morning.

Staff was friendly

Warning! Do not recommend! This was probably the most horrible hotel experience I’ve ever had. The smell of smoke inside the room was unbearable. Only one window to open that directly faced the balcony where people smoked. Room wasn’t clean. Bathroom stank as well. No possibility to switch rooms as apparently the whole hotel was booked. Shame actually as the location is good and the staff is friendly.
