Great stay but really needs investment in a new double mattress

Lovely thoughtful little touches. Lovely accommodation. Friendly host. Lovely decor, good location.

Double bed was really uncomfortable and made it difficult for me to sleep! Bed was very hard! Not enough storage space as cupboard that would be used for storing food was unaccessible as locked.

Family fun with sea view. Perfect!

Fantastic location with sea view, peaceful, close to the beach. Park, golf, football pitch onsite. Great for all the family.

We were unlucky to have pretty bad weather but still had a great time.

Exceptional

The chalet was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed plus extra bits. A welcome bucket, spade and chocolate for the kids was a wonderful touch as well as the wine and crisps for us. The host had great communication. Lovely place to be.

Beautiful holiday

The location was idyllic, sea views, quiet site. It was clean on arrival. Lots of communication from the owner. Helpful hints of things we might be interested in. Welcome gift.

Going over all the bumps to get to the chalet. The front door was very stiff

Comfy home away from home in quiet sea side location

Took me a while to find the properly, but once I had- it was very easy to get in. No towels provided but host dropped some in when requested. Thank you. Had everything that I needed and very warm and welcoming. Great location with own beach and lots of sea glass!

Very enjoyable weekend break to a part of the island we had not been to before.

Location perfect. Accommodation very comfortable.

Despite Storm Noa arriving we had a great stay

This is a good value for money option. The house was very clean and arrival bonuses really appreciated.

Lack of a dishwasher. Shower cubicle is very tight for larger people

splendid

The communication with the owners when we arrived to solve a little difficulty we had. The Chalets at Brambles are the perfect size and location to explore the IOW. From Brambles, here are nice walks on the Coastal Path to Fort Victoria and beyond towards Yarmouth in one direction, and towards the Needles in the other. Breakfast was awesome as we cooked it ourselves, and the kitchen facilities were very good for that. I did walk to the Sugar Loaf in the town though and that was really nice - see if you can find the dragon carved into a tree.

For us, the Shower stall could be a foot bigger in each direction. I'm not a fan of Monks Lanes as it's single track with some passing places but sharp bends.

The property provided a nice base for a visit to west wight.

Clean, tidy property. As described in advert. Owner provided nice little touches with a goody basket and useful info. The milk in the fridge was a very welcome find, along with tea coffee and sugar for a nice cuppa.

Shower is small - may be a little difficult for a large or not very mobile person.

Beautiful Sea and Sky Views

This is a beautiful location, very peaceful and everything we needed. We really enjoyed our 2nd stay at Brambles Chine.

The only very small thing is the space around the main bedrooms bed one side and at the bottom are very narrow which made getting in and out a bit of an issue.

Location is great. Really quiet and peaceful with great views over the coast. Plenty of space and parking. Great comms with the owner and my only issue was sorted out promptly.

A must place to stay

The chalet and host is amazing

Staying at 88 Brambles Chine was absolutely fantastic, the host was very responsive prior to arrival for any questions or concerns, the chalet is it's self is extremely clean and cosy with everything you will need for a stay, the host has made sure everything is ready, guides for local attractions and a lovely board of best places to visit. Even the little touches such as board games, and Netflix on the TV helped in the evenings when children was in bed. The welcome gift basket on arrival was especially lovely, Thank you again for a wonderful stay

Very good

The hosts communication is brilliant nothing is too much trouble. The welcome gift is a lovely touch and the kids loved there pressies too. The chalet is clean and tidy and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Will definitely book again.

Furniture uncomfortable and outdated Crockery and cutlery was a mush mash probably bought at a boot fair The shower is so small could not turn round Not value for payment Would not recommend

Good for walking coastal paths

Nicely situated between Totland and Yarmouth. An easy coastal walk to both. Good facilities and spacious lounge/kitchen. There's a kids activity playground. For the adults there's pitch & putt and tennis court on the site. Also a small scale football pitch. We would not hesitate booking this accommodation again. Good value.

Quiet location, clean property

A well laid out, clean property in a quiet location, yet only a few minutes away from Yarmouth, Totland or Freshwater, with a nice view across the Solent. The property was also warm and cosy when the weather turned stormy during the first few days of our stay. Free parking opposite property, Wifi and Freeview are also provided. The two mini wines awaiting our arrival were a nice touch !

Warm and cosy Comfortable bedrooms Smart TV and a good size Clean Good location The wine and bics were much appreciated

A bit short of comfortable leisure seating. The Ikea chair was great. The sofa bed not so great!

The overall experience was excellent and the welcome basket was a really nice touch

Even though it wasn’t a specific problem to our stay,it would be worth having the bathroom window’s catch looking at.
