good location, close to piste. wonderful views towards La plagne direction. seemed to be well sound proofed - quiet at night
lack of sharp knives. small kitchen, no oven. long walk inside the building to get to boot room

Pool changing area could have been cleaner, long walk from room to ski area/reception

Last year, check-in was complete chaos, but things were much more smooth this year. The online check-in process is very useful and practical. However, there is one thing they forgot about: PARKING.
Nonetheless, the hotel is ideally located directly next to the ski slopes (main lift is Carreley which is directly accessible from the hotel square).
For the non-French guests: The hotel tries to charge the credit-card stored on booking.com. This is not possible due to 3ds security and you will get a message about that. In order to do the payment, you have to login to the site of Odalys, but this can only be done through the English version of the site and not through the French version of the site. Therefore, when creating an account or logging in: First change to the English Language and then log in. The other way around does not work...
When arriving to the hotel, every customer still has to go to the reception desk to get access to the parking facility. There, you can validate the ticket and register your license plate to access the parking. This could easily be one online during check-in. At the least, the code to the parking can be shared in advance for arriving guests so they can pay for parking on Sunday when there is no queue at the reception.

The apartment was a good size, comfortable and well equipped. The location was excellent - we could ski in and out of the complex, even though it was the end of the season and the snow was going. All the essentials - bar/restaurant, ski hire, a small shop, the pool and the garage - were in the buildings of the complex; and if you wanted to go down to the main part of the resort there was a small (free) bubble lift.
Although most of the check-in was done online, we still had to queue to get our room key and complete other formalities: paying local tax, paying for the garage, swiping a card for the security deposit. Everything else about this place is so good it's a shame they can't find a way to get the whole of this process online, or at least more streamlined.
Also the sofa bed sagged in the middle (but most of them do!).

Property was in a fantastic location for Ski in and Ski out. Nice restaurant on site serving good food.
Not necessarily fault of property but booked via Booking.com. On this site some of the pictures of SPA area were used to promote property. There is an additional charge for use of this SPA which is not clearly indicated so misrepresentation. However there was sauna, steam room and pool available free of charge.

Very convenient location and really liked the fact it was 'ski in - ski out'
Check in was a bit manic on change over day

Pool was great
The ski shop on site (Precision ski) was appauling. Do not recommand them. Appauling service 2 hours wait to get our ski. Ski equipment of poor quality. Service appauling, rude and unhelpful when we returned our equipment. We decided to hire our equipment there because of the location.
We had better service few years ago when we hired our ski equipment from Intersport down in the resort the Arcs 1800.
Member of restaurant next door rude as well specially with single people. You need to make sure that they treat your guest properly if you want them to come back.

great location for the slopes. convenient food shop and ski hire shop in complex. relatively spacious apartments compared to others I’ve stayed in.
I found I was too cold in the apartment especially at night. the heating system was not sufficient to warm the apartments

great location, very helpful friendly staff. ski in/out quite easily with plenty of covered parking space.
Not a huge issue but no oven only a microwave/grill so a bit limited on cooking options.

We liked the pool and restaurant
7.0 / 10.0
The location is absolutely great, and especially for the pistes
The little shop / supermarket is fantastic
They were really helpful getting our party rooms together
The kitchen was well equipped
The rooms look a little dated and tired
The sofa and the carpets really need a freshen up, the sofa bed was not great to sleep on, in our room
The pool area was very underwhelming, and did not feel fresh, but this maybe some post Covid paranoia.
It was a peak season week, but I wish we knew how difficult it was to book the restaurant. The night we did get in, the food was good

Restaurant, the room, the ski domain.
Pool, parking, not high enough entrance for cars with a roof box.

