The people are friendly and nice in general. Probably my only and biggest concern is the fact that they close from 11am to 4pm, this is a cultural thing in the area, and I understand. But.. this is a hotel that is supposed to work for tourists.. it is very unpleasant that after a long trip overseas, plus a long train, plus a long walk (cause it is impossible to find taxis/public transportation in that town) you get to your hotel to find out that it is closed and you have to wait hours outside and under the rain to be able to check in. This is too much! I think Burgundy in general needs to realize that it is a touristic area and they could not only make more profit but also offer a better experience if they worked normal day hours.

We liked the location as it was a straight walk into Beaune, about 15 minutes, and right on the road to Dijon. The rooms were comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, it was good, and we enjoyed our stay at Maison Cabotte.

Breakfast was good quality, but choice was limited given the price. We would have bought wine in the evening, but QR code provided in the room didn't work, and it was unclear how the self-service worked. There was a problem with the door lock, and we couldn't get in. This took a while to be fixed. For our second night, we were then offered a better room, which was more spacious (the bathroom of the first room was very small).

It was clean, with an EV charger and close to town

Disappointed to be charge for the coffee in the morning. Would have happily paid the night before when asked if we wanted breakfast (response: no coffee will be fine). There was a fee for breakfast, so presumably we could have paid at the time of check in?. I am always in a rush to leave in the morning, hence no breakfast...., it was a tiny irritant that slowed the day down and felt cheap

Perfect night at Maison Cabotte, comfortable and clean room, very kind people.

Good position, parking available, comfortable rooms and incredibly good advices for Wine Tasting!

Nice cosy place with Aldi right down the street and not far from the towns center

Very nice room. very clean. The staff was great and very helpful.

The breakfast was less than simple. I would have went to the fastfood restaurant down the street, but my husband was there for work
