Easy, clean and comfortable

I only slept there so didn't really see the facilities outside the room and didn't see any staff, but it was easy to get access to, the room was fine - shower very hot and powerful. I couldn't get a parking space in the car park as it was full, (doesn't seem to have enough spots for the number of rooms, but maybe people brought more than 1 car each). However it was only a short trip to the street and the parking there was free and it is a wide road in a pretty good neighbourhood, so that wasn't a problem.

I had an upstairs room which meant I didn't have an outside seating area. Really not a major issue as there was communal seating downstairs outside which was clean, available and shady. There may have been other areas that I didn't see as well. Really, everything was fine.

This place was super disappointing. They emailed AND texted in the lead up, really adamant about knowing exactly when we’re checking in, felt overbearing. The cost of the room withdrawn off my bank card before we even arrived on the day, despite the terms on Booking.com being pay on arrival. Weird tense atmosphere at the check in, certainly not a welcoming vibe. Dust all around the room, stains where something has leaked down the wall and not been wiped off, damp smell, black mould in the bathroom due to no exhaust fan. Noisy through the walls and with neighbours slamming screen doors. Not even a doona on the bed, just a light blanket. Daylight robbery for the $155 one night. I hate giving such poor reviews, but I feel it’s necessary in this case. Avoid staying here.

Recently renevated motel, close to kiama shops

Looks recently renevated and it is postioned back from the road so quiet for sleeping. Two free bottled water in the fridge was nice :)

Comfort on a budget

Comfortable and cozy - did the job for a quick weekend stay. Fair rate and easily accessible. Rooms are quaint but what else do you need other than a comfy bed? Staff friendly and easy to check in/out.

The hot water took a little bit to get going.

Refurbished newly, comfortable and choice of pillows.

Even after closing shutters, still can hear cars in the morning. I slept until morning without hearing that so not a big deal.

Won’t be going there again..

The picture above, is what I expected, not an old room, with a ,tittle tv .. a small basin

Expected to wash your own cups up. Receptionist wasn’t that nice. I asked for another room, the look she gave me, was enough.. not very friendly.. The room we were given, was horrible, for $200 a night, which we stayed two nights. Could have gone somewhere else if we weren’t asked to pay up when we booked it, no cancellations fee refund. Kiama is beautiful, shame the. Motel doesn’t make more effort, in good spot.

Modest and affordable

The location was not bad, the room was super clean, comfortable bed and very friendly staff :) It’s a modest place, pretty convenient for two people or if you’re travelling solo.

We had a very happy stay.

Was glad to see you had a toaster and we could make our own breakfast.

Basically it was a place to sleep for a night and not in my car as I was working in Kiama

Kind and honest staff

The staff are exceptional. I had lost my wallet outside and they immediately notified me even though it was late in the night. Incredibly honest and kind.

It was clean and tidy, well located and affordable

The shower head was tilted inwards and wasn’t able to be easily changed. The stairs where steep and dangerous in the rain.

Great accommodation

Friendly staff, the room was quiet and clean. The room was larger than I thought it would be and plenty of natural light. Beds were super comfy.

Only criticism would be the bathroom shower door opening outwards touching the floor so it would push the bath mat with it.

We were warmly welcomed. It's a basic motel that is clean and has what you would expect.

The pillow was very hard so didn't sleep well the first night. When I mentioned this, the lady at reception searched around for a better pillow which made a huge difference.

Reasonably priced and good location

Small but very clean. It had cutlery , dishes and a microwave as well as usual jug and toaster. Very handy. Shower would be too small for a larger person.
