Exceptional

The owner and all the staff were polite, courteous, friendly, and efficient. My daughter was getting married here, we stayed overnight, and I can't fault anything.

There's nothing to dislike, probably the best place my wife and I have ever stayed. We'll definitely be back. Thanks to everyone there.

Lovely Manor House with fabulous hosts

The bed was super comfy and the room plenty big enough, even though we had to duck down a lot 😂 The breakfast was lovely and the hosts and staff excellent.

The steep winding stairs and low beams but it all adds to the charm of the property

Gorgeous B & B

Stunning peaceful location and gorgeous house.

My room was beautiful- just one tiny comment bearing in mind this was a large room & I needed to duck under the gorgeous original beams...I'd have liked a mirror at the dressing table with a small bin so I didn't have to walk backwards & forwards to the bathroom to dispose of wipes, paper etc. & could have sat down and done my face/hair etc. Thanks for a lovely stay!

A beautiful manor in a gorgeous country location. The manor is tastefully furnished in keeping with its history but the atmosphere is chilled, very friendly and relaxing. The breakfast is very good.

The bedroom was lovely, a great size and very clean. Leo was very accommodating and reassuring that if I needed anything during my stay he would be happy to help.

one night in an interesting house. owner very friendly and helpful. the room was warm and the bed comfortable.

lovely old property. has been renovated but still has great character.

the shower was over the bath but the bath was high sided which made it difficult to get in and out of. nothing to hold onto for support

Lovely hotel that could be made much better, easily

Really lovely building, great history and super pretty at Christmas. The host when out of their way to ensure that we had vegan food for breakfast.

Small TV for the price of the room. No stand-up shower, which really impacted the stay. I know it's an old building, but there could be a hung shower curtain above the bath and the shower attached to the wall. It would make all the difference. The bad could do with a memory form topper as it is a little too hard.

this hotel was located in such a lovely wee village. So, mine was an unplanned stay and I was very pleased I chose this wonderful Hotel

The access to the Butlers Room was a little difficult for my knees. However, the space is wonderful.

Beautiful Manor House , In a lovely little village . we stayed in the Lady’s room & it was stunning, comfortable & immaculately clean , worth every penny . We also had breakfast , which we couldn’t fault , only wish we had stayed longer as we only stayed the 1 night on our way up to York for a long weekend.

We visit for 1 night a year ago for our honeymoon so for our anniversary we stayed 2 nights as we loved it.. and still this place is amazing in every way. So we’ll done to Leo, his wife and staff

Lovely beautiful building and the room was stunning. Had such a wonderful stay. Can’t wait to return. Breakfast was brilliant as well. Had a lovely evening meal at the Welby Arms which is across the road in the village.

Beautiful place!

Beautiful Jacobean manor house, and historic surroundings in the quaint village of Allington! Room was gorgeous with antique furniture and double ended bath in bedroom! Breakfast was exceptional and the owner couldn’t have been more helpful! Lovely stay, would go back in a heartbeat!

Excellent hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. The history and architecture of the house is amazing.

A must stay

This is a little gem.. the manor is beautiful and the welcome and hospitality is outstanding..Leo could not do enough for us and the young lady(sorry I have forgotten her name) was so obliging. We were blessed with good weather so sat in the garden with a bottle of wine and enjoyed the company of Bonnie and Clyde the kittens. It was so relaxing and peaceful. I would recommend this property to everyone & plan going back in the near future
