Accueil chaleureux pour un petit déjeuner romantique dans le salon du château avec vue sur le parc. Une très belle découverte du château et de son parc. La chambre écossaise en haut de la tour est magnifique.

Wonderful house, very friendly staff (and dogs). But just a single overnight stay, so hard to assess properly.
Not much. Having the means to make tea in the morning would be good. And not many British people actually drink Earl Grey tea. Best going for English breakfast tea. And, apologies, but most of us take it with milk (fresh).

Everyone was very friendly, our room was so comfortable and immaculately prepared. We enjoyed a truly delicious breakfast and enjoyed a long walk in the grounds with our dog afterwards. it was a thoroughly enjoyable stay, thank you!

The spaciousness. The very excellent breakfast in beautiful surroundings. The host would not hear of any recompense for a broken glass. Delightful hosts. I would certainly visit them again.

Beautiful rooms in an old romantic chateau. Very friendly staff. Delicious breakfasts!
Maybe a few more recommendations about where to get food if you arrive late would be good. Lunch and dinners not provided.

We liked that it was not an Hotel, it was a well maintained family chateau and the expectation was that we behaved in a quite and considerate manner. This made for a very pleasant atmosphere. An excellent breakfast was served around one large dining room table.

very nice castle and well decorated.
the dog was beautiful and the space was very pleasant for the children
there is no food provided in the castle. we were also left to ourselves, the guests were not in and it may have lacked the intimacy we were seeking with the host (to learn about the history of the castle…)
we also had to leave one day early due to personal issues (with baby child) and the manager was not very flexible with reimbursement, which we expected but at the end of the day, this did not leave us a nice touch feeling!

Property is quirky & interesting. lovely peaceful location.
An honesty bar would have been lovely. Or ice perhaps.

the swimming pool, the castle itself, the living room where we had the great breakfast. very quiet and peaceful.
some sockets could be added in the rooms. Also, we had to wait a very long time in the shower to have hot water. Some tissues and a second bin could also be added.
