Great location for accessibility to Hampden, close to shops bars and places to eat.
The only down side was when we went for a shower in the morning the shower failed to come on. When turning the dial you could here something was loose. After numerous calls contacting the hotel via booking.com and then contacting booking.com someone appeared as we where leaving after about 10 minutes they got it to come on but at this point it was too late.

Location was great. It was local to town centre, shops, restaurants and places to visit. All within walking distance.
The access system. The reception is in a separate building to the hotel rooms. Both buildings are old. There is no card access. One key opens the entrance door to the hotel building, which I thought was a back door and the same key also opens my room door. The locks.on both doors were old, broken and loose. This made me feel very wary and uneasy given I am female and was there.for one night on my own. I ended up dragging the sofa chair to block the door for my peace of mind. Unfortunatley, I did not sleep well at all. The walls are very thin and the person in the room next to me was snoring very loudly. I am guessing the bed in their room was right next to the wall. I ended up having to play music on my phone to drown it out. I didn't have head/earphones so had to place my phone right next to my head so that only I could hear it. In the morning I could hear the person speaking; he was talking at a normal.level but that showed how thin the walls are as I could hear his conversation word for word.

Everything was perfect for our stay, we will definitely return when next in the area

Both in one - worst place I have ever stayed at, and the most expensive one. First of all, there's no option to write to them in booking, their phone number does not have either Whatsapp or Telegram, so there's basically no way to contact them if you don't have free calls to the UK. Ok, you arrive and surprisingly, there is someone to welcome you. However it turns out that you will use the same key for your room, as for the main building. Thus, everyone else can open your room, should they want to. Then, walls are as if built of paper, you hear loudly every time a door is opened and when people are walking or talking. Fourth, the cleaning women move everything in the room the way THEY want it, INCLUDING your personal stuff, this is simply not okay. Fifth, they do not offer proper shampoo, so you must either buy one or wash your hair with soap. The shower is not the easiest to navigate with, either. And last but not the least, the Wifi is not working half of the time (starts, then stops, and then repeats). Fine, when you ask them to fix it, their answer is "We'll come to you in 10 min and check" and they never show up. Again, NOT worth the money at all, there are only cons, not a single positive about it.

There was Absolutely nothing to like, the receptionist was rude and aggressive and demanded cash for my later arrival, he threw my bag outside when I said I have no cash and explained I have a card on my phone I can pay with. He then resorted to trickery and gave me a key to a room in the outside building next to the reception, knowing very well it would not work. He then ran back inside, locked the door and went back to bed. In retrospect I could see he was angry from being woken up as he had mentioned earlier. I thought it was part of his job to greet the guests.
The fact that I was deceived which made me feel as though I had been stolen from, rude aggressive behaviour which made me feel unsafe and unwelcome. I drove up from London and cannot find any hotels they are all booked up amazing! considering I've already paid for one.l have a very important business meeting and I haven't slept yet.

The location and parking were perfect. The gardens are so lovely. The lady on reception was ever so polite and welcoming. I'd describe the building as a large old house. I felt safe and I was at Hampden Park for a concert and the location couldn't have been better! The shower was lovely, I booked superior double and was very pleased. The bed was really comfortable there was just a funny smell in the kettle so I bypasses making a coffee before we went out.
Only issue was the kettle had an odd smell. Everything else was great and I'd stay here again

Good hot shower
Close to Hampden Park
Walls like paper could hear man next door snoring, not a hotel more like rent a room, no where to eat or drink, noone around to ask if needed anything, no wardrobe just a 30 cm rail and 3 hangers!

I only stayed there for one night to have a place to sleep after a party. It was the cheapest option and close to where the party was.
10 am check out time. Dated. Humid.

I like that the rooms were sizable and at least cleaned up
It says on all the doors and hallways "NO SMOKING" Yet! people were smoking in one of the rooms next to the first room they gave me. Playing loud music and making a lot of noise yet the hotel didn't do anything about it and when i complained, they said there was no other room to give me until I threatened to cancel and get a refund, they had to give me another room upstairs but yet didn't do anything to stop those smoking/noise/loud music. The communal areas not clean and doesn't smell nice. Some strange guys standing by the side of the entrance door smoking with their hands in their pocket looking like hoodlums. I think the management support all these.

Really nice room, and comfortable bed
Really noisy guests talking loud and shouting to eachother, and making a noise including music after 6am and after 7am. Also doors banging at all times

Nice neighbourhood
Very noisy place - unconsidered member of the stuff would talk loudly in the corridor + were disturbed by hoovering at 8:30am during a Bank holiday Monday.

the property was 10 minute walk to Hampden Park
it was very warm and windows didn’t appear to open, found the key hidden the following day
4.0
Comfortable, clean room, ideal for an overnight stay, and easy walking distance to both Hampden Park and city centre. Good parking on site.
Could not access the wifi, and poor coverage for our mobile network (EE) in the area. Building exterior a little shabby.
