Amazing location. The hostess is very kind. She was amazing to our 8 month old son and she provided a cot.

We had no hot water and the hotel was freezing as there was no heating. We were not told of this on checking in. We had to find this out later in the evening when we tried to have a shower. In the morning the heating and bathroom hot water were both not working so we had to take a cold shower.... not a pleasant experience in the cold! To make matters worst we were charged a 100 Euros to stay the night in the hotel. WE DESERVE A REFUND for this miserable experience.

Nice hotel with easy parking. Decent sized room. Bus service into city centre.
The location isn't brilliant for the city centre but we knew it was out of town when we booked. The walk back from the city centre felt unsafe so be careful (if you take the railway bridge route).

Lovely building, decent rooms, very helpful staff, great breakfast buffet
Road noise on one side of the hotel, tiny cups for in-room drinks, over a mile to walk to restaurants

The location was not too far from Orléans which we intended to visit. A good sized room, nothing special, comfortable and quiet.
We didn’t have any contact with the staff a part from written messages. As we arrived at 10pm, we were told were to find our keys and we had to find our room in an almost totally dark building. The morning after, as we hadn’t booked a breakfast and nobody no one approached us to introduce themselves and greet us, we simply left. Then we were contacted because the payment through our credit card didn’t succede, but everything was easily solved by telephone.

Good breakfast & comfy beds. Bedrooms were nice & quiet too
The room could have been a bit cleaner

It was quirky and had an old school elegance about it. A cold beer sitting in the garden was very welcome after a long journey. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The owner was friendly and helpful. Our room was small but perfectly formed with air conditioning and shower room. Everything was clean.
The water in the bathroom sink never ran cold but I forgot to tell the owner! My bad. Could have done with proper cups and nicer tea/coffee and milk in the room (more like the breakfast options).

Great overnight stop on a drive down to southern France. Easy to get the bus into Orleans for dinner.
3.5 / 5.0
Parking was very good. The house and garden were charming. We were able to walk to town it's a 45 minute walk each way. The property was clean, it had French charm. The garden was nice, we only stayed one night. Orleans was a beautiful and charming town and worth the stop. There is a grocery and gas station across the street and a pharmacy on the corner which can be of benefit. I didn't see any restaurants nearby. The guesthouse was clean.
The room was extremely small. We travel often and are aware of European rooms sizes. This was much smaller than we expected. We barely could open the luggage. The price was too high for the room and breakfast should be included. She charged additional 12Euros per person extra, which is expensive for coffee and croissant! I don't mind paying for services as long as they match the delivery. 24 Euros for breakfast for two is too much. Additionally the person running the place was not very warm in her hospitality, when she opened at 4pm, there were 4 couples standing in the driveway and she didn't even acknowledge with a good afternoon! She was not welcoming to questions about the area and was not very forthcoming in her answers. The location was okay for one night but serveral nights would have been difficult due to the room size and the no breakfast policy. Perhaps picking a different room if you are staying longer would be beneficial.

Breakfast was good but when we have stayed before there was cereal and we could boil our own eggs. This time this wasn’t available
As above. Breakfast could have been a bit better

No complaints..everything was great

nice setting, cute interior, peaceful.
we read many good reviews about the breakfast but finally the expectations were higher than the reality.. the options were pretty basic and the quantity was very limited for the number of guests. refill of the buffet was slow (it took 20 min to refill the bread basket for example) which put guests in awkward situation.
