We actually visited the village of Tsangarada for a Christening. The Iris Guesthouse was located very close to breathtaking beaches that definitely need to go on your “To visit list” like Fakistra beach and Milopotamos. The room was so comfortable and the owners so kind. We even got a flat tire and they volunteered to fix it on our behalf and didn’t even charge us anything.
The breakfast every day was offered at a predetermined our that suited our schedule. Everything was freshly prepared including local pies, jam, omelettes and much more.
We definitely want to go back.
Pilion, the area itself is not that easy to access so we do recommend renting a car to get there. Other than that nothing. Everything was amazing.

Our experience was wonderful. The rooms were very comfortable, the breakfast abundant and delicious with typical Greek, homemade dishes. The owner was very helpful with suggestions and advice.
Nothing.

The place is sparkling clean, modernly equipped and tastefully decorated. The view of the Aegean and the full moon from my balcony was simply stunning. Bed is super comfortable and linens are of the highest quality. The breakfast offers great variety and everything is freshly made. The owners and staff are nice and polite and do care to give their customers the best service.
Overall it was a great choice and I will be happy to return!
Even though the hotel is in the village, the location is quite a walk to restaurants and the square. It is very pleasant in daylight, but after dark you have to watch your step, as there are no pavements in the street and the lighting is insufficient. It is a very short drive though. The hotel is terrific.

Guesthouse Iris is one of the best places to stay in Tsakgarada. It’s spacious and peaceful and almost every room has a balcony overlooking the green hills and the Aegean. The homemade breakfasts are amazing and Olga and her team are incredibly sweet and welcoming. 💙💙💙

the duvet
didn’t live up to the image promoted in Booking.com.
NO STAFF. NO WELCOME. HAD TO LOCATE OUR ROOM AND KEYS. NO WATER, NO TEA ( just 2 sachets of Nescafé). Absolutely no communication with the owner. Disappointed and disgusted at the lack of professionalism related to the promise of a log fire a warm welcome and food.

The bed was very comfortable! Very clean, good air conditioning, excellent location. We really enjoyed our stay! Definitely recommended
The bathroom was pretty small and not that comfortable to move around.

Cleanliness is of a very high standard. Very nice and new bathroom. Very comfortable bed. The room was big enough to fit us and our little one easily! The staff was great, catering to our needs especially helping out with our requirements for our little kid! Breakfast was great and almost everything included in it where freshly gathered locally daily! In realty it is actually better than the pictures show it to be. The distance from the nearest beach is only 10minutes by car
Everything was great. Would not change anything! Keep up the good work! Hope to go back soon!
