Freundliche Mitarbeiter.

ATTENTION: It started as a pleasant stay and ended up a horrific experience.
To be honest I would rather forget the whole thing yet I thought it is something that cannot be ignored and must be reported.
I was giving a bath to my 6yo daughter when I noticed that the shower door was misaligned and not sliding properly.
I tried to balance it and pull it towards me since the water was spilling out. What followed next is truly a nightmare. The glass door fell apart first hitting my head and then breaking into pieces leaving me and my daughter with multiple cuts and unable to move since the bathroom was now full of tiny pebbles. I tried to remain calm and although my hands were hurting I somehow managed to grab her and take her out of the bathroom with a towel.
While I was trying to take care of my daughter and comfort her inconsolable crying, a hotel employee came knocking as we had ordered room service. When he witnessed the situation he immediately ran out of the room to bring us gauzes and antiseptic that would treat our wounds and stop the bleeding. Fortunately they were all minor cuts that did not need any further medical attention.
Then, that same hotel staff member helped us move to another room, the only one available we were told. That room although same in size was unfortunately an inferior type of room. There was a constant smell coming from the bathroom, the shower was missing a sliding door, the air conditioner was not working properly ( I set it at 28 ° C at night but the room’s temperature could not be adjusted, it was very cold all the time) , it had two separate beds and not a large one as before, and generally the furniture looked shabby.
At that time I complained to the polite staff member but he said there was nothing else he could do and that it would be sorted with the hotel owner the next morning.
So next morning, my daughter and I went down to the lobby for breakfast. The hotel owner was also there helping with breakfast being
served. To my surprise, she never came to ask if we were ok or to discuss what happened so after we finished eating I approached her in a calm manner to highlight the incident and ask whether we can receive any kind of compensation. The answer was negative and abrupt which of course came as a shock. As I didn’t want to make a scene I decided to stop the discussion and move on with our day.
The next day it was time for us to check out and leave the hotel so when the hotel owner at the reception desk asked me to pay for the outstanding amount I revisited the matter and demanded that we should be offered a discount, a voucher or anything else that would at least show some respect or caring. It was 5 minutes later that I realized this was not getting me anywhere. No matter what I said she and her father who later showed up, claimed that it was our fault that the shower door shattered and specifically her father words were “ no glass breaks on its own”.
Doesn’t it leave you speechless? I have no words to describe how that made me feel. I paid with my credit card and left the building.

The room was very clean and with nice modern bathroom, equipped with basic cosmetic products you might need, a table and chair in the room and a balcony facing the main street with a nice view. The location was very good, 5 mins walk to the esplanade with all bars and restaurants and 15 mins walk to the city center on the other side (hotel is placed in between the city center and the beach. The pool at the roof was very clean and during our stay there was no one using it so the atmosphere was very calm and relaxing, basically a private pool for ourselves. The breakfast offered all basic breakfast meals you might want and what I really appreciated was its great quality: freshly squeezed orange juice, good quality cheeses and hams, plenty of vegetables and other sweet pastries. I have visited plenty of higher ranked hotels and in most of them the breakfast offer was on cheaper side so I was pleasantly surprised how good and of a great quality the breakfast food/products were.
At the time of our stay the water pressure in the shower was not that great so if someone has thicker or too curly hair to wash it might take some time. Maybe it was just a momentarily problem of a bit lower pressure.

Comfy boutique is a fantastic hotel in Kalamata - great location, both beach and city center within walkable distance. Everyone working at the hotel was super nice and helpful. They helped us arrange laundry, renting a car etc. The roof top pool was really nice as well. We are coming back for sure. Thanks!

Staff were polite and one girl tried to be helpful
The decor was shabby and the room rather soulless. Breakfast was poor. We booked for 3 nights but moved on after 2 nights.

Nothing special
The friendliness of the staff. Vicky in particular: attentive, friendly and thoughtful. The room was very clean and well kept.

Very friendly staff that helped us with all our questions and problems. They even provided us with the ice and glasses for our own drinks.
The AC was loud so that we could barelely sleep. The whole "design" of the hotel is a little 'off'. Looks better in pictures.

Very close to the sea front and also close to the Main Street leading to the town centre and old town.
You can walk there in 15 mins or hop on the bus which runs frequently between the prom and town centre.
Staff were all extremely helpful , friendly and efficient. They even managed to find a way for my husband to watch a Scotland football match on TV.
The hotel was spotlessly clean and really Covid aware as was the breakfast protocol and service.
The rooftop pool was lovely and the hotel decor is very stylish.
I would definitely stay there again!
I was happy with everything !
