Lovely cabin, sunrises were beautiful, accommodation clean, Roz and Don were lovely.
Not a lot. A little out of town, but suited us!

This is a great location with very friendly and easy going owners. I was there on business so I could not really enjoy it much, but if you have the opportunity to visit Napier and the surroundings in your free time, this is definitely a place to stay.

That little way out of Napier made it exceptionally quiet and get-away-for a while perfect. Andy, the dog, was a fine companion (and got the left-over ham!) Even the threat of a cyclone meant that we enjoyed the comfort at home even more. Hospitality was a light touch, but available if needed - and we appreciated the bottle of wine!
Nothing - it was all great.

Everything!!! The views were stunning

the property is located in the hills above Napier near small village of Bay View. Rural selling is very quiet and great views over Hawk’s Bay.
Nothing this stay is Absoluely recommended.

Beautiful location. Quiet and secluded. The lodge had everything required for a comfortable stay.
Owners were friendly. Extremely accommodating and offered local knowledge of plenty of things to enjoy during the stay
Andy was a huge hit and was always there to greet us
With having kids sleeping in the loft made for a very loud experience 😆. Easily solved by having the kids sleep in the lounge.

Beautiful sceneries especially sunrises and sunsets, lovely hosts and friendly animals.
Shower was weak for our curly haired girls.

Spacious and charming, the lodge has a very welcoming atmosphere. A quiet place within an easy distance to the city, the Grange Lodge offers spectacular views and a night sky to die for. The hosts are truly exceptional! Rose and Don go above and beyond to look after their guests. Homemade biscuits and port, tours around their farm, and even a well trained dog to pet and boss around! I suspect the dog was a favorite part of our stay for my children. The adults were more interested in wine, and on this topic Don is very knowledgeable and helpful- we have an army of bottles we brought back with us to prove it!

Traveling as a family of 6 (4 children) can be very difficult. We can almost never find accommodation that is large enough for us all without children having to bed share. The Grange Lodge was absolutely perfect. All of the children had their own bed, and us adults in a separate bedroom.
Hosts were lovely, including the dog. View was magnificent, perfect spot for a glass of wine on the deck. Can't begin to thank you enough for the small details, having milk and coffee ready and waiting after a long drive was priceless.
We will definitely be back (and we will remember to put out food scraps aside for the chickens next time 😁)

What a stunning peaceful location. A nice sea breeze on a hot day and a view right to the ocean. Peaceful and quite a really relaxing spot.

Hello. We were really happy with our stay at The Grange Lodge. It was spacious, but very cosy. Our girls loved the loft.....very magical looking into the night sky.
The grounds and view are beautiful.
I feel that Roslyn and Don would make it special for all guests....my hubby enjoyed some port, the girls enjoyed seeing the lambs and chocolate chip cookies and I was grateful for their graciousness. We all loved Andy ❤️
It’s a short drive from Napier, but there’s a little shop at the end of the road and I didn’t feel disadvantaged not being in town - if anything it made our stay more special.
The facilities are very good...it’s warm and exceptionally clean and tidy.
Our last stay in Napier was an old tent in a backpackers garden...we watched test match cricket every day. The Grange Lodge was definitely a step up!

We loved everything, great place to stay. Lovely touches, fresh flowers, fruit and wonderful port. The views are amazing and as we are country folk, no street lights or car noises are important to us.

Beautiful location, so peaceful and calm. The hosts were amazing, really good with children and had absolutely everything we could need ready for us. I cannot recommend this property enough, it was spectacular!!

The amazing view was my favorite part, Don and Ros are very accommodating and the lodge is absolutely beautiful, the location is perfect and our toddler absolutely loved the big porch he was able to play on during our stay.

Lovely location high on a hillside overlooking the Esk Valley. Comfortable, scrupulously clean rooms plus sunny outside terrace. Very welcoming hosts, delicious breakfast (whatever you want, just tell them the night before) using local produce.
Be aware that this accommodation is near Bayview about 10km from Napier, which is not obvious from the Napier address in the booking site information. This was fine for us but may be inconvenient for some.

Our accommodation was amazing, beautiful and clean. The views were absolutely gorgeous. We enjoyed the quiet time where we could recharged a bit. We can sum up our stay with Serenity in one word- Perfect. Our hosts Don and Ros were very friendly and I would recommend any one to stay at their beautiful place. It was truly special. Thanks again Don and Ros!
