Don't be fooled by other properties claiming to be "downtown" or "close" to the Plaza - be sure to check the map location on VRBO & proximity to the Sonoma Plaza. (There are only just a handful of permitted properties located 1-2 blocks from the Plaza, and we are one of them.) Our historical, adorable cottage is just steps away from world-class restaurants, wine tasting rooms, historical landmarks, parks, shopping, festivals and lots of room for your kids to frolic.

We are also located within a short walk to Whole Foods, Sonoma Market or Safeway should you need to do a market run. Your pedestrian paradise in the Plaza arena includes passing old adobe storefronts, sunlit courtyards, and enchanting alleyways. Sonoma is also home to our State Historic Park, site of the northernmost Franciscan Mission in California and birthplace of the California State Bear Flag.

Our 1865 Cottage is uniquely charming, tastefully decorated, and offers you a genuine Sonoma living experience. You will be embraced by Sonoma-style comfort and convenience during your stay. All rooms are bright & colorful – each boasting its' own Sonoma vintage style (please view our pictures!). Upon checking in, we provide our guests with a bottle of select Sonoma Valley wine.

Come explore the whole of Sonoma Valley, the birthplace of California’s wine industry. We offer an ideal base from which to explore not only the Plaza area, but Sonoma Valley, and neighboring wine regions (Glen Ellen, Kenwood, Russian River, Healdsburg, Anderson Valley, & Napa Valley). We are just a 45 minute drive to San Francisco and close to the California coastline.

Please note that we DO NOT ALLOW ANY LARGE GATHERINGS, PARTIES OR EVENTS at our vacation home. Only those registered to stay with us are permitted to stay at our property, and we can ALLOW A MAXIMUM OF 6 PEOPLE (not including children under 2 years of age).

Our minimum stay requirement varies, depending on the time of year you book with us. We ask that you carefully read our house rules, in addition to familiarizing yourself with our property description, including all of our amenities.

Homeaway requires that 25% of your rental fee be collected at the time of your booking. We have a "moderate" cancellation policy - you can cancel at least 30 days before check-in to receive 100% of your fees (please read full description of a "moderate" policy for more information.)