The three hotel buildings are ideally situated on the ski-slopes. We stayed in the 'Souverain' building, which is maybe 100 meters from the slopes. An easy, completely flat, walk in ski boots, even for kids. The Carreley lift is in walking distance from the hotel buildings and takes you up to Arc 1950/2000 in no time (Google Maps shows a completely wrong picture of the lifts' locations). As the Carreley lift does not go down all the way to Arc 1800, it's never really crowded. A ski-school representative (ESI) is located in the hotel and ski-rental is just outside (Precision-ski). A small supermarket is also on premise.
We stayed in a 6-person room with two bedrooms (+/- 50 m2). The apartment is spacious and well-equipped with a fridge, microwave+grill, dishwasher (bring your own soap), Nespresso machine, etc. The two bedrooms each have their own ensuite bathroom, but the beds are a bit too short.
The apartment is NOT SUITABLE for six people. While there is a sofa bed, it is clear that six guests cannot stay here. There is no place to sit together to watch TV (there's only the sofa-bes / couch and one chair) and the balcony has only room for four people. Also the tiny ski-locker downstairs can only accommodate four sets of boots and skis.
The parking garage is ideally located under the hotel. Upon arrival, you take the ticket to the reception, pay 75 euro and you can leave the car in the garage all week. Cheaper than other covered parking garages and the same price as parking outside everywhere else in the resort.
WIFI is excellent. The kids could watch Netflix without any buffering.
The check-in was complete chaos.
Days before arrival, all guests got e-mails to check-in online stating that you would receive an SMS if the room is available without the need of going through reception. Nobody I spoke to actually go the SMS. Instead, every guest had to go through the reception to check their QR codes and receive bracelets (a proof of the QR code when accessing the pool).
We arrived around 14:00 and there was already a line to outside. This did not change until much later that evening. There was simply not enough staff and all staff repeated the entire check-in process even for people who did this online already. Each guest hat to be asked to pay for parking (why was this not done online at checkin too?) and some guests were asked to pay the deposit (we weren't asked). The reception area was completely croweded and by far the least Covid-proof area all week.
We checked in at 13:00, but could not go to the room yet. Instead, we parked the car in the garage and went skiing. When we came back at 17:00 to pick up the keys, even that took half an hour and many, many people did not get into their rooms before very late that night. This process should be made much smoother!
Inside the hotel, people were supposed to wear masks and elevators had limited capacity (clearly signposted everywhere). Unfortunately, most of the Dutch guests seemed to disagree. Masks were often not worn and people got upset when we would ask them to take the next elevator. Staff of the hotel did not seem to care too much.

excellent close to piste, good drive/access by car, very nice to be able to park car in garage, fine complete appartment and smart layout, good wifi.
hard beds
showers not warm around 16.00-17.00. clearly when lots of people return from skiing the heating can’t cope and either you accept a cold showe or wait for many hours until warm water again.

This is apartment residence. It has new furniture and facilities inside, which is comfortable.
The service of the personnel is totally not client-oriented. The hotel staff couldn’t provide accurate information about the services around, which are vital for its clients. The residence claims to be 5star, and one has to pay for spa service. There’re no animal zones around hotel. You get out of the entrance and there’re dog’s ‘ka-ka’ around.

TL;DR, The hotel falsely advertises its amenities, star rating, and condition. Its manages displays a pattern of behavior that lacks integrity.
The state of the hotel:
The hotel is commonly advertised as a 5-star hotel with amenities like a swimming pool; spa, good service, parking, and more.
What you'll find instead is a super dirty hotel with cigarette burn marks, food stain, dog poo marks, and general bad smell anywhere except the reception.
As for the rooms; our shower was broken, the TV and remote did not work, and the state of the room was generally poor.
The swimming pool seems to not belong to the hotel as there is an extra charge and anyone was able to get in even if they are not a guest. Other facilities were either non-existent or closed; either way, we did not get to use them.
Honesty:
The hotel had received instruction from the resort/government to not check-in guests and ask existing guests to leave the night before we checked in. Despite the instruction we were told we were going to have an awesome week when we checked in; the hotel staff promised no issues, keeping this information hidden.
The following day the hotel manager demanded we leave by the end of the day forcing us and other guests into the madness of trying to arrange flights and transfers, refusing to help in any possible way. One example was when the manager refused to help to translate from French to English.
Those transfers cost 500 Euros Just before we left, the hotel manager changed his mind letting us know we were welcomed to stay 'for as long as we wanted'. Nevertheless, we were told that Odaly's would not make any charges on our credit cards.
They charged us the FULL AMOUNT and ever since then refuse to give us the money back, despite the fact we gave them no permission to do so, and that the services were ever provided.
To make things worse they have offered a voucher.

Lovely access to pistes, ski lockers are well organized, staff helpful. During the madness of vacances scolaires it’s nice to be up the hill a bit.
Smoky smell on arrival; the older building has issues w heaters, lights, and even kitchen. Each year it seems they include less - this year we even had to buy TP.
It was our third year renting from same operator, first time we took TGV instead of our car: property seems better adapted to cars, people who haul stuff from Bourg St M.

Great location. Clean Apartment. Good kitchen.
Spa included in the package is small, sauna and pool is cold. No facilities to dry your ski apparel, boots. Don't leave your wet shoes in locker - it's cold.
It is an impression that Edenarc tries to reduce expenses as much as possible despite the high price you pay for a room - cold pool, no room heating at night, no toilet paper, no heating at ski locker, instead of improving existing Spa they opened new one for additional money.

The appartement was modern, well furnished, very convenient with a fantastic view on the slopes. Service team is very nice.
Terrible check in. After a long driving, we expected to have the apartment available at 2pm. We only had it at 6:30pm with no possibility to access the ski room. The housework was not at the level of the resort and common spaces (corridors) had never been cleaned from the beginning to the end of the week.
