We loved the location but found the place outdated. Old furniture, bedding, pillows etc.

Location is unbeatable. Near Lakeshore Drive, The Hyatt, beach (if you have a pass that is not provided to renters). The condo is clean but needs updating. No AC. Beds are comfortable, everything works. Host was very responsive when I notified them of a problem with the coffee maker and leaky tub faucet. Not enough towels or dishes for 6 people. Bring paper plates if you want to cook or grill. Overall, I would rent again due to the location. Great parking as well.

Great location!

The property was nice and in a good location, just a few issues. 1) We weren't provided an access pass to the private beach, which we thought we would get. 2) The bed in the master room is a spring mattress and very uncomfortable. 3)There were no washcloths provided. Also, we loaded the dishwasher per the exiting instructions, but there wasn't any dish pods that we could find. 4)There's not anything for kids to do, so I would suggest bringing games. Otherwise, we enjoyed the our stay and Lake Tahoe!

The gas fireplace upstairs along with the downstairs thermostat kept the unit comfortably warm. The unit offered ample space for our group of 6 with a king bed, queen, and two twin beds. The unit was clean and all appliances worked well but the linens could use some updating (e.g., flat pillows and worn bedspreads). Overall a good place for a ski weekend.

The best thing about this property is its location, minutes walking distance to the beach and a short walk up the hill to restaurants and Raleys shopping center. Goldfish Properties Management was excellent with communication and responding quickly to any issues with the townhouse. The unit is good sized with ample parking. There is a nice deck off the living room.
As with most units built in the early 70's , the showers do not have thermostatic mixing valves so be advised that any water use while someone is showering will adversely affect the hot/cold levels. Master bedroom king size bed is as hard as a rock. We had to buy a foam topper to make it bearable. Bedroom dresser drawers fall out on the floor as there no glides. Kitchen is sparsely appointed with pans that have outlived their use life, a toaster that burnt everything and cooks knives that are all dull. The laundry room is large with ample storage space but the dryer should be replaced as it took many hours to dry beach towels. The outside deck had a propane bbq but a grease pan below it that had never been emptied. Exposed nail heads on the deck boards proved hazardous to bare feet. Lower level entrance is a bit of a trip hazard area from the walkway and the lower exterior door has a different lockset than the upstairs main entrance door. Might sound picky but would have been convenient if keys operated both locksets. The new refrigerator would not come down to set temperature but Goldfish Property Management responded immediately to our email and a technician arrived that day to resolve issue.

This rental property has a great location, however, it did not have adequate supplies for a rental. The kitchen lacked many supplies such as cutting boards, wine glasses, oven mitts, and carrot graders. There were no doormats for any of the doors. We bought mats in order to make sure we didn’t track in mud and snow. Goldfish Properties responded adequately by providing the needed equipment quickly. However, the overall comfort level of the rental was quite low. All of the bedding was old and worn out. There were not enough pillowcases for all of the pillows. One of the closet doors was broken and unsafe. The master bathroom is tiny and the carpet in all of the bathrooms is moldy. The showerhead in the master bath is too low for anybody taller than 5’5. You have to squat to get your head under the shower head. The pull out couch seemed to be broken and you couldn’t sit in the middle seat of the couch without sinking in. The couch pillows had holes in them. This was very disappointing because we rented the property for two weeks (overall cost was almost 10K) and asked to see the property over the summer to ensure the quality. We were not allowed to see the property beforehand. I would highly advise not renting this property. If you don’t care about cooking or the overall quality of the rental then it might work for you. We changed our flight and went home early. My mom and sister rented properties at the same time nearby for much less and they were much nicer. I have never given a negative review of a rental property before. Hopefully this is the only and last time.

Good Location.....Condo needs some TLC
First of all the location of the property is desirable. It is close to the lake (walking distance), and access to the walking/biking path. You are only a few minutes drive to grocery store , main avenue, and Starbucks. However, in the Covid-19 era, unless you have a beach access pass (reserved for residents), you will not have access to any of the three private Incline beaches. My property manager did make me aware of this in advance of my arrival, and I was fortunate to have friends that loaned us beach passes. I did notice that a number of other properties will include a beach pass as a part of their rental..
As for the property itself, there are some opportunities for improvement to be sure. Furniture, bedding, towels are very outdated and have reached their end life. Carpet is spotted and worn, and the blinds should be replaced as many of them are not easy to operate. Bathrooms are outdated as well. Sinks downstairs are slow to drain, and showers are set very low so anyone that stands over 5’8 will be bending down to wash their hair. Bedrooms are downstairs from main floor and unfortunately you will hear every step upstairs. This is disappointing if you are an early to bed type of person, or if you happen to be in a house with early risers. Upstairs floors are very soft and every step is amplified downstairs. Window blinds are bent and some do not even have draw strings. The deck is nice to have, but you are in very close proximity of neighbors (shared partition) and can hear their conversations, or in our case, smell their cigarette smoke.
As far as amenities, when we arrived for our week stay, there was limited papertowels and dishwasher soap. If you want a bath towel (poor quality) refreshed at all, you will need to do load of laundry as there is only one set per person. They have plenty of pillows, but not enough pillow cases if you want o use. The silverware did not include any sharp knives, can opener or blender (we like margaritas). Fortunately when I communicated with Prop Manager she had them dropped off later that day. No broom for sweeping, up, and the BBQ looked as though it had not been cleaned for a while. The fluorescent light in kitchen blinked off and on during our stay and was somewhat annoying when standing in the kitchen.
As I mentioned the location is very optimal, and I do think with some TLC this could be a more desirable property for future stays

Nice house, BAD maintenance
The good: the house itself is nice; we came at hot week and the bedrooms were nicely coold. We have problems with the WiFi and bathroom. The very nice maintenance guys came very fast.
The bad: many dishes, utensils etc. were NOT clean! There was a sign asking to take off the shoes; we did, but when we walk from the living room to it's balcony, we will scratch our feet on nail heads coming from the floor. Worst of all: the refrigerator is just above the main bedroom. when it works, you would think that a big bee is humming in the bedroom! Not the best way to sleep...

Loved our time at this house in Tahoe! Comfortable accommodations and good value for price.

Great location, unit needs an upgrade
The location is fantastic for summer stays. The furniture and appliances are all very old. The linens in particular were old. The spreads and blankets seemed like they hadn't been washed in forever. It was pretty gross. I had an allergic reaction because of the dust the first night.

A great week at Lake Tahoe
We love this property and its location relative to the lake.

Great location, cozy place
The property was very good. I never figured out quite where to throw the trash and when I followed the guidebook and left a phone message that we had trash to pick up, nobody ever called back or picked up the trash or told me what to do, so that could have been less confusing. Also the floodlights kept turning on and off on the deck at night (I fixed it, don't worry). But the location is great, like a block from the lake, and we were cozy there. So I recommend it. Have fun!

Quiet retreat in the pines.
Enjoyed our stay at this beautiful condo, only 2 blocks to the beach and a bit further to the Hyatt Incline Village resort. The condos are arranged like the spokes of a wheel around a central core, so you have views of the woods on 3 sides. It has all you need inside for 8 people and is so close to the attractions nearby, like the casino and dining at the Hyatt or entrance to the private beaches of Tahoe. Two story with entry on ground and second story. There was even a Starbucks a half mile away! What more could you ask for?
