Very quiet place with few tourists
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, from front desk to house keeping staff. The food in the facility was spectacular

The view was incredible, the Hotel itself was okay. The lady at the reception when we got here was really nice , and the guys at the bar too.
For dinner we were sitting at a dirty table, the windows were extremly dirty too, and our shower was not clean when we got our room. Also we didn‘t even know where the ,,whirlpool‘‘ was which is included in the room via the informations of booking.com. We got wrong informations about the dinner time also and when we wanted to open the door of the restaurant a lady was looking at us and just asking us ,, kuda ce te ?‘‘ . The guy at the reception at the Day of leaving wouldn‘t even ask how our stay was, or if everything was alright. Im very disappointed and will definetly not come again here. We paid over 200 Euros for only one night, and because of the hygienics and some workers it‘s just not worth it.

The beautiful view, the quiet location around the hotel, the friendly staff in the restaurant and pool bar of Hotel Maxim and the clear water around Bozava.
The equipment at the pool area was very old. Only 1 working sun umbrella was there and no additional umbrella was possible when we ask for it. The beautiful Konoba of the Hotel was closed. 5 years ago we could eat in June fresh seefod there. Check out was not possible at the reception of the Hotel Maxim, we had to go to the central reception of the Hotel complex Bozava.

The location and clean room
Many things:
1. It was not possible to use the security lock on my room door.
2. The housekeeping woke me up knocking at 8:00 in the morning to clean the room 😡
3. Balkony door if you slide it from outside it will lock and you can’t get back into your room. There is no warning about it at all. I was lucky to have my phone on me. I called the reception, but no one answered my multiple calls. If I wouldn’t have acquaintances nearby I called and they came to hotel open my door and balcony to free me, I would have option so sleep on balcony (till max 08:00 when they wake you up anyway), climb down 2 floors somehow or shout for help.
4. Around 9:00 when I was still lying naked on the bed, a maintenance guy just simply came in to my room. I asked him if he serious, then he left.
5. When checking in I was given the key and pointed the way my room is, but no information was given about anything like breakfast, wi-if, safe, minibar……
6. The only thing which is 4 star here is the price. This hotel is far from 4 stars. 3 would be a kindness to give them.
7. The shower cabin’ glass door wan nearly falling out of it’s railing.
8. They do have a checkout time at 10:00 which is not a 4 Star hotel time. When I asked it was told that they are very busy. Just to note, there were very few guests. So if they have even to prepare for full occupancy tonight, then they would have plenty of time to clean those few rooms (maybe 4-5) if everyone is checking out today. The checkin time is 16:00, so they need 6 hours to clean these few rooms?
9. The furniture is from socialism in Yugoslavia and the bed is uncomfortable.

Location, stuff
Not a level of quality we expected for the value.
4.0 / 5.0
location, helpful staff, weather, food, value for money.
No beach towels provided, nor cushions for sun loungers/chairs on room balcony. No information pack in room so had to ask reception lots of questions.

terrific location and comfortable room
Breakfast was not good and charged for coffee which should have been included

The breakfast was quite good, area is very pleasant for short walks or day trips. Having a balcony over the sea is really nice and the rooms are spacious and comfortable.

The view was amazing. We got the last available unit, it was huge. Two big rooms and a large living room. The pool is big and set in a nice location. There’s also a large play area. You can also swim in the ocean right by the hotel.
The buffet breakfast and dinner was not that great. The food could definitely be better.

Hard bed, balcony door has a weird latch thay can cause you to lock yourself out on the ledge. Apparently it happens all the time according to staff. When it happens you have to call the front desk via you cell phone or hope another person is on their balcony and will help you put by going to the front desk for you.

In general, the hotel is a nice place to stay on the island. It is very clean.
It was very kind that the staff brought the dinner in the room in our first night, when we arrived too late.
Big room with a balcony and sea view.
We booked a double room with breakfast and dinner included.
A thing that we didn't like was that at dinner you have to pay for the drinks. I am OK to pay for a glass of wine or other alcoholic drinks. But I think it should be a normality to assure at least the water.
By the way - the coffee at breakfast is not good at all. We had to buy it every morning at the bar.
We booked a double room, but we got a twin room.

Never stay at maxim
Bad smell of urine in rooms : very strange atmosphere. Customer service like 1970 USSR. Terrible. Very dated food beverage offerings. Avoid.

Clean
Quiet
Nice bathroom and shower
They did a good job with the served-buffet covid-style dinner
Great location on edge of olde towne
Boat dock a 10 minutes walk
Large balcony/porch with lounge chairs and TERRIFIC VIEW
Place looks slick amd glitzy but staff is local and kind, so gives this modern hotel a homey, local feel staying there.
The kid"s area/swimmimg pool/outdoor bar is all off around to the side away from the rooms-balconies
No coffee/tea maker in the room

Cleanliness was catastrophic, especially with Covid. No proper measures on premises.
