The hotel was beautiful. Easy to get to and easy to park. Our room was spacious and breakfast on the terrace was great.
The staff was nice and attentive, but there seemed to be very few staff.

Everything - it is an absolutely wonderful place. The staff are totally brilliant, the lake-side location is utterly beautiful and the hotel building is so, so fabulous in its post-war splendour.
Nothing to dislike

The view was sublime. The food was delicious. The service was very good, friendly and helpful. Immaculate room and public areas. Fantastic art in public areas. Elegant, relaxing environment.
It was difficult to contact the hotel prior to arrival to ask for a taxi from the station. Phone calls, texts and emails were not answered. It was difficult to find contact details and the hotel’s own website. The bedroom would benefit from air conditioning.

Location of the hotel is superb--right on the lake and near enough to the island that you can row yourself over if you wish. Excellent breakfast. We had dinner two nights while we were there. The first night was for convenience, as we got in rather late, but the second night was by choice because the first night's dinner was terrific. Very sophisticated and delicious cuisine.
Nothing.

The included breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of choices for everyone.
We ate dinner at the hotel's restaurant and it was so wonderful that we ate there a second time.
Really, nothing.

the overall property is just amazing. the grounds were sprawled over a few acres and the property is on Lake Bled. The staff at the hotel were at the highest standard. always helpful and courteous. this includes all the staff.
while the hotel is gorgeous it is showing a little age in some areas. this didn’t deter from our great time their, just something to point out.

Wonderful location, beautiful building and grounds, pleasant staff, nice breakfast, easy parking
The building and rooms really need to be updated.

Fabulous location! Clean, comfortable room. Spa facilities were a real bonus. Staff was professional and welcoming.
Rooms could use a bit of updating, but good bones and very clean. I would still look forward to staying here again even if it was not modernized, but any updates would make the experience that much more special.

Everything was so exceptional at Villa Bled. The check in receptionists were so friendly and helpful.
The room was beautiful. We chose a suite in the back over the lake view and the room was so large. A sitting room and a bedroom suite. It was perfect, that we ended up staying for four days instead of two.
The setting is beautiful and a rowboat is convenient and free to hotel guests. That was fun.
The restaurant is exceptional. It is truly fine dining. We ate there two nights and opted for the restaurant Starkl down the path a short distance. We would definitely come here again. So much history throughout the hotel. One thing I would enjoy is a tour available to tell the history of the hotel.

We stayed in a spacious, two room suite with a view of the lake. We loved the restrained elegance of the Yugoslavia-inspired decor. We initially doubted the restaurant, but it was perfect.
The beds were hard for Western tastes.

Best view of the lake for any property in the vicinity. The history of the villa is astounding. Many dignatories had stayed there over the years as the property was owned by President Tito of Yugoslavia.

The view is wonderful!
Bathroom is old

beautiful grounds/ dock with private lake access. very friendly and helpful staff. but once you step inside it’s a different story.
beyond outdated interior. not sure how this is rated a 4 star property. the inside is more of an old hostel feel.

The lake view room is as stunning as the pictures. The room fittings are certainly more 'traditional', but the whole place is classy and the views are insane. Breakfast was amazing, and the table area to eat is something out of a movie. The grounds of the hotel are huge, and location on the water is amazing.
As much as the lake view was amazing, the real benefit is the private swimming area and boat rental. You can sit on the deck for days and enjoy a dip with one of the best views in the world. (Also, the lifeguard dude is super super nice and was always ready to help with anything)
Stay here, you won't regret it.
Literally nothing.
