Perfect getaway location

Great hotel, only 40 rooms so feels like you’ve the place to yourself. Staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. Room over looking the pool was great, good size and all you need. The spa includes free access to jacuzzi, sauna and steam room and I would highly recommend getting a massage (prices are not too bad)! There’s a chill out area which pool table and cocktails from the bar are fab! Location is great, 3 mins walk to the beach which you pass a fab Italian restaurant and on the beach there are a few bars, the one on the right we had a great fish meal in one of the nights. If you are looking for something a little more peaceful then this is your spot. We got a Uber into Albufeira one of the nights and was so glad we were staying out of that madness.

The bed had a mattress protector made of plastic so when you moved it made noise and was not comfortable as we were roasting with it but easy solution, just remove it and remake the bed. Breakfast options were lovely and tasty but limited so after a few days we were a little bored with it, perhaps maybe it could be changed up each day? Two very small things which would not stop me from recommending this place!

Un agréable séjour au centre de l'Algarve

Hôtel moderne bien aménagé doté d'une très jolie piscine avec de larges abords. Accueil très sympathique et délicate attention dans la chambre (bouteille de vin mousseux offerte). Bon petit déjeuner. Chambre de bonne dimension et lumineuse.

A complete eacape!

Absolutely brilliant

Clean rooms, spacious, with balcony, pool, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, spa, bar and restaurant. The breakfast set up and selection is great. Made use of the spa and it was lovely especially the facials! Left my face super smooth. The best part was I had a surprise from the hotel where on my birthday I was out and came back to a lovely chocolate cake and a bottle of wine for me to celebrate my birthday. The best part was I didn’t tell them but they must have noticed when I checked in and they decided to be intentional. Now that was the highlight of my stay. Can’t thank the staff enough for making my stay here a wonderful one. Highly recommended!!!

Book it!! Cannot fault this beautiful hotel!

This hotel is beautiful, the gardens and pool area are immaculate with plenty of space and always a comfy sunbed no matter what time of day it is. The staff are very attentive, professional and friendly. Breakfast was delicious with a good choice of hot and cold and cava! and there is a lovely restaurant for dinner and a pizza restaurant next door. The rooms are extremely clean and big, our bed was huge and so comfy! The shower was very powerful and big bath sheets! The resort is very quiet but the beach is just down the road with 3 restaurants/bars. We also found an Indian, Seafood and Chinese restaurant about a ten/fifteen minute walk inland. I would recommend this hotel 100% and would definitely go again!

The pillows were lumpy and I wish I'd asked to replace them. Booking.com advertised a free taxi to this hotel but never included details of how to book and then denied it when I messaged them.

Exceptional in every aspect - highly recommended!

We last visited in 2014, at which time we were hugely impressed by every aspect of the stay. Returning after so many years, we were unsure if we would be able to repeat the wonderful experience we had, however everything was perfect and we look forward to returning, hopefully sooner this time!

The Vila Gale collection Praia is an excellent hotel with an unbeatable location in Albufeira.

The complimentary breakfast was really very nice. We came from the Epic Sana so we had been a bit spoiled (their breakfast was really excellent)- Gale was a smaller version and they had an omelet and crepe maker which was nice. The check in at Gale was absolutely 💯- Louisa was very attentive and informative. We were delighted to come to our room and find some bubbly and chocolate strawberries after telling her we were celebrating something special. This is a very quiet resort and great for couples.

We were a little disappointed that they charge to use the tennis court on site, as well as renting rackets and balls. It seemed a bit tacky considering the level of service at the hotel- it was right behind the pool and not used at all by anyone during our 3 day stay.

Bed was a little hard for me as well as softer pillows would have been nice.

nice spa hotel, close to the beach

bed was very big, staff was amazing. the waitress at the breakfast buffet had so much energy, really made our days start on a cheerful note. very close to the beach and there was a nice cafe/surf shop just next to the hotel

will be nicer if the spa opened till later so people can enjoy it after a day of activities

A very relaxing stay with everything required to hand, and very comfortable accomodation.

An excellent location, close to a beautiful beach. The room was very well appointed, comfortable and well serviced. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always pleased to help with requests in the breakfast room. The pool and lounging area was very comfortable and attractive, with plenty of loungers and good service.

Very clean hotel with amazing staff.

Fantastic from start to finish. At check in we were given iced tea and fresh face cloths to freshen up for us to then find out our room was ready 4 hours before our check in date. The hotel is spotless with a lovely pool area, spa facilities and the restaurant for breakfast is outstanding.

Absolutely wonderful, staff should be complemented as they were absolutely lovely!

What a complete find! Have be visiting area for 35 years & our first stay here. Staff absolutely amazing & could not have been more helpful. Small & extremely personal hotel. We’ll definitely stay again. Thank you to every member of staff that made our stay so comfortable & wonderful.
