I was welcomed by reception so warmly and that was awesome.

It was central to where I needed to be easy access and my children had the best time. The staff were friendly and approachable

Shady Rest was clean and comfortable, having the basics available after a long days drive.

There was nothing specific that stood out that we liked. The room was what we were after for the night, and that is good with the basics.

I would have preferred a dishcloth and diswash to wash cups and teaspoons etc, after use. Otherwise everything else was good.

Great value for money.

The location was easily found just off the highway, but in a quiet cul-de-sac. We were only staying 1 night and Shady Rest were able to provide a room that fitted our entire family of 5 in at great price. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable.

The interior is starting to get a little dated, but this did not worry us at all.

Pleasant overnight accommodation where staff were friendly, smiling and helpful.

Motel allowed us to arrive late and to get later checkout. Room was spotless and clean. staff were friendly and engaging. The manager (lady) was pleasant to deal with and talk to. All round, it was a pleasant overnight stay.

There was some excess ice in the freezer unit of the fridge and we did not have any milk (for tea) in the fridge until morning.

The accommodation suited us as late check in was provided and ut was close to the highway.

Our late arrival was considered by turning a light and fan on

The pillows were cheap and nasty. As we were late arriving we were not provided with milk to make a cuppa in the morning.

I will look for another location next time in Gympie

The Room was reasonable but it did back onto the main Highway It said It was off the main highway while technically the entrance was the rooms were not. I chose it based on that so my mistake. I felt the room was overpriced but I thinks it supply and demand!

Convenient location off the main highway on a service road. Room was basic but clean.

Wifi connection was intermittent and dropped out. Mattresses were a bit hard. Room was clean but did have a faint urine smell to it (maybe it was close to a vent?) so kept bathroom door closed.

A good distance from the highway compared to other Gympie Hotel options, much quieter and don’t need earplugs.

Quiet Clean Lovely staff - they called me ASAP when I’d left my jumper behind.

I had a little trouble with the wifi, the signal strength was ok but the connection through to the internet could drop occasionally so good for browsing and email but unsuitable for a Zoom/Teams live meeting

Easy Access

Easy checkin/checkout. Close to township.

Beds had castors without locking function which meant that beds easily moved around and away from walls. Constantly had straighten beds.
